    Stale chips, mediocre salsa and a near empty restaurant? Once the entrees appeared it became clear why the place looked as vacant as a tenement being fumigated. How does such a fun looking Mexican restaurant fail in so many levels? Avoid avoid avoid!

    What a surprise in the heart of the theater district. A great spot for Mexican food and check out the great outdoor roof dining area.

    It was very meh and I would not return. There was no consistency in their mostly ice, overpriced cocktails, the food wasn’t delicious, I found a shrimp legs on some of my food which was clearly carelessness, the shrimp was over cooked, lacked proper tastiness or quality, and the A/C is broken so it was crazy hot inside. We ate outdoors and then became food for night critters. Service was good, but doesn’t make up for the fact that nothing else was. I will never go here again.

    Disappointed with the food. Had a good experience last year but this time everything seemed to have deteriorated. Other than the chips and salsa was entirely an underwhelming experience.

    Great food and service. The restaurant is a very neat and clean environment. The steak Burrito was excellent. The meat was tender and not over cooked. Great margaritas. 👍

    Restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a holiday weekend, but that allowed us our choice of outdoor seating. Beautiful rooftop area. The bartender, Edgar, was wonderful and very fast. Amazing frozen margaritas and food was delicious as well. We told the server we only had 1 hour since we had tickets to a Broadway show, they made sure we were in and out in plenty of time. Have been here before & will definitely keep going back. The only tiny complaint would be the music speakers over every table were rather loud and made it hard to converse, but other than that, perfection!

    I had a really nice time with friends here. We didn’t order food, so I cannot speak to that, but the drinks were fabulous and the service was really good! I highly recommend the spicy margarita!

    Love the rooftop/outdoor bar and dining area. A perfect hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the street and area. Food was good and the service varied between great and friendly to good depending on which server came to the table. Value was very good. Location is great if your into the music and piano bar scene as there were multiple options on the block.

    Service was slow, very pushy on selling alcoholic beverages, requested the deposit of a credit card upfront, apparently in reaction to some other customers who had walked off without paying. Very noisy environment inside and out. Food was OK but two of the salads were supposed to include guacamole but did not.

    Menu seem to change. Ordered the mango habernero Salad with chicken. Not only did the chicken have no taste at all. There was barely dressing. Not the best AT ALL. Menu is now very limited as well which was disappointing

    The food was good. The tempora shrimp soft taco dish was to die for. ...huge shrimp. Unlike other restaurants U weren't ushered along. U were able to enjoy your food with your company.

    Restaurant definitely could have had more A/C on a very hot day in NYC. Certainly would have been more comfortable. Excellent food and service as always. Will always be a go to place pre-theatre.

    Terrific spot on restaurant row! We had a 6pm pre-show reservation and were seated promptly upon our arrival. We skipped the drinks and went for the guac and chips to start, which while it wasn't table-side prepared, was still delicious with big chunks of avocado. Even the chips themselves were delicious. For entree, we split a chicken fajita, more than enough for 2. Everything was fresh and the staff checked our drinks frequently, but not too frequently. We sat outside on the 2nd floor, overlooking the street and that was a show unto itself. We left full and pleased with the experience, in plenty of time to get to our 8pm curtain.

    The staff was very accommodating with my reservation. I had to change it a few times in short period of time and they were understanding of my situation. I was worried about the place maybe being too loud because Mexican restaurants in the city tend to be, but there are different ambiences and they gave us a table in a quiet area. Food was great and very well priced! I recommend the tacos de birria. Service was very attentive at all times. Waiters were nice and check with my party to make sure everything was alright. It was a good place for dinner before Broadway! I would recommend if you want a good meal without breaking the bank! Just as another note, I left my hand sanitizer in the table and realized 3 hours later. Called the restaurant not very hopeful, but turns out the staff saved it and told me I could stop by go get it any time!

    For one thing, the restaurant doesn't seem to be air conditioned, so it is pretty warm. It also feels very touristy with its branding. Service barely spoke English and was pretty haphazard. The margarita was too sweet, but they could do it frozen and in passion fruit. The enchiladas were actually quite good.

    I went there with my children to celebrate my son’s birthday. My children have food allergies and when placing our order we made the waiter aware. unbeknownst to my daughter at the time, they unfortunately put cheese on her taco . She took a bite and realized this and 10 min later she was having an allergic reaction. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that no one was here to talk to me and after another 10 minutes, two waiter came and said the manager told them to take the taxi out of my bill as an apology. None of these people understood the gravity of their mistake. I ended up taking my daughter to the emergency room, because she was having difficulty breathing and didn’t get home until 4am. They ruined our evening and now I have a fat hospital bill to pay .

    This was our first time dining here and will be our last. It's a hot & humid day here in New York and the AC did not feel like it had been turned on. They do not have menu's. You are required to look up everything on your phone. I asked if we got chips and our server said yes. Unfortunately they arrived with the entrees so we didn't eat them. Not a big deal except we were charged for them.

    Food was very good. Service not so much. They do not offer paper menus and I had trouble pulling up the menu on my phone. Gave me an iPad to use and it kept locking. Slow to bring food, never asked if I wanted another drink.

    The menu changed from the last time I was there for brunch! Did not love that there were less options but the food was still pretty tasty. Would have loved to have more lunch options for the part of brunch, as everything had egg on it. Overall will absolutely be returning!

    There weren’t many tables seated from the time we arrived to the time we left. So not busy, but it took our server a while to get us started. He missed things from our first part of our order, has several of the same questions that he went back and forth on about clarity on what “peppers on the side” meant. Didn’t know that it had jalapeño peppers on it. Never checked back, another server walking by saw our empty plates and took them. She finished us out because he was still in a conversation with the guest two tables away. The food was just ok for the price.

    Excellent find on restaurant row!!! Food was amazing. They had a theme brunch upstairs that sounded like so much fun (we sat downstairs). Food was excellent, servers spot on.

    While the place is beautiful and the food was okay, the staff wasn't that great. We sat at the 2nd table along a wall with many tables. We were the only ones there. The first waiter who came up to us right away, but then went behind the bar and never said anything to us again. The second young man came, but he seemed unsure of things. When I got my food, he didn't know if it was tofu in my vegetarian bowl. We got charged $3 for asking for more salsa. A place like this should give chips and salsa for free as do most restaurants, but we were charged. Whenever we asked for something, the waiter would walk away and it took a decent amount of time for him to return. (I understand about staffing shortages.) We were very close to the manager's station. When 2 other couples came in, he seated them on either side of us! In an empty restaurant with many other available tables. Seriously?! Being on Restaurant Row in NYC is a big deal for me. I've never had a bad experience with any restaurant on that block. We didn't say anything at the restaurant because it was more of a feeling than anything else. I will dissuade my friends from this restaurant.
