Tiny Lou's - Hotel Clermont

Friday and Saturday: 5 to 11 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Very good all around
Everything from start to finish was excellent. The server Brian was knowledgeable and attentive. The duck and octopus starters were delicious and inventive. The venison was tender and cooked perfectly and the trout was exceptional. The desserts look like a work of art and taste incredible. Very complex and layered flavors that are to be savored.
Ate dinner and brunch and both were superb! The dinner was exceptional for its unique menu, high quality and engaging staff especially the hostess and wait staff. Would recommend the hotel as well as Tiny Lou's!
Great food and service. Chef prepared our table an extra dish since we had met the chef at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens
What a pleasant surprise! The AJC reviews were absolutely correct...great food. The beef tartare is fabulous, as are the trout and steak frites. We had good martinis as well. Only negative is the noise level. There were groups of 4-8, and all of those people were too loud for us to have an easy conversation. Of course, any restaurant with hard floors, walls, and ceilings will be loud. The staff signed a birthday card for my son, whose birthday was the cause for our celebration. He really enjoyed that welcoming note. We had wanted to go for drinks on the roof, but the rain prevented that. However we went up to the roof, and saw what is a beautiful location with a striking panorama of the city. Finally, I would recommend that the hotel improve the gift shop on the main floor. The shop needed a fill-in in t-shirts, as well as other items with Hotel Clermont on them that could be purchased as souvenirs from a unique venue.
Outstanding service and food you can't stop eating! Will return again and again!
20 minute wait for table with a reservation. Service was painfully slow. Had to wait 15 minutes for car and we were the only people waiting. It was so loud no one could hear each other at our table
It was nice very and we enjoyed our night. Food and service were great.
Went for a birthday dinner. Staff was great (even had a birthday card for my friend). Fun and slightly funky vibe for the restaurant.
Excellent food and service. Maddie was our server, she was personable and conversant and took personal care of our food preferences and allergies!
Wish we lived in Atlanta to come here more often!
The overall experience was exceptional. However, ordered the Venison cooked to the chef’s preferred temp and was told it would be medium rare. It was served rare- straight from the woods rare-even after sending back. It was graciously removed from the tab. A $50+ bottle of wine ordered by another table was erroneously added to our tab. It was, or course, removed. A couple of small hiccups, but still an excellent dining experience.
Went for Sunday Brunch. Good selection, great atmosphere.
Took wife for her 50th. Awesome place to just get away and have a date night
Excellent evening at Tiny Lou’s for my birthday. We had William as our server and I can’t say enough amazing things about his service and knowledge of the menu with food and wine pairings. Exquisite! Truly a gem in our city and will definitely be back!
This was my first time to Tiny Lou's, which I didn't know existed until seeing it mentioned on a list of hot new restaurants in town. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Our server, David, was attentive and engaging without being intrusive, and was thoroughly knowledgeable of both the food and drink menus. He recommended cocktails that both my friend and I enjoyed. The scallop appetizer, as he promised, was phenomenal. I just wished there'd been more than two, though I'm aware it's an expensive item. The octopus was flavorful but rather chewy. I know that's usually the nature of this beast. Yet from the recommendation, I just thought the chef's preparation would allow their version to require less jaw exercise. The trout entree was beautifully prepared: tender, mild, yet still a bit meaty, with thin crispy skin, and on a bed of cut haricot vert (with something else I liked mixed in, but don't recall what it was). The wine list by the glass, from which we ordered 3 different whites, was varied and unique. The only real fly in the ointment was the dessert, which completely baffled us. For a supposedly 30 layer cake, it was very uncake-like: The creaminess of it was nice, but the layers had the feel and consistency of firm and chewy pastry dough. I'm sure it's the perfect example of what it's supposed to be, but was just not like anything I'd tasted before. I'll try something different next time. We simply mentioned to David when he inquired that it wasn't to our liking and he immediately insisted that it come off our bill. That was not what we aiming for, and certainly not necessary, but classy nonetheless. As a side note, the rest of the staff at Tiny Lou's were very friendly, and the place in general has a very energetic yet welcoming vibe. I'll definitely be back and am recommending it to friends.
Took my husband here for his birthday and loved everything about Little Lous and the Clermont. We began the night in the lobby bar (the rooftop was closed for a private event; something I hear happens often- so be aware of that). The lobby bar is cozy, sexy and romantic. I honestly didn't feel we'd missed out on the rooftop, I liked the lobby bar so much. We found a little corner to canoodle in and ordered a couple of Negronis. Then we headed downstairs to Little Lou's where our table was waiting. The wait staff were professional and on-point. Instead of singing a dumb birthday song, they brought a card by that they had all signed! The food was delicious. This is old-school dining at its best. This was a splurge and worth it.
Outstanding experience from the upstairs host stand, to the restaurant host stand, a birthday card at the table hand signed by the team, the food, the desserts, ooh la la ! And one more finishing touch, a phone call the day after asking if everything was good, who does that?! Very nice diverse menu. We share apps and sides, and oui, dessert. We’ll be back to try more.
I’ve heard it’s madness on the weekends and we dined on a Thursday evening.
Really enjoyed dinner at Timy Lou’s. Food and service were wonderful. Unfortunately my guest and I had to shout to converse. How could this continue? Consider finding a way to have guests chat quietly and laugh with just a simple chuckle. LOUD! But yummy.
Remembering this location's long history as a raunchy strip joint that my Emory friends would go to as a joke when slumming, I wanted to see the redevelopment.
This was one of the best brunches we have had in a while. I really appreciate how cognizant they were of my allergies, I felt very safe eating there. I honestly wanted to go back the very next day!
The staff made my friend feel extra special for her birthday and it meant a lot to her... The menu is in French so ordering was complicated but three good was great.
The service was amazing. Adrienne was amazing she catered our experience and was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. The food was beautiful and tasted as good as the presentation. We will definitely be back. Be sure to save room for dessert! It’s amazing!
While we enjoyed Tiny Lou’s for the most part, we were seated at a table where the air was blowing so strongly, they tried to turn it off but couldn’t, so we asked to move tables which we family did.
The food was good generally, but not great...one had striped bass, one had steak frites, and 2 had trout. The french fries were undercooked and cold. The bread, which cost five dollars extra, was cold in the center and warm on the outside.
We enjoyed seeing the hotel, newly renovated, and had fun, but would not go back for the food.
always good food and great staff
Would recommend to anyone
Could not have enjoyed our anniversary dinner more! From the moment we walked in the entire staff went out of their way to make our day feel special. The handwritten card from the staff made my night, we will be back for future anniversaries and special occasions!
Food was also excellent, unique and flavorful with great portion sizes. Drink were generously proportioned and delicious!
Thank you so much Tiny Lou's! Our best anniversary dinner to date!
Jennie & Matthew
Great expierence. Great cocktails. Good food. We will be back!
Service was great!
Food was fantastic, as was the service. This is not a place to go for a quiet dinner.
It was so loud that the five of us could barely hear one another.
My brother took me for a belated Birthday which was noted when we made the reservations. When we were seated the hostess handed me a card. What a nice touch! And then our waiter also made mention of it. We had a really great time. They did such a great job of fixing up this hotel. To me it's like if John Waters created the space...very art deco but with photo's of some of the dancers so it's got that quirkiness to it. Speaking of John Waters...our waiter William would give him a run for his money in the awesome mustache department. William and the other staff were very attentive and you could tell they wanted you to have fun and enjoy your meal. The only thing I didn't love was the arugula salad...the vinaigrette was a bit salty but other than that everything was delightful and very well presented. I like my steak medium rare and it was perfect and tasty. I don't usually like sauces on my steak but the sauce du Clermont enhanced it and did not over power it at all. Cocktails were tasty and well made. Already booked a table for coworkers in December and requested William if he is working. Just a perfect evening.
The beef tartare is delicious and so is the Lupe de Mar and trout. Can't wait to go back!
great job! we will be back. they did a great job all around and service was wonderful.
Anniversary dinner at Tiny Lou's, including rooftop cocktails before and after. Service is on point, decor is amazing, and the food is amazing. Just make sure to save room for dessert.
While I wouldn't say don't go there, I would have to have a compelling reason to return. I went for Sunday brunch and the energy in the place was very flat and no one seemed to really want to be there. Maybe dinner would be different and maybe this is not the Sunday brunch place but this was a rare visit to the neighborhood and a friend who knows food recommended this place.
The sandwich I ordered was beautiful to look at but not beautiful to eat. The toast was not toasty and way too thick with at least 5 times the amount of bechamel you would want. The flavors were good and the egg was perfectly poached so clearly, some care went in to make a sandwich that was not also beautiful to eat. My date had a nice omelet and I get a sense there is some real talent in the kitchen but kind of like the hotel, maybe just a little more adult supervision is in order to go from sometimes cool to reliably great.
Service was incredible, absolutely outstanding. Had a wonderful time enjoying the ambiance. The menu was creative and all of the food we had was very delicious. The wine selection was nice and serve had great recommendations for what we were looking for. We have a delightful time.
Service went above and beyond, from the hostess to the servers. The food was excellent, it's hard for me to get excited about trout but I am so glad I took a chance on theirs. The rest of the menu has some wonderful options as well, all French based cuisine.
Their desert was outstanding. We ordered the layered crepe cake, something I've never tried, and it was far more delicious than I imagined. I didn't have high expectations as they could have easily ridden the gimmick of being located in Hotel Clermont but they did no such thing.
Best resturant in Atlanta and I think, top of the list in the country! The entire experience from the moment you walk down the stairs till you get back into your car, is spectacular. The service is exceptional- the personal attention to details is one of the many things that sets this resturant apart. The staff and their service is seamless. Maddie and William are two of the best staff, I’ve dined with.... knowledgeable, friendly and gracious!
Now let’s talk about the food. Chef Jeb Aldrich is taking French cuisine and some of its classic and added a wonderful breathe of fresh air to them... refined and beautiful but you will be scraping and wanting to lick the plate with each dish. The construction of each dish is not only a beautiful piece of art to look at but you can tell with each bite, the precision with the fusion of flavors And is what sets Chef and his resturant apart! Qui Chef!
The onion soup is to die for. The desserts must not be missed. The staff is very well trained and happy. This place is awesome!
Birthday. Was lacking the finer touches to make the night worth celebrating with Tiny Lou’s
Service was impeccable. They went above and beyond when they ran out of a dessert. The wine list was very sophisticated, the food delicious and the price tag was reasonable considering the quality of the fare!
