Came for an anniversary dinner. We were hoping for somthing special. The hotel entrance was grand and we were shown through to the restraunt no problems. Restraunt is done traditionally with monette's reclining lady on the wall and staff in traditional dress. We like a tasting menu as I can't chose but everything was off. Appetiser was a beef filled cornish pasty. Cheesey potatoes with flavourless lamb. Battered white fish and a lot of carrot puree. The octopus was chewy. And everything lacked seasoning. Not really what we were looking for.
