Tiny's & the Bar Upstairs
Butter Poached Onions, Dijonnaise
Apples, Carrots, Celery, Gouda Walnuts, Maple Mustard Vinaigrette
Love this place, would marry the restaurant. 10/10 chefs kiss!
cute, cozy restaurant. Portions were a little bit small, but the taste was great!
I went back to Tiny's for the first time in many years, and had the most amazing experience. I sat in the back room by the fireplace. It was a cold, blustery night - so the room was incredibly warm and cozy. The butternut squash flatbread, kale and apple salad, and scallops were all just delectable. I finished with the Kit Kat bar, which was so sweet and satisfying. It may be a tiny restaurant - but it's a giant little gem.
I love this place. I’ve lived in NYC 21 years and there are so many places that are good for awhile then quality drops. But this place is always consistently excellent- food is creative, menu changes but is always great and perfectly cooked, drinks are great, service is always friendly. I keep coming back and am always happy!
We had unbelievable service, everyone including the waiter, hostess and the manager. We were placed upstairs but since my girlfriend had wanted a fireplace, we asked if it were possible to move downstairs and once a table opened up, they fit us right in. We ordered a bottle of wine that said one price on the menu but when the check came it was significantly higher than what we thought it was going to be, so I nervously mentioned this to the manager and she completely apologized and applied the refund within seconds. They were so accommodating and polite and I am so happy we went here. I will definitely be recommending this date spot. Thank you very much to the staff, you guys are awesome.
Tinys is cozy and perfect💕 we waited fir our tables to the bar upstairs with delicious cocktails and met friends for dinner at a table downstairs by the fireplace. The ambiance is 💯
I was really looking forward to trying Tiny’s but was very disappointed by the service. I had a reservation for 2 people at 1:30pm but ended up waiting for about 40 mins. When we finally got a table it was AT the front door. The service was ok. The food was really good though!
The hostess was quite unapologetic when our table wasn’t ready and told us to come back in 20 minutes. In that time they clearly gave away our table. The hostess didn’t even remember me, then told me two minutes, then five, then just a few, then five, then finally she said it was ready but disappeared for a few more minutes to do who knows what.
It was like that Seinfeld episode at the Chinese restaurant.
My server was nice but the bar lost my drink order. The couple next to us ordered after and received their drinks long before we did. We kept running out of water.
This is not the Tiny’s I remember.
Really great experience. Service was awesome, food was delicious and the ambiance was warm and welcoming
Great food and fun setting.
Portion sizes are way too small.
Had high hopes, but it did not hit the mark.
I wish the lunch menu was a bit more diverse and extensive.
food took a long time. waitress was not very attentive.
Saw this restaurant via the Michelin guide and mistakenly thought it had a star so I reserved a table for a friend's birthday. Later realized it only had a recommendation but the reviews were good so I kept the reservation and am so glad I did! It is indeed tiny but it was warm, cozy and the sound level was very manageable. (The music was great too.) Most importantly, the food was excellent! My friend had tuna tartare and the burger -- both exceptional. I had the meatballs, which were fresh, hot (temperature-wise) and light, topped with mozzarella and served with an ample side of garlic bread. It was practically a meal in itself. I also had the ravioli with ricotta, mushrooms, pea shoots in mushroom broth. It was fresh, very light (a good foil for the meatballs) and absolutely delicious. We each had a "palomarita," -- version of a margarita. The only disappointment was the citrus blueberry tart for dessert -- not the best flavor (the lemon whipped cream was a little overwhipped and tasted a bit like butter) , and the crust was quite blonde -- it seemed like a frozen dessert that had been thawed. However I would go back to Tiny's in a heartbeat and highly recommend!
Great ambiance, cocktails, and food open late. Attentive service!!
Cute place with good food and service. Would definitely come back.
One of my favorite places I’ve ever been to in New York. The staff was so polite and friendly, the food was incredible, and the ambience was just lovely. I stumbled upon this place and I’m so glad I did— I’ll definitely be back.
We arrived just as brunch was finishing and everyone was very accommodating and the food was delicious. A must the next time we are in the area.
Great food and cocktails. We went for brunch and they had some issues with the AC as it was leaking and we had to move and then our check got messed up but they told us after we had already paid. Seems like new staff, but overall was a good experience.
Loved it. I adore this place. So cute, great food & phenomenal cocktails!
There was a child at the table next to us - super disturbing, and I am not sure this place is for children.
In addition, where we were seated was so close to the next table and just in a tight area.
Service - SUPERB
Food - SUPERB
Best duck anywhere!
The coffee machine was broken when I went for Sunday brunch. When I asked for tea instead Plus the waiter replied that the kitchen was too busy to field orders for tea!
Food was in no way bad but also in no way memorable. Service was OK.
The food was mediocre, the lights in the room kept going on and off, dimming and getting brighter, the service was very friendly, but slooooooow. I know that times are hard for restaurants post-covid, so I'll cut some slack, but seriously, how can they not have coffee for brunch? If the machine breaks, figure something else out.
Great food & loved the drinks! Overall a good experience.
The food was very mediocre for the price. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t good. Had the clams and the burger.
The tables were placed way too close together - not ideal during covid and makes it difficult to enjoy a dinner out when you can hear every word of your neighbour’s conversation.
I wouldn’t go back nor recommend this restaurant to anyone.
kindest staff ever, and delicious food. love this place!
Wonderfully imaginative Modern American food.
Great food, staff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, it was painfully loud. I'd still go back, but earlier perhaps.
Took about one hour between appetizer and entree. No apology from the waitstaff or explanation (we had to ask for our food). Food was inedibly salty and the dishes that were edible were just fine - definitely not worth the price. Mystified as to why it has such positive reviews
Great! Food and service were excellent!
Too expensive, small portions. Great service
They were out of many of the menu items which was really disappointing. Found out it was because they were closing the next day for remodeling which is fine but customers still deserve to have a good brunch.
We got there a half hour before the dinner opening but the staff allowed us to sit down and have a drink. The food was absolutely outstanding and the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered the filet and scallops and they were cooked perfectly, even as we asked for a different kind of coating on the steak. The marinated olives, tomato salad and mozzarella were fantastic too. Would love to come again next time I am in town. Never got to see the upstairs unfortunately but I'm sure that's lovely too.
Appetizers were great. I regret the ravioli.
Very cute and delicious. Could be crowded if the back dining area is full.
