great food and wine. our server chris was excellent! just the band for open mic could’ve been a little bit quieter they were extremely loud.
amazing food and service, our server Tom was nice and very attentive.
The food was good but i was on the toilet all night. It went right thru my system. Will I come back? Nope!
Sat in library and had wonderful time. Food was delish and good portions.
I've dined here many times, usually with groups in town on business. The food and service are always very good. Try the Shepard's Pie or the corned beef. Good beer selection.
The place was empty which seemed strange for a Sunday night at dinner. Almost was going to leave but luckily we didn’t. I was really craving a burger and didn’t feel like driving far and this is in my neighborhood. I really haven’t eaten here because I hadn’t heard great things. I don’t know but I got the Texas burger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. The meat was tasty, it was a good size and cooked just as I had ordered. My husband got the short ribs and he thought they were delicious as well, tender, flavorful and not fatty (which short ribs do tend to be.) The only reason I gave it a lower than 5 star is because although the place was practically empty it took a good 5 minutes before someone acknowledged our presence to seat us, the music was turned up way to loud for the amount of people in the restaurant and when they went to seat us (again it was an empty restaurant except for two other tables) they tried to place us at the tiniest table available right next to another table. I realize waitresses have stations but this was totally uneccesary. I did ask for one of the larger tables which they gave us willingly. However, rather than saying which table do you prefer (since there was many options to choose from) they sat us right next to a very loud boisterous table. We will definitely be back.
I checked the online menu and was looking forward to the pork chop. However, our server informed me that it was no longer served. I was a bit disappointed.
We had a great time. Mandy was terrific!
Great staff. Great food. Could almost forget the loud bar sounds from where the private seating was located. Recommend a door to forget dampen sounds
Took m my lady out to dinner for her birthday. Everything was very nice and no complaints.
First off, we eat out everyday so trust me when I tell you, it was DIRTY. Our table was being held in place by dirty cloth napkins, and the wall next to us had food and stains in it. Overall: disgusting! They sat us right below a bright light so it was impossible to relax. Our server rushed us every minute and even brought the appetizers with the food. Seriously? I lost my appetite. Never again.
Great experience; however, at 1:00 PM on a Sunday they didn’t have corned beef because they ran out.
This place is good if you like Irish beer and sandwiches.
Food was excellent. After dinner, we enjoyed a relaxing moment with drinks around the fire pit. Depending on seating location, music was pretty loud. We were able to choose a spot where it wasn’t quite so loud. We would have preferred Irish music, since it was an Irish pub. Ambiance would have then been perfect. Server, Chelsea, was very attentive and informative. Looking forward to going back.
Went for a 630 dinner with biz colleagues, great waiter and the place was not too busy . Foid was very good and they had gluten free hamburger buns..cery nice!
Five Dollar Shakes was playing
This is one of our favorite places to go for lunch or dinner. There food is fresh and the chef is great. We love their beer menu and cocktails. The waitstaff is friendly. Sometime’s we wait for a refill when we are in the dining room. Not sure if they are under staffed or what. The ambiance is welcoming and lovely.
Great meal and service!
Went to hear The Rents. Enjoyed the food and had a great evening.
Father's Day brunch was disappointing. It took awhile to get our food and the French toast was four pieces of regular white bread and maple syrup that was so hot we could not use it.
Nice atmosphere and great service
The restaurant was great, BUT was a bit disappointed when I made a reservation for 7:45pm on a Friday evening and my boyfriend and I were seated at a tall table with stools in an enclosed outdoor area (we wore our jackets the entire time). I wasn't quite expecting that, but now I know for next time to request a table with chairs.
They accommodated my request for party of 10. It was my birthday and open mic night. Incredible performances and fast service for both food and drink! Friendly staff. It was my first time being there and not my last!
We went to Tir Na Nog for Mother's Day brunch. There were six of us including my two children. We arrived a half hour before our reservation and were seated immediately even though we were still waiting for my sister. When she arrived we ordered our meals within two minutes. It took 45 minutes to be served! It was a busy afternoon but there were still plenty of tables open throughout the restaurant. We were our waitress's only table in the small room off to the side so, while she was nice and friendly when she was at our table, we hardly saw her. After our meals, which were fine (the french toast seemed to have been sitting for a while and was a bit stale around the edges), my kids wanted ice cream. It took 20 minutes to get two bowls of ice cream! I really don't think it was any busier than a normal Sunday brunch so I don't understand the wait. My chicken sandwich was good enough that I'd try Tir Na Nog again but I'd definitely not bring the kids if the service is generally like this.
Mother's Day brunch! Food was good! Had a good time! Will go back!
Food was delicious. Definetly recommend shrimp tempura appetizer and sea bass entree. However took forever to be served, 645 reservation. We were seated immediatley but werent finished till after 9. We were a family party of 8.
excellent service, great selection, awesome ambience
A bit noisy and slow service.
Bruce was an amazing server. the brunch menu is fantastic and i highly recommend the eggs benedict!
Everything was great, except we made a reservation and had to wait about 1/2 hour to be seated. Other then that everything was great.
Three of us. We were there to celebrate St. Patrick's Day as we have done years before. The food was very good. Wait service was good and Chelsy (sp?) was very warm and friendly. We like eating here.
Would love to here some Irish music especially a week before St. Pat’s Day...food ok...great service and Irish Pub...
I like going here for their delicious quality food and ambiance. Their service was lacking and it did not seem busy. Their brunch menu is great. However, I wish they would offer more lunch items. The breakfast items are very rich with loads of calories. Included in the brunch menu are complementary mimosa and who does not want that on a Sunday? 😜 it still is one of my favorite places to go.! Great beer selection too.
Food was excellent, service was great! I wish we had tried there sooner, but will definitely be back!!
It was my birthday and I wanted something different. I enjoy trying new restaurants and thought it was a good idea, after seeing the reviews on OpenTable. The food, service and ambiance were great. Please know that they have live bands play on the weekend between 9-11.
Shepherds pie and cornbeef and cabbage dinners were delicious!
Table too small for 2 people. Second time there were obnoxious loud children annoying everyone.
Overall we love Tir Na Nog. It's very different than the old Irish place that was there - the food is WAY better (WAY WAY) and great craft beer list. Went there today for brunch and it's always outstanding. Had the Huevos Rancheros, it was extremely good, but overpriced for what you got - 2 small tortillas with 1/2 an egg, baked beans, and salsa. The issue we had was the size for the price. We come for happy hour during the week from time to time and 2 fish tacos is $5. This dish was $15. $15!! We thought it would have be much larger. There's probably $1 of cost on the plate. It was very very tasty, but small. Add another tortilla at very least and this would have got 5 stars... We will surely be back, just not getting this (tasty) dish.
