Tito and Pep
We hope to establish ourselves as a true hub, woven into the fabric of one of Tucson's most vibrant areas. The focus of the experience at Tito and Pep is mesquite-fired cuisine, as well as a full-service beverage menu featuring quality beer, wine, & cocktails.
Applying over 20 years of experience gained across the U.S. and abroad, Chef & Owner John Martinez draws influence from the multi-cultural history of the region and from his travels, to create a cuisine that is vibrant and delicious.
Excellent food! Wonderful drinks!
Outstanding, original and creative dishes. The panna cotta is the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted.
The food is great here. The menu changes from time to time, so there's always a new entree, appetizer or dessert to try. The house cocktails are creatively concocted, but they are also good with standard drinks. The Service is outstanding!
Excellent queso flameado and chocolate ganache dessert was to die for!
Best staff, food, and cocktails in Tucson! Always a great experience.
Very nice food, drink and service in a quiet pleasant environment. The sound track music is the best in restaurant I can remember for a long time. I'm certain the restaurant is not happy about the small crowds, however, they are a blessing for an enjoyable dining experience.
Covid consciousness and attention to good prevention. Smaller menu of tapas like appetizers and a selected number of main plates in all the categories - though limited. But the flavors and spicy choices make it now one of my fave places. The drinks menu is also quite creative! Service is super friendly and accommodating. Seating more than 6 feet apart. The desserts are also a must must must and server will tell you what they are at end of meal so save some room.
What a terrific surprise.
Visiting Tucson over New Years and looking for a nice spot. This was a great find. Small format, high level cooking. The menu is small and I’m unsure of whether this is a COVID affect or normal. In either case it’s smart. Probably six appetizers and six entrees. I had their signature dish which was trout and it was outstanding. Margarita rocks which was perfect. My wife and daughter had the salmon and pork chop.
We throughly enjoyed this meal. The icing on the cake was the extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and conscientious team that works here.
Without a doubt we will go again.
A small and very COVID safe dining experience. Yes a list of only 10 or so small appetizer type plates and a similar number of main dishes. Great variety all with wonderful twists on the flavor ingredient combos. You will need to go multiple times to try them all. One of every meat variety and all perfect serving sizes. ESP love the grilled octopus and any fish or meat. The passion fruit dessert is my fave.
This place was the first that checked our temperature before even taking our seats. I made a reservation, they took us immediately and began right away taking our orders.
I had heard of their steak skewers and we placed an order of them for our appetizer and also each ordered our own cocktails. They even accommodated my boyfriend by making his cocktail on the rocks and replacing his glass.
THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. Our waitress was very prompt to come and ask us often when we were ready, gave us our time, and even give us her input on what to order!
We finished our meal with their olive oil cake (which I was also recommended to try). Since this visit was for a birthday, they brought out a cute candle.
We were blown away with the service, the style of the place, as well as the ambiance. I've been dying to try this place out and now that I got the BF on board, BRUNCH HERE WE COME!
The food are incredible and the staff was a great!
Awesome all around ! We can’t wait to come back ! Food was awesome our server was great .
Tito & Pep is my favorite restaurant in Tucson. I've been four or five times and every time has been excellent. I lived in NYC for a long time, so I've been to some very good restaurants. Tito & Pep is very, very good. The food and cocktails are interesting, inventive, unique, and, most importantly, really delicious. Highly, highly recommended.
We enjoyed our visit thoroughly, the food, host, waitress, and music.
Best dining in a long time.
Lynn
It is now my favorite restaurant. Please increase menu selections soon because I go often thanks
It was a nice place, but not great. nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Everything was great, except our waitress didn't pay much attention to us. She told us she had been there since Day 1, but she must have slipped in service skills since she started.
Great food and value.
First time here and it was a great experience. I had roasted chicken with butternut squash and my friend had trout. Both were delicious as was our appetizer salad. Our server was very attentive and food was served quickly. We both can't wait to return.
Delicious!
We love Tito and Pep! The food is so fresh and tasty, with a unique twist on classic foods. Our server suggested a fantastic Cabernet and we enjoyed a few appetizers in delightful ambience. Love the retro, vintage, bohemian decor with live plants and big windows. One of our new favorite local spots. Great for a casual outing or special occasion.
The food is as good as it was before Covid. We ordered take out throughout the shut down and it is very good too. Sitting at the restaurant allows a broader menu. Like the trout! We have been twice since they reopened.
Chef/Owner, John Martinez is absolutely brilliant and creative. Tito and Pep is our favorite restaurant which is why it's so worth the drive for us
This is a really cool trendy little spot. Service was great and we enjoyed the food. I strongly recommend the Hamachi starter. It's light, flavors are spot on. Some good options on the wine list as well.
So happy T&P is open again. Fabulous restaurant week menu. Great service and lovely food as usual! Not noisy is the upside if social distancing measures
Our of our favorites. Restaurant week menu outstanding. Carna Asada tartare tostada app spicy goodness. Pork shoulder well seasoned. Buttermilk pancake panna cotta unique desert. Always unique layered flavors in every dish. Highly recommend. Our 6th visit and never disappointed.
Plenty of room between tables. Felt very comfortable and safe.
Great food and great service and the best drinks in Tucson
Tito and Pep is a must, their food is always well presented, fresh, innovative and delicious.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food, service, and atmosphere was excellent. Will definitely be going back.
As always, superb all around. Brunch is a tremendous value.
Food was amazing!! Best restaurant in town. Definitely coming back.
Once again great food, fine service and a good time! It keeps us coming back...
Tito and Pep has been and will be one of my favorite Tucson Restaurants if not for the grilled octopus alone.
Has to be a Tucson Top 5 restaurant!
Superb food. Excellent Manhattan. Trout entree the nicest I have had, as was the calamari. The place is waaay to noisy, however.
Great birthday celebration locale! Fantastic food, great, casual no-pressure service, and did I mention amazing food? Just glad we were off to the side so we could hear each other- it was rockin’ on a Monday night!
Wow great food ! Was in Tucson for 3 nights ate here 2 had to go back this restaurant is so fantastic. Really special and unexpected flavors.
Brunch was delicious!! Everything was plated so beautifully!!
My wife and I took another couple to Tito & Peps (our 4 or 5th visit). Outstanding food and service, yet again
We visited Tito & Pep a few months ago for lunch, and were not terribly impressed. Encouraged by the positive reviews, we went back - this time for dinner. Everything was fantastic. A delicious cocktail, and mesquite-grilled appetizer (octopus) and entrees (lamb chops and a mahi mahi daily special) as well as small side salads.
My only gripe is that the service could have been quicker, but overall a very good experience and a restaurant we will go back to.
