Excellent menu and authentic food in a unique restaurant ! Highly recommended, staff is really nice.
We just celebrated our anniversary at Tinto and had a lovely time in this gem of a restaurant. My husband has celiac disease, and there are so many fabulous gluten free options here! Our waiter was most helpful with that and also suggested some lovely wine. Everything was first rate and artistically presented- our favorites were the octopus and the scallops!
Great time! Get the lamb
Wonderful small plate options. Creative cuisine. Excellent tastes.
Excellent tasting menu and wine pairing wonderful as usual. Very friendly and efficient service and ambiance. My preferred at Philly.
Exceptional Tapas. We had the tasting menu which was just fantastic
Nice selection of tapas options. Wine was good but overpriced. Great service.
We had a 9 PM reservation, our table was not ready when we arrived. We had to wait about 15 minutes. They finally gave us a hightop table next to the crowded bar which many patrons kept bumping into. Our servers were fantastic and the food was delicious.
Server was very knowledgable, recommended some great wines. Food was amazing. Will definitely be back.
Spectacular! We have the chef’s tasting with wine pairing. We love Basque cuisine (love the Basque Country (Bilbao in particular - and it’s regional food). Tinto is phenomenal!
We went to Tinto on a recommendation from a friend and LOVED it! The food and service was great. Mike, our server, was very attentive and gave great advice on the wine and food. We will definitely go back.
Dining at Tinto was a wonderful experience in every way. Michael, our server, was personable, knowledgeable and very helpful. The food was excellent. We shared the Brussels sprouts and mushrooms and the omnivore had the small plate with meatballs. All very fine. Would not hesitate to heartily recommend this restaurant.
Small plates = firing away at the menu and sharing around the table. Great experience.
Food was excellent as usual - service was excellent - Michael was very good and attentive with good advise.
We were seated in basement - dark with an unusual seat to table combination. Not very comfortable to eat - seats were more lounge like - put the seated too low to the table.
Wonderful experience. Outstanding food and service
Authentic Spanish food and excellent variety of wines- great place overall (but expensive)
The whole experience was fabulous. Our waiter gave good advice on how to order and the combined the small plates in courses that went so well together. We started with the beets. They were out of this world.
Waiter was very pretentious to my one guest which affected what we ordered. Was fully aware that it was a tapas bar but he did not make an effort to guide on reasonably priced wine that would allow us to order multiple plates to prioritize the food. I had been here before and know the routine. I am hoping it was just this waiter and not general customer service.
Wonderful way to spend an evening. The food was outstanding, we had small plates so experienced many flavors. Scallops so tasty cooked just right, pork belly was perfect.
First time back since Tinto opened. Same good quality and it’s now twice the size. Staff was very friendly and helpful with the quantity of our order which is always a bit tricky with Tapas. Only real complaint is that the pace and timing of dishes was a bit quick
Service, creativity, presentation, food all excellent
Great food and service.
My husband and I went here for a date night dinner. Every dish that we ordered we loved, and service was attentive and helpful with their recommendations. Atmosphere was dark and cozy, perfect for a romantic dinner.
Tasting menu is a must! Each dish was more creative and tasteful then the next. Just suggest that they slow down service a little.
The tasting menu with wine pairing is the way to go. We had an outstanding dinner. Don't be afraid to sit downstairs. We have been there before and eaten upstairs. This time we sat downstairs. Quieter and not as lively but it was the perfect location to focus on our dinner companions and the food. We had an excellent evening.
We love Tinto. Our favorite restaurant in Philadelphia. Small plates. Tasting menus. Wine flights. Outstanding food. Great service. This trip we decided to make our own choices, with a little advice from our server, and it was great. Standout items include the duck confit with cherry, the foie gras torchon, and the wild boar bolognese. Lively fun atmosphere.
Restaurant was nice and service was very good. Food was good but not as good as we had anticipated.
This was one of the best meals that I’ve ever had. I’m so glad that we chose the chef’s menu so we could try a little of everything. Great tapas, wonderful atmosphere and our waiter Vlad provided great service too.
Always love coming here! Great food and service! They will always cater to your needs, and can customize your meals based on your needs/allergies, etc.
Qe had a wonderful experience at Tinto. We sat at the bar and we were able to have a noce conversation because music is not loud and nice. The somelier invited us to tey sone of their wines and the personnel were very friendly. Also we were able to do our reservation last minute and it was very nice thatvtjey were able to accomodate us on a Saturday evening.
Food is fantastic and well presented. Also they have a wonderful list of wines.
I really recommend this restaurant!!
A really nice place. Great servers, an interesting menu and very good food. We will be back for sure.
Got there early bartender (female. Jess?) So welcoming and friendly and more than willing to help me decide on my non California wine.
We where seated at a high top as requested with a great view of the chef’s creating all the phenomenal dishes. Chestnut soup incredible! Can’t wait to go try try the fantastic looking scallops. I guess we have another favorite restaurant in PHL!!!
This was our second time coming to Tinto and I would just like to say that this experience was better than the first. Don't get me wrong, the first time we went was amazing as well but they out did themselves this time around. We decided to choose our tapas this time instead of doing the chef's tasting. Our server, Mike, gave some good recommendations that we went with but most likely chose what we had when we try the chef's tasting. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert afterwards but it was definitely worth it.
The food was fantastic! Certainly a place where you can taste a variety of foods that work well with each other. The restaurant also fills up very quickly, so make a reservation to secure a seat!
Phenomenal food. Best Spanish food I have had in years. Service was excellent as well.
An excellent culinary experience, with excellent food, service, wine and atmosphere.
Tinto is really really good - not much else to say.
First off, the food was excellent. We had a party of 5, including my parents who are 70+ years old. The seating was so uncomfortable. We sunk down on our seats. We asked to move. The new table was better, but close to the front door so my mom had to wear her coat. I used my coat as a cushion for my back.. The dishes where mainly for 2 people. So we had to cut everything into 3 sections. I wish our waiter would have told us to order more than one of each item, since we asked him to make sure there where five dates wrapped in something. You think he would have thought to make sure there where 5 on each plate. The sangria was watered down. We asked for a second pitcher without ice, and it was better. It’s nice a nice restaurant to take a date, but not for parties of 2+ people.
I felt the $340 bill for 4 was not worth what we received.
