Great service , good food
Very limited for vegetarians which is what my wife is, so we don't come as often as we would.
Always a great afternoon stop and the cocktails are amazing!
We had a great experience, yet again, here! We sat on the heated patio on a chilly night and had a blast! Our waitress was attentive and funny and fabulous. The food was delicious. Fresh oysters, delish steak frites, good wine... what more can one ask for?
Our reservation was scheduled for 6:15 but we were not seated until 7. The hostesses were unapologetic and rude.
When we finally got to our table our waitress took our order and did not come back until she brought the bill. Someone else served us our food. We had to hunt down the pitcher of iced tea to refill our own drinks.
Our bill for 4 people was $100. Totally not worth it due to the service. My parents still left an 18% tip although very undeserved. They still realize people are trying to make a living.
Don’t plan on going back anytime soon. I booked this reservation for my parents because they were coming to visit. I felt bad because I picked the place and it turned out to be a real bummer.
We eat at Tin Roof regularly. We don’t mind waiting when we don’t have a reservation. This visit however we had a reservation and had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. We minded. Our waiter took our order in a timely fashion but the kitchen was extremely slow in getting out the food —40 minutes for regular menu items. And sadly they forgot one part of our order.
Each time we go the kitchen seems to get slower and slower. Not sure why. The flavors are good
Loved the food. Pizza was yummy and a decent size. The Indian-spiced hummus is so great. It's good a place to share food. Love the reasonable prices of the cocktails, and will definitely keep me coming back. Thanks for accommodating our large group. We all had a good time.
I usually always go here with my best friend and sister and the experience is always great. This last experience was not that great. Our server was absolutely terrible. After our drinks were dropped and our order placed, our server only came to our table twice. Once we were pretty much through with our entrees and she came to ask if we were done with the appetizer(we had been done with it before we even got our entrees) and we said yes. She grabbed it and before we could even ask for boxes she had turned around and left. We had to ask another server for boxes and he was very nice and even cleared the remains side plates from our appetizer that she had left. She then dropped the check off . We had wanted to tell her it was our friends birthday and that’s why we were there but never had the chance since she was never there. We had put in our reservation that’s what we were there for but guess the hosts didn’t tell her. I know people have their off day as I was in the service industry but it seemed like she was ready to be off. We could see her doing her side work. But obviously I get everyone has heir off day so we still tipped her 18%. I couldnt bring myself to do 15% as a previous server. However, I did want to point out the highlight of our night was the lovely bartender. We went there after we checked out because my friend wanted another cocktail . That’s when I told her it had been my friends bday and that we weren’t able to tell our server and she had asked if the dessert was dropped at the table and I said no so she made sure to bring one out. She was super friendly and so attentive. I wish my receipt had the bartenders name but it did not. She definitely saved the night and the birthday celebration. I still had to give my overall experience a 2 Star since the service from our server really put a damper on the celebration.
Valentine Days dinner
Strange tableseating, uncooked Brussels, slow service, random dishes
Food was decent. My turkey sandwich was super dry and bland though, i had to smother in blue cheese sauce to get it down. My issue was with our waitress who messed up on two meal orders, admitted she made a mistake when she brought said meals to the table 10 -15 minutes after everyone else started eating yet did nothing to try and compensate for it. Even offering a complimentary dessert or whatnot would have went a long way. I enjoy this place especially for lunch but because of this waitress i will probably not come back again for some time.
Luv this place ! My bf was craving the Sea bass and I the salads .. Shaun was our waiter on the comfy cozy patio , he was kind , helpful , funny and made our experience even more pleasurable !
Good food, all three different meals. Attentive service. Sound was loud. The interior tin roof is anything but sound absorbing. The restaurant is decorated nicely.
Cocktail excellent, soup too salty.
Need better desserts!
Nice Thursday night dinner with friends
Had a delicious dinner on Valentine's Day with my husband. We didn't choose from the special Valentine's menu because we couldn't agree on a shared entree. However, we loved the beet and ferro salad as well as the scallops I ordered and my husband's short ribs. They were well prepared and generously portioned. Wait staff was very efficient and friendly.
Server was great, professional, warm and efficient! Tiger shrimp was our favorite. Wish they had sangria though
This is usually one of our favorite places with reliable delicious food and service. However on valentines night, service was slow and our male waiter was distracted and inattentive. Our entrees came out almost 40 min after the salad & appetizer. my bouillabaisse was cold with the broth semi coagulated.
We came in for Valentines Day after having our rehearsal dinner here last year. We decided to do the price fixe Valentines Day Dinner with the 32oz Porterhouse. It was absolutely delicious! By far one of the best meals I’ve ever rated here!
Big Thank You to Mr. Manager for helping me with my original reservation (patio sitting). :)
Love your place and food.
Girl at the Service desk was not very helpful.:(
Great place for dinner
I and 10 other people came here to celebrate a coworker’s birthday. Tin Toof had plenty of options for all the different tastes amongst my group (vegetarian, picky etc). The braised beef sandwich was absolutely amazing and service was very efficient. We all would love to go back again.
Great food and service as usual. It was a birthday celebration and they comped a dessert that was delicious. Highly recommended.
Our server, Ryan Sylvia, made our time special (again). :)
I was a big fan of Tin Roof until few month ago. I don't know what they did to their chef and staff, but it is not working anymore!!! Eventhough some of the menu items are the same, the flavors have changed. Big time. Even the desserts, (now bigger servings) are missing the mark. I tried (really) to get into the 'new' standards but it's not going to happen. Sad to loose what was one time, a great local restaurant!! I hope they do something about it....
always good, always good service too0.
Love the patio.
Would go back for the lemony/roasted Brussel Sprouts on charred bread alone! They also make a mean vodka martini! We will be back!
The homemade lasagna looked more like ravioli. We sat outside because of the noise level inside
Accommodating staff. Sat on the patio at lunchtime. Beautiful day and quieter than inside. Waitress was very good. Made every bit of the lunch enjoyable with great service and attitude.
We ate lunch on the patio which was really nice. I got the lunch special, and the turkey sandwich had dry turkey breast, hard bread, and no dressing. The Caesar salad had old lettuce with one crouton and little dressing. Too bad the food did not match the nice ambience.
