In July, Tiny Lou's was the 1st restaurant we dined "in" after the COVID SIP. It was a good experience, starting w/our arrival. As we drove up, the young man waiting outside said that there was no valet due to COVID, but that we were welcome to park in the street or parking lot. We came in & got seated & were pleased to see we were far from other tables, isolated in a small room with only 1 other table, which in fact was not occupied. We had a very nice dinner with very good service.
Our return was not nearly as smooth. We didn't try to valet, but slowly drove down the street & ultimately turned into the parking lot because we didn't see any open spots on the street. When we pulled into the parking lot, a young man questioned us. He told us we were supposed to park in the street, but then said it was okay for us to park there since he had space. Mildly annoying & not nearly as smooth as the last time, especially since I checked the website to see if there was any information on parking and did not find any.
When we checked in, the hostess brought us to a large booth in the dining room. At 1st it seemed like a good seating, since we were 2 people being put into a large booth. However, both booths on either side of us were occupied & in fact although we sat in the middle of our booth, we were well w/in 6' of other diners with masks off. This made me feel very uncomfortable.
The food and drink were very good! We were pleased overall with the food. Our server was very pleasant and welcoming and we enjoyed having her; she obviously works very hard. There was one major miscommunication that impacted our service. The server apologized when she realized and although it detracted from our enjoyment, she got everything else just right.

We started with a cocktail, bread service and Brussels sprouts. Ordered the steak frites which was probably the best I've ever had. Fries were delicious, steak was sous vide and cooked to perfection and when combined with sauce it was hard to stop eating. Shared a side of the mac and cheese with our table which was also great, but we didn't need it as the entries were plenty. I regrettably had no room for dessert.

The ambience was amazing and the food was so tasty! My fiancé and I got the Brussels sprouts, the steak frites, and the bouillabaisse, and we enjoyed every bite! We went to the rooftop afterwards, and it had great views of the city! Definitely coming back here.

Food did not live up to the reviews. Steak frites did not have flavor. Chicken was plain. This was not a meal I would come back for. Great atmosphere and service.

Great dinner with my wife at Tiny Lou’s. The food was incredible and our server Ashlynne did a great job of taking care of us. Had the Steak Frites and the Whole Roasted Loup De Mer. Also don’t pass up the Crepe Cake for desert.

Food - phenomenal
Drinks - fantastic
Service - subpar

This is sad too because after going here for New Years 2020 we had a great time and wanted to support during Covid, but the service has taken a hit and even though the food and drinks are amazing because of the service I’d have to question returning-sorry!
Fix the service!!!!!

They aren’t great at social distancing. There are two halves to the restaurant and instead of using the whole restaurant to keep people spaced they put all guests on one gang of the restaurant. Didn’t make sense to not use the available space. Pre-pandemic habit was my guess.

Tiny Lou's is an intimate setting rather hidden away... in the lower level of the Clermont Hotel. It is rather noisy though... don't plan on an intimate conversation. The food is excellent... from hors d'oeuvres to dessert!! Our service was very good, but a little slow. Overall, we loved it and have already decided we would return!

The "Bouillabaisse" is on point" and a "Cotes du rhone brunel de la beccassone" is perfect to wash it down. French-American cuisine. It was the server's fault for talking me into trying that delicious cheesecake. A spot for a romantic dinner, a quick stop, or a night out with the peoples. One of the ATL's famous landmarks with terrific service.

My boyfriend and I dined for his birthday and enjoyed it. However, parking was full so we had to park elsewhere and walk. I requested our appetizer come out prior to our entrees, yet everything came out at the same time. The lighting in the bar area is fine for drinks, but too dim to distinguish food. My chicken was great, his pork was OK, and dessert was fantastic!

It has been way too long since we have had a meal in a restaurant. Our choice was Tiny Lou's because it has never disappointed us or our guests. We had also read their Covid policy, which included a temperature check at the entrance. We opted to eat on the early side but the restaurant was filling up by the time we got our main course. William, our requested server, was juggling quite a crowd, but he did not miss a thing...except for my husband's birthday...which was quite understandable, and the maitre d backed him up. After all, a well run restaurant is all about teamwork.
The meal was lovely and was the icing on the cake for a fun day...we need more of these!

I dined there this weekend and felt that the restaurant did a decent job with social distancing measures. The thorn in the evening however was when my date asked our waitress if a dish could be made dairy free or if were any dairy free options on the menu. The awkward reaction from our waitress made for a really uncomfortable rest of the evening. Upon this request she stared at my date for a uncomfortable amount of time without speaking then responded “...no” before leaving our table to check in the kitchen. Eventually she came back and pointed out what my date could have which essentially ended up being plain chicken. I will admit that the chef assisted later on with a special dessert. But no one should be made to feel that I’m comfortable over dietary restrictions that they cannot control. I would understand a chain restaurant being caught off guard with such a request but I just had higher expectations for a restaurant of this caliber.

Proper social distancing measures in place, we enjoyed the French bistro atmosphere. Our server was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Strong cocktails, good wine, great steak frites (ask for extra house sauce for the steak and fries).

Sadly, we had a hard experience at Tiny Lou's. The food was incredible as was our server. However, we struggled with everything around our "dining experience". We are fortunate to eat at many amazing restaurants and are happy to indulge on nice meals. Our experience at Tiny Lou's fell short despite the delicious food served, we would hesitate to bring clients or friends in the future. The hassle of getting our blocked in car when valet was not even an option was unacceptable. We stayed long past when we were ready to head home while we were trapped for over an hour trying to locate the cars that had blocked us in. The receptionist at the front desk presented a lame offer of a cheap glass of champagne and/or a beer but it definitely should have been more. Honestly, a $25 gift card would have brought us back and prompted another expensive meal as we always order abundantly because we genuinely enjoyed well prepared food. We would definitely have taken an uber if not for covid. Too bad we will head to other favs in the area for future dining.

In the age of Covid, we have been dining out less. At Tiny Lou's, we were pleased with the precautions they've taken for distancing tables. This was the best meal out (not that we've had that many lately) in a long time. Our host, William, was friendly and helpful with suggestions, specials. He is wonderful to talk with and always offers insightful observations.
We shared small plates, that were coursed out nicely, and a bottle of wine. Their wine selection is good. The food was absolutely stellar and made our night. The hamachi escabeche was amazing; the foie gras nicely whipped, beautifully plated and served with toasted brioche. We enjoyed the crab cake also, and found the "small" gnocchi serving to be not all that small and also well-rounded with seasonal vegetables. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor.
Worth a visit every time.
