   The on line booking was a bit chaotic but it worked. Car parking gave ample space but on entering the pub the décor appeared a bit tired although there was a great atmosphere. Staff were kind and service fairly prompt. Food was excellent and imaginatively plated with an excellent Sunday menu.

   Had Sunday Roast there and were pleasantly surprised: it was super tasty, possibly, one of the best ones! As we love our food and always look for the best meals-this could be one of them!:)

   Although table had been reserved it had already been taken by other customers. After some discussion offered an alternative small table in a corner hardly big enough for four people. Left the premises and had an excellent meal at The Old Lodge in Minchinhampton only 10 mins further on - well worth the drive.

   First time to dine here. Went mid week which was not too busy. The restraunt was closed, but we still enjoyed being in the main bar to eat our delicious meal. My husband was especially happt to find liver and onions on the menu!! Shall definitely go again

   Tipputs Inn is brilliant. The food is great the beer is fab. The Bar Manager makes the place incredible always welcoming and very helpful.

   Food was amazing, staff friendly and great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back soon! Oh and a good selection of gins too.

    Very disappointed as had been recommended The Tipputs and it was our 1st Wedding Anniversary. My starter was completely different to how it was described on the menu. Should have been Wood Pigeon breast on black pudding mash with red wine jus. It came out as a wood pigeon breast with some sort of pickled white cabbage and mustard sauce. I queried this and instead of re-plating correctly, I was just brought a little bowl of black pudding mash. I had ordered King Prawns in garlic butter with salad and fries for my main. The dish came out and we were asked if we wanted sauces. I requested salad dressing and the waitress responded 'what?' so I repeated my request and was brought another bowl with a teaspoon of salad dressing in it. I realised I had no fries so again had to check the menu to make sure I had not been mistaken - another trip to the bar to request the missing fries. The plate was cold, the prawns were luke warm and mushy. As the prawns were 'shell-on' I really could have done with a finger bowl. My husband had Rack of Lamb with very little Lamb. We had been advised it would be cooked 'pink' which would have been perfect - except it wasn't, it was over-done. Horribly over-priced for the quality of food. We did get a small discount off the bill but even at that price, we felt robbed!
