The dinner menu changes seasonally to capture the flavors of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are abundant–and clearly marked on the menu. Tinker Street, which serves guests 21 and older, has array of wine offerings be it red, white, sparking and everything in between.

Always such great service, food, and ambience! Great start with a little pour of prosecco. Talk with the somm and get some good wine recommendations. Seriously, those shrimp & grits though... woah! Super killer.

This is a great restaurant to entertain for business or take your spouse to for a special occasion. I have been here twice and each time the service was great and the food phenomenal.
We had what I would consider a "dining experience" at Tinker Street this past weekend. The service was superb from our entrance into the restaurant all the way through leaving. It's rare that a restaurant can pull off a true team-approach to service, but Tinker Street does it. We were taken care of well by the entire staff, with our primary server leading the way. They were helpful and amiable, but not intrusive. Special kudos to Tara.
Additionally, the food was superb. We were able to treat our meals as family style and taste test a great diversity in items. Priced fairly for fresh, unique, and delicious appetizers, entrees, and deserts. One of my new favorite spots in Indy.
Wonderful dining experience. Try the tater tots. Not your grandmother’s tater tots by any means!
The servers were great with tons of recommendations based on the kinds of wines and foods we said that we like. We were in a rush trying to make a show, and once we told the staff, they were amazing at getting us in and out in time. Plus, several tried to make sure that we knew there was wine left in our bottle when we were leaving in case we wanted to take it!

Went last year and loved it. Menu has changed quite considerably and they stuck us in the converted outside room and froze. Tables were only 6 inches apart and super noisy. I will not be back.

Tinker Street is one of the top 3 restaurants in town. I have never had a bad experience there and love the food. The quantity of food is right for the dollars spent and the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The tables are a little close together (as they are in most restaurants these days) but we usually end up having a fun interaction with whomever is next to us.
The food was very good. What we really appreciated was the service rendered by the wait staff. It was very evident they wanted guest to enjoy their experience.
We did a couples dinner date and had a party a 8. It was quite packed (probably due to Valentine’s Day) and not a lot of room to wait, but they were very accommodating and had a server for drinks while we waited.
I recommend having a reservation, arriving a few minutes before the reservation and make sure your entire party is on time, as you will not be seated until your entire party has arrived.
For the size of the party, we had exceptional service, tabs were all accurate, and food was delicious.
Our first time visit was a home run, the food was awesome. Def would recommend this place esp if looking for something different.

In town for a conference and wanted to get out of downtown and into a neighborhood. We made the perfect choice with Tinker Street. The staff was warm and knowledgeable about the menu. The wine list has something for everyone, from a nice glass to a splurge bottle. Our dinners were exceptional. The Valentine gnocchi/paella plate was creative and delicious and the shrimp and grits perfect. We picked the fried Brussels sprouts at the suggestion of our server and he was right.
Everything was fantastic! Food, service, environment all great. We had the scallions and the pork belly. Tinker Street is one of the best restaurants in Indy!!!
This is the third or fourth time I've been there. Every time is a treat! I've even brought friends there who IMMENSELY enjoyed the unique twists they put on things. What a special place.
The staff was very attentive without being intrusive. Just the right balance. It was clearly a comfortable, well- balanced service.
The food was excellent. We had very nicely presented crab cakes as a starter. They were very tasty and just the right size for a starter.
I had the shrimp and grits which is their signature entree. Great taste with just the right spiciness.
My wife had the baked raclette and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Not up to the usual (admittedly high) standards - went early and maybe the kitchen hadn’t gotten into a groove? Burnt out from a hectic Valentines? Everything (except the raw oysters ;-) seemed a little over done. Brussels sprouts were mostly leaves...beef bourguignon was dry (made ahead and then sauced?) and skate wing almost blackened...still tasty but the vegetables it came with kind of charred.
Been to Tinker quite a bit and it’s still a neighborhood favorite, but it kinda seems to be slipping...too bad if so...will give it another shot sometime soon and report back.
What a great meal! Service, ambiance, and food was 100% from start to finish. Josh gave us superb service....attentive, informative, friendly, and thorough. This place is a must for anyone who wants an excellent experience.

We loved every minute and every bite! The bubbly beginning is such a nice little touch. The grapefruit salad was SO good and different from any other salad we've had. I had the shrimp and grits, SO MUCH FLAVOR...wow! My husband had the beef bourguignon and he loved it as well. And then, omgosh...we don't normally do dessert, but we went here as our early Valentine's Day dinner and splurged a little. We had the ricotta doughnuts...nom nom nom :-) It was just a delightful experience all the way around. Yummy and fun, what more can you ask for?!

I absolutely loved the atmosphere of Tinker Street. The setup is amazing. The servers were awesome, attentive, patient (my party unintentionally ended up staying past closing conversing and enjoying the time). I ordered the Shrimp & Grits which immediately took me back to my southern mom’s homemade grits—perfection!
Tinker Street never fails to delight. The food is always innovative, tasty and better than one has the right to expect. Perhaps the best thing about Tinker is the staff, including Reina, Chloe, Kale, Cris, Kyle, Rico and especially their Head Server, Ashlee. She is knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and flawless in her presentation. I would follow Ashlee even if she left Tinker and went to McDonald's, as Ashlee's presence would make it worthwhile to eat Big Macs.
This was my first time dining at Tinker Street and was pleased that they accepted reservations and have on site parking.
There were plenty of wait staff to have every need met and questions answered. They were all well trained and knowledgeable. I would think it would be difficult for staff because there were ingredients that I had never heard of before.
We started with an appetizer-a very generous portion of specialty Brussels Sprouts- totally amazing! For my main course, I chose the cauliflower steak. Really unique and a delightful mix of flavors, even for a non-vegetarian.
