    Cannot recommend this restaurant. We went last night to celebrate a special occasion, we had reservation, and were seated right away. Everyone was very nice and polite, however, it took over an hour to get our orders. It was a Monday night, and the restaurant was busy, but not swamped. Our waitress apologized for the delay, and a gentleman came to our table to apologize for the delay. Over an hour is not a delay, it must have been a lost order. When asked if he was the manager, Teddy said “sort of”. He offered to buy us desert, or a drink. I declined, indicating how long we waited, and said just my order, please. He stayed with us and did not provide any reason for the delay, so the kitchen could make our orders I assume. In my opinion he should have paid our bill, but never offered to. Our wait was far too long. The food was good not great, but waiting for over an hour, I was hungry. This long wait a screw up by the kitchen, or wait person, was terrible. We will never return to this restaurant.

    Tito and Pep is amazing! It’s a great restaurant but doesn’t feel too pretentious like a lot of other fancier restaurants. The food is so good, their menu changes and they have specials but I really don’t think you can go wrong with anything. Ask your waiter for their recommendations if you can’t decide! It’s my go to place for special occasions.

    Every plate that we had was perfect. The waitress gave us a great tip on the pork chop, and we had the scallop special. The octopus is my favorite thing in the world. I get it every time. The salad was creative and wonderful. The olive oil, rosemary cake was a great finish. We cleaned every plate and left happy.

    Everything was so good! Appetizers are amazing (tuna delish!). Fish, pork chops and steak so great. Perfectly cooked! Dessert delish! Recommend this restaurant.

    New York steak came out cold. Sent it back and it came out lukewarm, not hot. The waitress spoke with the manager and the manager offered to give me a free dessert. Better than a kick in the butt, but I declined.

    The NY Strip was gristly; I didn’t finish it. The Grenache was 1) poor quality, or 2) should have been aerated prior to serving. I was not provided a steak knife. The person I ate with did say she liked her sea bass -I think she was being sincere. Ambiance is ok. If this restaurant is highly rated, Tucson is not the burgeoning food Mecca people would like it to be. One and done.

    We had 4 appetizers for 2 people--perfect amount and all were delicious: queso fundido grilled octopus, sea bass crudo, and broccoli. Our server was efficient and personable. All in all, a great evening.

    I love this place. The food was exceptional especially the grilled octopus. My Striped Bass was lovely and so tasty. Will be back for sure to taste more. Would have like more choices of Chardonnay.

    The food is unique and delicious, the service is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is modern and attractive. They have a great selection of beer, wine and cocktails. We will definitely be back! The restaurant was completely full on a Tuesday evening, so a reservation appears to be necessary.

    The food and atmosphere are always great but what really made this visit fantastic was our server. I am embarrassed that I can't remember her name but she was simply awesome - one if the 2 best servers we have had in Tucson in over 10 years.

    Food was unique and very fresh and flavorful. We don’t live in Tucson so would not be coming regularly, but the menu is limited so i don’t know how often we would go unless there were additional items on offer. The look of the restaurant is nice, but tables are pretty close together so it’s not a place for private conversation. Service was pretty good,though staff seemed stretched thin. All in all would eat there again because the food was different and well prepared.

    An absolute Tucson gem that will be on our monthly rotation of restaurants we visit. We started out with the Calamari which was light and tasty - not stringy at all. I had the NY steak which was incredible with the Plum Sauce. My wife had the Grilled Baja Striped Bass which was fantastic, as well. To top it off, we had the sumptuous Dark Chocolate Ganache. Yummy. The drinks were overpriced but we are finding that all over Tucson. At least $10 for a house cocktail. A couple drinks a piece and your well on your way to an over $100 per couple experience. A modest place that you'd never know existed. Wonderful service in a friendly, upbeat environment. It can get a little loud in there but that's because people are having a good time! Highly recommended.

    Great food! A little rushed. We loved every dish! Asparagus, octopus, crudo special…all very interesting and tasty! Rushed: 3 share plates for 2 at the same time and main at table while still on share plates. We’re on vacation and want to slow down! Overall very good food but in and out so fast for such a good meal. If in Tucson again we would go back.

    While it may seem a “small” number of menu choices to some- all of them are fabulous and always a little different from any mundane version at larger restaurants. I’ve tried almost all of the 2+ offerings and never disappointed! And I also love the specials they add nightly - an appetizer small plate and a other main. The hamachi special appetizer often tempts me from my fave grilled octopus starter. And the special chicken dish often temps me from the 4 others I love. Yes… eat here several times a month for years now - even before the NYT article alerted the world to how fabulous the food is!!!
