Chef Lynden Zuniga never let anything stop him from following his dreams. From a young age, he knew that owning restaurant would be what made him happy and it was! After marrying Sally and working on their own idea together for years they finally opened Tio’s Latin American Kitchen on Hilton Head Island in SC. The locals loved the delicious food as well as tourists who visited too! And now there is another location open at Bluffton, SC where you can enjoy this great kitchen for yourself!

We focus on fresh. We focus on value. We focus on family. Just like our marriage, our friends and our beloved island, Tío’s is a fusion – of Latin food. When Latinos get together to celebrate, we are often surrounded by people from Mexico, central and South America and Spain.

Our menu emulates that of our extended family and friends. Chef Lynden soon partnered with Chef Logan McManus to continue to grow and evolve our restaurant and brand.

Loved it! Great food, great service. The food was great as usual. unfortunately the restaurant was practically empty by the time we had our dinner. I wish there were more people there to enjoy the restaurant as much as we do.

My wife had Marisco Burrito and I had the Sandwiche Cubano. Both were excellent. Will be going back for sure.

We had a wonderful meal! Everything was so tasty! Our waiter Marcus was awesome and coerced the bartender to make me a perfect margarita for this Texas Girl. The four of us cannot wait to go back and try more things on the menu. I had the poblano peppers with Borracho sauce, (so yummy), others had carne asada, seafood burrito and tacos. All good!!

Great location, very good service and thats where it ends. The margaritas are so bitter you can’t taste the alcohol, even when you ask for hi-end spirits you can’t get past the bitter mix. Margaritas are easy Easy, tequila, fresh squeezed juice, simple syrup, an orange flavored liquor, weather it’s triple sec, Cointreau or Grand Marnier. Add the salt, it’s pretty simple. “Rib Eye” Fajita? It was so overcooked and salty. The vegetable were overcooked but accountable compared to the “ribeye”. The taco salad was average. Price extra for chips and salsa....
