About Tiny's & the Bar Upstairs
Tiny's & the Bar Upstairs is a three story townhouse located on W. Broadway in the heart of Tribeca. The building dates to 1810 and much of the original materials have been restored and overlayed with whimsical American finish detail. Siblings Matt, Jack and Ana Abramcyk conceived of a space where you can come to eat, drink, or just talk over a glass of wine. The sibling trio complements the warm-hearted atmosphere and furthers the artistic spirit of Tiny’s making it a true family run neighborhood place. For Tiny’s, Chef Paul has created breakfast, lunch, brunch, and dinner menus that blend classic technique with local market ingredients. The menu reflects Modern American cuisine with Italian and French influences.

Tiny's & the Bar Upstairs Ratings and Reviews
I absolutely love Tiny's. The place is small and cozy, with a lovely fireplace on the lower level. The food is always delicious and the service top notch. It is a small restaurant and the last time we dined there was a loud party of 6 next to us, which was a little annoying since the tables are very close to each other. Otherwise we will definitely be back!
Nice atmosphere. Friendly service, but our food took over 45 minutes. We were there for a Saturday brunch. Food was pretty good, though the portions felt kind of small. Also, when we arrived we were told by our waiter that we’d have to wait a bit if we wanted a hot beverage because they ran out of mugs. Fortunately our waiter was really sweet and it (almost) made up for the delay with our food.
We celebrated a birthday dinner/pre-Marathon family reunion at Tiny's and it could not have been more perfect. The candlelit atmosphere is warm, cozy and intimate. Our drinks upstairs, while we waited for our table, were inventive and delicious. The hostess and waitstaff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating (allowed space for two more family members to make an impromptu visit for dessert) and the food was outstanding. Tiny's is perfect for a romantic dinner as well as for a warm gathering of friends and family. We will absolutely be back!
Service was horrible - restaurant wasn't that busy and just empty drinks on our table with no one offering a refresher. Ordered a medium burger that came out well with a free fly, but it's fine...enjoyed my time with friends. 6 bloody mary's will cost you $90 - but it is NY!
Tater Tots best I’ve ever had!
Burger excellent, but TINY! Maybe takes after name of restaurant! Haha
Breakfast sandwich excellent but bread sliced way too thin for proportions of fillings.
Drunken Donuts a little dry and should have some sort of creme or custard or lemon curd.. also not very drunk.
We had reservations for the patio, but there was not table, so we sat just inside the door, where there are only a few tables. The people on either side of us were extremely loud, and it took over 15 minutes for our waiter to see us... That said, the place is great; just try to get a table somewhere other than the front if you want some quiet.
We made dinner reservations days in advance and showed up on time for our 8pm dinner. Hostess went to seat us upstairs at the bar and when I said we wanted to sit in the dining room she said it was full so we accepted seating upstairs. The noise level was super loud as it is a bar! If a reservation is made for dinner the restaurant should sit people with reservations in the dining room not the bar!!! What is the point of making a reservation with this place? Food was good, not amazing but good. Could not hear what was being said across the table so the dinner was very disappointing.
The food was pretty good. We had a bit of everything. Even though it's not vegan it has a healthy vibe and the food is very fresh and vegetable heavy.
True to its name, it's very very small so I wouldn't recommend for a large group but for a girls lunch it was perfect.
It's a sweet spot.
This is our neighborhood spot and so I never thought to review as frankly, we take it for granted. When we shouldn't! So my post to say that we are so grateful and lucky its around the corner. Especially for the past several months. It has always been just wonderful. We had the Coho salmon, which is hard to cook and they always nail it. The broth is outstanding. The brussell sprouts and the pork chop were both excellent.
It has gone up in price and so we don't go as often, but it is a special treat when we do. In the winter being in the back room is super cozy. As the restaurants around us become more refined and commercial its so wonderful having this little gem right here.
Went for brunch with family. Menu was pretty limited, had more "breakfast" items on the menu like waffles, eggs Benedict. Would have liked more of a variety. Drinks were interesting and excellent. Only one bathroom in the joint which really stinks, literally. Otherwise it was a nice spot, interesting decor.
The best brunch I have been to in a LONG time! The service was outstanding. The food was unbelievable, especially the scones! Cocktails were PERFECT. The ambiance was perfect for long, relaxing brunch. We sat upstairs in a corner table by the window and had the most perfect setting for a delicious meal. The waiter was very knowledgeable and did not rush us out of the restaurant. I will definitely be returning VERY soon! Amazing experience.
It's called Tiny's for a reason. It's very adorable but its charms are better appreciated during the cold of winter. On one of the hottest days of the year, minimal air conditioning and cramped quarters made removal of layers of clothing necessary. Processing of drink orders involved a degree of mayhem, but cocktails when they eventually arrived were well-prepared. Eclectic menu should have something for everyone, and our selections elicited no complaints if no rave reviews either.
My first time dining here I took myself for lunch and fell in love with their "Superfood Pancake". Next time, I brought my mom for brunch and was delighted to find that it was included on their brunch menu as well. My mom got the Buttermilk Pancakes and they were heavenly. The OJ and Basil Lemonade were excellent as well. Each time I have been to Tiny's has been a delight! The wait staff and friendly and professional and the atmosphere is lovely. I loved the historical building. Now I just need to experience the bar upstairs - I will definitely be back!
Food was great, but not outstanding. I had the fluke and the kale salad to start. The kale salad was delicious but rather large for one person - would definitely recommend it as a sharing dish. The desserts didn't look great. Wine was good and server was really nice. Another server, however, kept bumping into my friend's chair while serving another table. We went to the bar upstairs for a cocktail after and the cocktails were delicious... really expensive though.
The place is super cosy and cool ambience while also relaxed. The food is really really good. Top quality ingredients which are innovatively and very well prepared. Been twice this NYC trip and will go for lunch again once before I go back. This will be a place I will visit regularly.
