Great sense of hospitality. We went for a birthday party and the postcard and dessert really added a nice touch. Steak was fantastic and who doesn’t want an ode to Blondie?!
We wanted to celebrate our 2 year anniversary and were able to do just that with the fine staff at Tiny Lou’s. We enjoyed our meals and dessert, cooked graciously down to the detail.
William was an incredible host, Mac graciously came out to meet my party, and the food & wine were exceptional! None of that mentions the ambiance or decor, which were also lovely. Cannot wait to tell others and return!
Seafood was delicious. Rooftop was chill. Decor was eclectic and cute.
David took great care of us. Loved the food,?service, ambience, selection & location. Recommended
Food was beautifully presented and delicious. Enjoyed the table side pouring of the duck consomme’ but it should have been in front of the diner not on the other side of the table. Excellent server.
Tiny Lou's is amazing. Period. Delightful renovated space in the iconic Hotel Clermont. Polite, knowledgeable, and attentive wait staff the likes of which you don't see much of these days. Lovely craft cocktails. The trout and black bass dishes were outstanding and the desserts were decadent. Make your reservation now before everyone finds out about this gem.
Excellent service and good Americanized French food. The usual (steak frites, escargot, french onion soup, etc.) but very well done.
Bread was perfection, sourdough toast was average, deserts were prices of art and delicious. Ambiance was my fave part. Very fun
Hard to park. Bread was good. Ordered burger and fries. Fries were cold.
My only complaint would be parking. There was no valet available when we arrived. We parked on a side street. If the restaurant wants to compete this needs to be addressed.
It was unclear if valet was free if we ate in the restaurant. $10 an hour is a bit steep. Our meal was over $200.
We have been to Tiny Lou's several times since it opened. We have thoroughly enjoyed both brunch and dinner here. The cocktails are great - the Hula Hoop is one of our favorites. The food is absolutely delicious and among the best in town. We've tried nearly everything on the menu here and have loved everything we've tried. Standouts are duck consomme, the onion soup, crab crepe, all the veggies (the sauces are devine), the steak frites and the pork chop. There are no bad choices here! Tonight, unfortunately, our meal was less than stellar because we were seated next to a foursome who were ear-splittingly loud. Not just a tiny bit loud, but DEAFENINGLY loud. The man in the party (there were three women and one man) was whooping and hollering ten times louder than any patron downstairs in the Clermont Lounge! I have never in my life seen/heard anything like it - and I've been to a lot of restaurants and bars. We spoke with them privately, but they never toned it down. Clearly the level of noise these people were creating was even bothering the restaurant's staff. A few of the staff came by gape-mouthed when the hollering was going on, yet no one said anything to these people. It was a real shame because the noise at this level ruined our evening. (Just to reiterate, this noise was WELL above regular, lively, loud restaurant noise and conversation.) If you're looking for a nice place for dinner, this might not be it if you're unfortunate enough to be seated next to a party like the one next to us.
The view from the rooftop bar in the hotel can't be beat. It's a perfect pre-dinner cocktail spot. We arrived early for our dinner reservation so that we could visit the roof. We were there on a Saturday night and the place was packed. Parking was very confusing and took some time. The staff in the valet line, rooftop bar and restaurant seemed aloof and overwhelmed. If you have a allergy to bees you should stay away as they have an active bee population on the roof. They don't serve mixed cocktails with and sort of simple syrup or sweet ingrdients until after sunset as a result. As for the dining room at Tiny Lous I found the menu to be limited. The food was underwhelming and if your looking for a gluten free option you will be restricted to only a couple of items. There is cheese and or bread on just about everything. the dining room is extremely loud. Out server stumbled with the menu and confused our order (which he corrected). It seemed to me that there is some confusion about whether they want to be a cafeteria/diner or a fine dining spot. It's a themed scene and very contrived. The menu needs a lot of work.
Server was fantastic, and the food was amazing. I really had no complaints, and will definitely be coming back.
I had the greatest experience at Tiny Lou’s. The food was great and I truly don’t think I could have picked a better location for my birthday brunch.
Fun and good food. A bit loud.
A great time at Tiny Lou's. Overall we had a great dining experience. The Vidalia Onion soup was outstanding but a small portion (wish it had been more). The Pork chop was great and a nice portion size. The sides that came with the chop were great but small in portion size. Trout almondine was great and a perfect portion size. The atmosphere was energetic and a bit loud, so if loud is a concern you may think twice. Would highly recommend going to Tiny Lou's. Get there early so you can enjoy the rooftop bar and lobby bar beforehand.
Great food, good ambiance and the rooftop is good for an after dinner drink!
Dave is always great! Must get the onion soup and the bread service!
We had a pleasant brunch in the restaurant, which harkened back to the days of " fine hotel dining". The "over the top" floral wallpaper added to the ambience, as well as the mid century & eclectic decor. The omelet was outstanding.
Great vibe. Great food. Congrats Clermont. Go to the roof top afterwards.
Tiny Lou’s is exceptional! Every dish we got was incredible and absolutely delicious. They definitely deserve all the amazing reviews they have received. Our server William was wonderful and made our overall experience even better. He was very knowledgeable and knew just how to interact with us to make it more special. Chef Jeb Aldridge is so creative and knows how to perfectly blend flavors together. Every dish we tasted was better than the last, if that’s even possible. The entire staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed by coming by and introducing themselves. You can tell the staff is happy to be there. What a fantastic experience! We will be back as often as possible!!
The food was ok - pork chop too salty and the white cream sauce poured on the steak was odd. The pastries, although technically good, did not match the “casual French bistro” atmosphere...and too gelatinous. No management presence: no table touching, no greeting, no nothing. Not worth the hype.
Every single thing was exceptional. Tremendous value for the level of food
We celebrated for my birthday and it was amazing! My friends and I all work in the industry and it definitely is refreshing when we get taken care of really well. Adrian was phenomenal and Brett came out to say hello! All of us said we would be back all, and I am sure of it! Thank you for the great experience
Great food and fantastic service. The skyline view from the rooftop was fantastic.
We had a nice meal, but what really stood out was the service. Carter was attentive, easy-goIng and ready to make our experience great. The atmosphere was just right and we enjoy the mix of patrons. There were couples, families, friends. Everybody’s welcome at the Clermont Motor Hotel!
We had the most EXCEPTIONAL server, I believe his name is William. Comprehensive knowledge of the menu, sparkling personality, and perfect etiquette. He also accommodated our difficult check breakdown request without complaint.
The food was delicious! The ambience was cheeky, swanky, and classy!
We will be back!
Solid experience on all food & service levels. Service was upbeat and friendly. Everything was tasty. 1st cocktail (rum in coupe) was a little too warm for my liking (needed more muscle & ice slivers IMO) but didn't want to fuss over it. My only critique (besides ice slivers LOL) was the ambiance / design.....it feels a little bah humbug compared to other areas of the hotel. The front desk is really meh. Feel like opportunities were missed on this level and it's kinda a shame. Plates, however, adorable.
Exceptional! The food was absolutely incredible as was our service. We were so impressed we are going back this weekend!
Wonderful food! We were treated so well! It was our anniversary! Our waiter David was great! Best part -the delicious dessert! We met the talented pastry chef! We will be back!
Service was excellent and food was great. Two couples and we said we would ALL come back. The Steak Frites and the Trout Almondine were our favorites. We enjoyed the unique deserts as well. After dinner we walked through the rest of the Hotel and went to the top to enjoy the view.
We had such an incredible experience! Way to go Tiny Lou's!!! Everything was so delicious, and we can't wait to go back! Thank you for such an amazing dinner!!!
We looked forward to seeing the hotel renovation and trying the new restaurant. we had a nicely comfortable booth table. our server was charming and knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu. the noise made it impossible to have a conversation and was offensive much of the time. our table was backed up against a staircase where patrons go up and down between the restaurant and the lobby. it is not carpeted and each person on the steps sounded like horses passing by. the other noise factor was simply from other patrons in the dining room, perhaps related to the tables being relatively large and, thus, people were shouting to be heard at their own table! much as i liked the food - creative french - i won't go back unless they do something drastic about the noise.
Such a great experience! Great ambiance for a birthday dinner :)
We had terrible service. I was extremely disappointed by our waiter. Most likely will not return.
Rooftop bar was scenic, but poor drink choices and wine was warm. That was disappointing after we had such a great meal.
My ratings also took into account having drinks on the rooftop following dinner. Both the food and drinks up top made for a wonderful night!
Phenomenal experience again. Everything was delicious. Definitely one of my favorite places.
