Perfect For:

  • Neighborhood Gem
Tiny's & the Bar Upstairs is a three story townhouse located on W. Broadway in the heart of Tribeca. The building dates to 1810 and much of the original materials have been restored and overlayed with whimsical American finish detail. Siblings Matt, Jack and Ana Abramcyk conceived of a space where you can come to eat, drink, or just talk over a glass of wine. The sibling trio complements the warm-hearted atmosphere and furthers the artistic spirit of Tiny’s making it a true family run neighborhood place. At Tiny's, breakfast, lunch, brunch, and dinner menus blend classic technique with local market ingredients. The menu reflects Modern American cuisine with Italian and French influences.

The restaurant is absolutely amazing with decor and food. Sadly the service was so off. Uncaring waitress and food took 50 minutes for 2 people. Food is delicious though.

Tiny’s remains one of my favorite hidden gems in the city. Request back room by the fireplace for a truly unique, cozy experience!

This is seriously one for f the best places I’ve been to in the city. Decor, menu, fireplace, service this place is oooooozing with charm. A hideaway amidst the hustle and bustle with delicious food. Did I say fireplace???

Impossibly noisy- food is decent but wildly overpriced- atmosphere is crowded and claustrophobic, especially in the downstairs back, upstairs is better but the biggest problem is the noise- between the loud music upstairs and the very loud people with no sound baffling whatsoever it makes for a truly uncomfortable meal.

It was good, but they wouldn’t give a table upstairs which i think if there is space they should accommodate you

Went there at 8:30 AM on a Thursday for a birthday breakfast with friends. Waitress was very slow to take our order. The person at the table next to us arrived 20 minutes after we did and was served 20 minutes before us. When I asked the waitress the status of the order she rudely told us that it was "being cooked" but made no effort to communicate or apologize.

Fortunately the food was tasty, but the portions were enormous and too expensive.

Overall experience was very disappointing.

Visited Tiny's for the first time; had gotten great recommendations from friends and they did not disappoint. The food was fresh, terrific and creative. The kale salad excellent as was the duck, steak and chicken. And excellent fries. And great drunken donuts. Wait staff knowledgeable and very nice. Manager very friendly. An enjoyable evening all around.

Made a reservation here the night before and was able to get a table for three for brunch on a Saturday - usually a challenging feat in Manhattan. The servers were attentive and the food - I can not even begin to describe how delicious it was. We got to share the homemade donut holes glazed with whiskey caramel and brown sugar and these gigantic tater tots; they’re cubes of crispy browned perfection. I ordered the red quinoa crisp and it came with chorizo, egg, and a nice chili sauce on the side. My friends got the omelet with the Gouda and the hangover rancheros which is as amazing as it sounds. The interior of the place has a very rustic charming vibe. Overall 10/10 would definitely go back to try the other entrees on the menu!

The space lives up to its name. I had to get up from my seat at both the bar and my table to allow other customers to walk by. Not ideal

Always great food and service. Tiny's is tiny but food and drink pack a punch. Generous portions and great for you and 3-4 friends or date night. Upstairs bar is fun and usually they have great drinks!

They tried to jam five of us into a table for four, which is just not gracious. And they were visibly annoyed when we put one of us on the end, so we could actually eat. My recommendation: be explicit about your seating needs when you reserve. Also, upstairs is way loud.

Disappointing return visit after a fantastic first dining experience. Good food, nice waiter. I love the Beastie Boys, but not blasting over dinner while I'm sitting next to what could have been a romantic fireplace. Hostess was exceptionally rude and condescending when I reminded her politely that I had requested a table by the fireplace. I got the table but I also got so much attitude. That's a deal breaker. I would not return. We did't even stay for desert, although were celebrating a milestone birthday - as I also had notified the restaurant of advance.

Horrible experience. Reserving a table makes no sense here as they don’t place you even when you reserved weeks ago and confirmed with them. You are treated badly and just in the way. We left when it was clear they wouldn’t place us at a table. There are other very nice restaurants in TriBeCa.

The fireplace is great. But, the music is too loud. The server prepared us for extra food prep time on an item and offered to bring out the veg first as an appetizer, which was nice. Timed to-go items nicely, too.
