Tiny Lou's - Hotel Clermont
The best fine dining meal that I’ve ever had in Atlanta. The octopus and beef tartar were spot on! The wines are excellent and at a good price. Great ambiance and attentive service. You valet for free and they’ve completely overhauled the hotel from what I recall. Highly recommend it.
Tiny Lou’s is terrific for foodies AND scenesters!
Best way to spend my birthday with friends! Service, ambiance, food and drinks were flipping perfect!
This is my new favorite restaurant in Atlanta! Very cool vibe and the food was outstanding.
This was a treat. Located in the not-so-desirable neighborhood, this hotel is being restored and the clientele is loving it. The atmosphere is in the "smoky speak-easy style". Food was based on French cuisine and it was surprisingly tasty. We would go here again and again.
Great experience for Brunch! Food was on point, everything was fantastic.
Interesting space, well executed cocktails, nice wine list, very clean bistro fare. Our entrees were very delayed but service made up for it.
What a great dining experience! The food was fantastic, the service outstanding. Bravo!
The Clermont Hotel redo is exciting and fun to be in. Tiny Lou's is a beautiful restaurant and the Lounge upstairs is the place to be! However well-intentioned, our house cocktails in the restaurant were all disappointing. The "Mudcrunch" was mostly absinthe as a star player, not a second fiddle. Overwhelming.
The "Stripper's Real Name" was so bitter as to be undrinkable. The "Grounds for Divorce" was just that. A garnish of thyme didn't help the flavors at all.
Appetizers were all over the board temperature wise - Diver scallops had great flavor but were lukewarm. The Duck Confit Crepe was also cool without any of the promised charred turnips and black truffle. The Gnocchi Parisienne entrée was cold, with a poached egg to pull the dish together. It was an overall disappointment. The Trout Almondine was lukewarm, with very sparse vegetable accompanyments. The Day Boat Fluke was hot (finally a hot dish!) and our guest enjoyed his meal. The Clermont Burger was lost on the plate by a huge serving of room temperature frites. The burger itself was overcooked.
Desserts from the lovely cart are easily forgotten. A brownie 1/4" thick has a sticky caramel sauce and raw peanuts thrown across the top. A waste of calories. We so wanted The Ode to Blondie to be spectacular. It wasn't. The brownie bars were plain, overcooked and dry biscuits, the creameux was tasty! as were the banana slices and the sugared hazlenuts. A small scoop of buttermilk ice cream added nothing to the overall plate. This was not worth the effort or the price.
We will return to Tiny Lou's for the experience, not for their cocktails or food. But for the great vibe of the room and very fun evening we had !
The food was great. and the service was super attentive and accommodating (friend with dietary restrictions.) But it is definitely on the pricey side, and crazy loud at 8:15 PM. Noise level is definitely a drawback, but otherwise, two thumbs way up.
We came to celebrate our shared birthday. The food was delicious but our server Jovana really made it a great experience. Very knowledgeable about menu without selling you on the priciest menu items. She visited with us and made us feel welcome in a very authentic way.
Service was excellent as well as everything that we ordered
We went to have a family dinner celebrating my husband’s birthday. We arrived 30 minutes early hoping to check out the roof top but it was closed on a winter Tuesday night! Should have figured that. They were able to accommodate us and seated us promptly. They brought the birthday celebrant a charming card signed by everyone! The food was interesting and absolutely delicious. I think we ordered half the menu. The only glitch was the service sputtered to a crawl at the end and we waited way too long for dessert. They did bring us three extra ones to compensate but it was getting really late for a “school night”! We will be back! It was very fun. Look forward to seeing the rooftop!
Great experience overall. The waitress went above & beyond - she was phenomenal.
Was hoping for a great meal.
They were out of chicken so I ended up with appetizers for dinner. The arugula salad had way too much ground pepper on it.
The octopus tenacle tasted very plain.
The bread was over sold to us. Not worth the $6.00 price tag. Nothing about the food would make me want to return.
The server however, was top notch.
Brunch was a good experience, with the food exceeding our expectations.
Dave gave us great service from start to finish as we caught up over great food and wine! Wonderful meal!!
Flavorful and perfectly prepared food. Host Carter's service was a pleasure and made us feel special on our special occasion. Ambiance is very warm, cozy and welcoming. All the staff are very friendly. Definitely coming back.
First off, the customer service is excellent. The Brussel sprouts are a must, and the food proportions leave you feeling neither hungry nor stuffed like a turkey on TGiving. A must see for vintage furniture and ambiance, great romantic date place!
Great food and chef prepared food keeping food allergies in mind. Terrific service, ambiance and what an interesting hotel! Definitely will be back next time in ATL.
Excellent New Years Eve meal! The foie gras was incredible. Best dessert menu in the city!
Food and service were both phenomenal. Could not have asked for a better meal.
Food was incredible. Service was great. Would definitely return. The steak frites are some of the best I’ve ever tasted. I ordered a special duck and it was really something.
Food was wonderful and the service was exceptional! Definitely going back - and soon.
Very sexy, dimly lit restaurant. Great for date night. Our server was great and the decor is so cute.
Loved the food and the ambiance!! And as an Atlanta native, I’m so happy that they’ve made the Clermont nice but also stayed true to its roots, and preserved the Lounge downstairs!!
Possibly the best over all dining experience in Atlanta. Superb food and service and an exquisitely designed interior which provides more than a hint of a former tawdry spot in Atlanta's history.
I booked this reservation as a back up plan in case what I originally wanted to do for my anniversary fell through, and I cannot be happier that those plans changed. Tiny Lou’s ended up making our anniversary dinner more than just a dinner date it was truly an exceptional dining experience that transported us into Parisian café. The service was excellent, the food absolutely divine, and the atmosphere heightened the experience. While it is definitely a place to celebrate, I’m sure we will be back for a cocktail and dessert in the near future.
I had been once before and the food was just ok, it sounds better than it is. Hoping it was a fluke and the food would be better and because it is an interesting
trendy setting with a unique backstory, we took some out of town guest there. The food was very disappointing. The drinks and wine were fine although
the selection of brands and the wine list lacked depth. I would not go back. We had the toughest steak (the steak frites) that few could chew. The scallops
were mediocre. We wondered if they had a real chef. The best part of the meal was the bread. I left embarrassed that I took my guests there. We ALL thought
the food was awful.
On the other had, the hostess, the wine person and server were delightful & very gracious. A special shout out to our server Hailey.
All around simply amazing! The staff, the food, the drinks.
Outstanding dining experience. Start to finish an amazing meal. Attentive and friendly service. Feel like you are the most important table in the restaurant. Throw back feel in decor/service. Food on point. Well thought out dishes prepared to perfection. Delicious, smartly plated food. Great opportunity for sharing plates. Desserts are not to be missed. Absolutely stunning. EATER Best New Restaurant. Well deserved award. Must be experienced restaurant.
Food and service were fabulous but dessert was AMAZING! Chic but not stuffy.
Excellent food and service. Enjoyed the cocktails and dessert, too. More vegetarian options would be appreciated but otherwise great!
A nice date place, cute with a calm and nice atmosphere.
We thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening. The bar is totally a throw back and feels intimate and cozy. Cocktails were well made and served elegantly. We went downstairs for dinner and it is a really nice environment. If you have hearing issues you might ask for a table in a quieter spot as there is a smaller room off the back and the left side also seemed quieter. The food is really really good. We had Brussels sprouts and scallops as an app that the table shared and they were very very good. We also had the whole sea bass which was prepared perfectly and delicious. The flavors did not overwhelm the fish but complimented it perfectly. The only fail was the octopus but thats Ok bc I never expect perfection. Coffee and dessert also was a top score -- Go you will not regret it.
Delightful! We had drinks at the lobby bar prior to our reservation and then enjoyed wonderful attentive service from our waiter, Carter, once we moved downstairs.
Definitely recommend getting lots of various appetizers to share - the foie gras was so buttery and tasty - and then splitting the burger, which rivals Marcel’s burger in flavor. Our dessert, the Royale, was beautiful and chocolaty and the perfect note to end the meal on.
The only thing was that the vibe downstairs wasn’t quite as romantic as I had hoped; the lights were just a tad too bright for that, but the lobby bar was the more of the dark sultry feel I was looking for.
I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Spectacular food matched w great service (thank you Sonia).
We had an excellent dinner
SUPER TIGHT! Beautiful food, excellent wine list, and smart, thoughtful, and attractive staff.
A night out with the hubs to celebrate christmas. Service was wonderful and the food was amazing. Had drinks upstairs in the bar beforehand... the whole experience was amazing. Tasty cocktails, and a well executed inspired menu. Everything was simple but then done to perfection - one of the hardest things to do. Love.
