   Made a last minute reservation before seeing a show. The restaurant is charming. Loved the decor. The food was fresh and plentiful. It was also conveniently located and very reasonable.

   Meal/food was wonderful, but it was very loud. The acoustics made all sound bounce off the walls, thus it was extremely difficult to hear (especially for the one in our group with hearing aids).

   We went to the drag brunch on May 14. A couple of us arrived earlier and had drinks at the bar, which were good, while listening to music, which was also good. Then we headed upstairs to the drag show. It wasn't what we expected having gone to drag shows before. There were some entertaining parts, some great dancing and some stunts gone wrong, but a big detractor was the sound system, which was horrible. We ordered our food from the brunch menu and thought that the per person price included all of the menu items, we ordered one appetizer for our group that was on the brunch menu and was charged additional money for it. Overall, the food was okay but not something that we would order in the main part of the restaurant. After the show we went back into the main part of the restaurant and ordered other food items and drinks. The food and the music in the main part of the restaurant were way better.

    The Food was absolutely spectacular and delicious. Generous portion sizes. We had the Elote and Tres Salsas to start and were already almost full just from that. Main course was the Budon de pollo and Al pastor quesadilla. Wait service was a bit slow/inattentive but food came out quickly after ordering. I would definitely go back and enjoy this place again.

    It’s got a strange vibe. Went on cinco de mayo and the place was very busy. We had a reservation and still had to wait fifteen mins to be seated. When we came in it seemed as tho they had makeshift tables to accommodate the oncoming traffic (our table was placed up against a bar). The music was SO loud it made it feel less like a dinner place and more of a bar/club which is really what it should’ve been. The dinner service seemed sacrificed because it was so busy, we sat down at 9:30 and didn’t order until 10, then didn’t receive our food until 11:00. The food was very good, and they were very nice to us, but it just seemed like they were too busy especially at the bar to be serving food that night.

    We should have stayed with the mexican specialties, as the lamb and the salmon were both colossal disappointments. The salsa, guac and queso trio were spectacular and we appreciated the various margarita options. We will dine again but stick to the script. Update: received a prompt and courteous response to this review. They clearly care and I look forward to giving it another try!!!!!

    Thank You for the additional detail Keena, I'm going to review with Chef Javier and team at our next meeting. These two dishes should have been great, I do love the salsa on the salmon as well! The lamb is our interpretation of a stew, sometimes cooks do have it in the salamander too long, other guests have been afraid of the "pink". But I will review with the servers as well.     Food was cold. The drag queens are the main reason we came and they didn't disappoint. The drinks were good tho but the food was cold and the chips weren't the best. We didn't bring it up to the server's attention but it would've been nice if the food was hot. The chairs are also pretty uncomfortable. They have this metal piece that hits your lower back and it gave me a bruise

    Our party of 13 had a great time here. The food and drinks were really good. The portions were all a good size with the exception of the enchiladas & the salsa they give you with your chips. The bowl of salsa is so small , you can’t even fit a chip in the bowl. The server did bring over another bowl of salsa, but it is something worth mentioning. Service was friendly and the watermelon margaritas were delicious.

    It was a good experience. Overall service was good. My friends had some particular request which were accommodated with grace. Service didn't check on us often. Took a minute to get the check before leaving. But overall I had a good time. Love that they accomodate the time according to your party size.

    Our first time at the restaurant but it will not be the last. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I had the Budin "mexican lasagna" since it was an item I had never had before in a Mexican restaurant. It was so good I hope to get back soon to have it again.

    Terrible service. Our waiter was nice enough but must have had a memory problem because you had to ask 3-4 times to get anything. Food was good, atmosphere was nice. Probably wouldn't go again cause of service

    The drag brunch is very fun. Great entertainers! The bottomless margaritas/mimosas/sangria however had next to no alcohol in them. Very disappointing drinks- we were just drinking juice. The food was good though.

    Great guacamole and friendly, efficient service. The fish tacos were incredibly bland and disappointing. Al pastor were better. The carnitas fajitas were over cooked and cheese was burnt. Not terrible but not great.

    This was my 2nd time back this year. We went before a Broadway show. Perfect location and spot to go. LOVE the atmosphere and architecture. I went with 2 friends, who didn't go with me last time. They loved the place too and plan to come again and recommend it before a show to others.

    Very disappointed. The meat and cheese for my fajitas were carbonized. Tortillas were too dry. The music ( merengue) was way too loud. My companion’s burrito was smothered with sauce on the OUTSIDE! Messy! I am mexican and the food was not up to par. Sorry but shall not return nor recommend it.

As you are Mexican as well, we always, as many in Puebla, put the salsa on the outside. If it is inside, we can not change it for people's preference.     In a few weeks ago, and back yesterday for Cinco. Wow, does this place get packed. Make a reservation, we got sat on time. Servers really did a great job with the Tequila. They had two different tequila companies giving out prizes, and we even got customized shirts. Someone got their face painted. The food was great and their DJ after the singer and mariachi played the best set of Latin tunes I've heard. Definitely will be back.

    The service was great, we had multiple servers coming over taking orders, checking on us, etc. The food was good. The restaurant was also larger than typical NY spots. There was an upstairs and downstairs. Ambiance was great, music playing but not too loud.
