Great food and the people at the door when checking in were Terrific! but they are very lazy and unaccountable when it came to managing our table in the upstairs bit. They were busy but the one waiter in particular was in no rush to get our bill printed which made me late for my next meeting.
It’s a shame about that waiter because it sullied an otherwise great meal.
The food was amazing but we checked in and were told it would just be a few minutes and they would come get us at the bar. When after 20-30 minutes we were still waiting we asked how much longer only to find out they gave away our table. They then seated us right away and the hostess bought our round of drinks, which was the right thing to do under the circumstances, but it should not have happened and had we not checked who knows how long we would have been waiting.
I've had many meals there, mostly dinners with a lunch and one breakfast. All were outstanding dishes until this night. My gnocchi was dense and either not fresh or overcooked. My friends risotto was okay while another friend loved his rack of lamb. Service is good and place is great. Will still give it another dinner try as the place has served great meals in the past.
The service was aggressively bad. Our server was both inattentive and generally rude. My wife and I have been to Tiny's many times since it opened, so this was a truly disappointing experience.
20% fewer people. Less air conditioning. More bathrooms. More tots. Find the earring. Bump that trap music louder.
Great atmosphere both upstairs and downstairs. A little crowded around the bar, but still a great experience. We all loved the backroom downstairs, very dark and cozy, and the fireplace provided a good warmth and ambience to the whole experience. Food was good, wine was better. Don't miss the KitKat dessert though! Service was also very-good, not overbearing, nor pushy in any way.
Tiny's is charming and friendly. Although I have only eaten there at Thanksgiving (it has become a tradition for us) I have found it to be a wonderful experience.
Excellent Thanksgiving meal!
I had dinner at Tiny’s on Thanksgiving. It was wonderful. The food was delicious and the staff was so warm and friendly.
Food was delicious but not sharing size. Very dim lit, noisy, crowded fast & only 1 unisex restroom. Wonderful dessert and dessert drink menu, app menu and entree menus so def something for every palate.
We made reservations for 8:15PM and came in a half hour early. We got seated right away. It became quickly crowded. So we where lucky to get the table before actual reservation time. Nice ambiance, friendly service. It's a little dark inside, makes it difficult to read the menu and to see what's on your plate. The place is very cozy and atmospheric. We had sweet potato gnocchi and the brussels sprouts. It was delicious.
Every dish was prepared beautifully and delicious. Service is excellent. Highly recommend!
My reservation request to sit in the main dining room was not honored. We sat at the front of the restaurants were people are in and out, including delivery guys wearing their helmets and box-shaped backpacks were picking up food. The food was not memorable. Biscuits were good though. I could have another one of that but you can tell there’s a lot of butter in it.
Overall we felt a bit disappointed. One of the drinks for the table was forgotten and cocktails came out way after food. Some people were happy with food, some a bit disappointed. Service was also a bit grumpy and impersonal.
Extremely high marks for cocktails however - these are absolutely excellent.
Food was awesome and waitress was very attentive. Cool little spot in downtown Manhattan!
Service was slow, drinks were good and cozy. But hot in there and mediocre food for the cost. Not thinking I’ll be going back.
Very accommodating service and best Moscow Mule I’ve had!
Delicious food, great atmosphere. A lovely gem of a place in Tribeca!
Adorable restaurant. Reservation was at 8:00, sat at 8:45, but we didn’t eat until 9:45. They comped a round of drinks, which was appreciated. Food was just ok. A fun night, but pricey and restaurant as a whole was disappointing.
What a wonderful find amidst the bustle of Tribeca. If you love an old, three brothers, NYC story Tiny's is the place for you. Great ambiance with a working fireplace in the back of the first floor and the stack of wood near the hostess stand. Service is attentive but not cloying and they make the most of their limited footprint. The house omelet with aged gouda was light and fluffy. Great chicken sandwich and the meatball was an absolute gem. The cheddar and herb "tots" should not be missed as you will never see tots like this again. Will definitely need to go back and try other menu items.
The meal was delicious and the waitress made the birthday guy feel special so thank you
Breakfast order included 3 orders for overeasy eggs and bacon. Eggs were fried hard; bacon was one step above raw; service was slow. A diner would have been better quality for cheaper price.
Great food, great service, great vibe. Will definitely go back!
Great food would definitely return!!
Avoid sitting upstairs. Way to loud to carry on any type of conversation.
Tater tots and meatballs are excellent apps and lamb was one of best I have ever had
Pleasant, but lunch 'specials' would be a nice option.
Several local places offer a drink, dessert, or a combination of features that can be an alternative to the a la carte menu.
Super-cute place, but average food and below-average service, plus expensive for what you get. There are just too many other charming spots in NYC to repeat this one.
We were seated upstairs next to the bar where it was very noisy. I sometimes wonder with open table reservations whether you get the least desirable tables. I had the rack of lamb which consisted of two fatty lamb chops ( hidden by the extremely low lighting). My husband and daughter had the unfortunate skirt steak. To be fair meatballs appetizer was amazing as were the Brussels sprouts but our French fries (which were quite good) did not arrive until we had basically finished our meal.
I had a 1 pm reservation, and we were seated at 1.15. I make reservations at lunch because I, like most working people, have a limited amount of time in the middle of the day. The food is good and the menus is interesting, particularly for vegetarians, but I will think twice about coming here for a set time again.
Menu is very limited for Brunch and they are not willing to make ANY changes. Not our kind of place.
Super loud, family inappropriate music. Slow service for being one of 3 people in the restaurant. Had to wait for my coffee to be refilled for 5 minutes and then had to ask for it ultimately. Great interior, but ruined with the type of music. Food was small for the price. Tater tots and coffee were good though.
Great date spot! Food was delicious, nice wine selection (especially for a bar that seems to be so oriented towards cocktails). I had the branzino and my husband had the salmon. The brussel sprouts were also a great addition. We did the Kit Kat for dessert. Service was great as well. Definitely recommend!
Horrible service, waiting about 20 min for second round of drinks. Then they only gave us one of the two we ordered. The swine one came 10 min later. Server ignored us most of the time. Others eating around us made comments on how bad the service was for us and felt bad. Thanks couldn’t explain it but just wanted to leave. Took forever to get our check also.
Excellent service! The cocktails and good were exceptional !
Great spot, great food, great service! Can't wait to go back.
Scones were amazing, service was really bad. It took over an hour to receive our food and no apology from the waiter. There also were a lot of families with young children not controlling them well - I guess that may be to be expected at brunch in TriBeCa?
I met my sister and her husband for drinks. The trio of us were seated at a two top and shared one entree. Everything was great, The only thing missing was my amazing supportive boyfriend Damien.
Great experience & great food. Took my daughter there for breakfast for her birthday. Nice portions & breakfast special between 8:00 - 9:00AM was a very good deal. Would definitely recommend.
The place was busy, as usual, but the food was just average. The Bronzino was good but everything on the plate was unappealing, especially the variously cooked carrots.
Atmospherically Tiny's is challenged. Particularly the noise level is barely endurable, helped in no way by the strangely loud, pulsating music. Suggest they eliminate the music entirely, or, if needs be, play soft classical albums. The lights are so dim that one must use the votive candle on the table to read the menu.
We will likely not be back.
Tiny's is one of my all-time favorite spots! Highly recommend!
