Scott our waiter was above and beyond with great service. Very nice guy who will assure our return. Great greeting and BD celebration. Servings are large. And good.
Our waiter was very attentive, kept checking up on us to make sure we had everything that we needed. Brought bread to our table when we asked for some. Allowed us to take our time to go over the menu. My husband was interested in the Sea Bass, our waiter highly recommended it, glad he did because my husband was very pleased with the Sea Bass.
We met for a Sunday lunch and had such a wonderful time. Food and service was excellent.
Still the "go to" restaurant. Good crowd for lunch, patio dining was weather-perfect. My only thought concerned the lunch half-sandwich, half-soup, half-salad: maybe it was what I ordered but the sandwich seemed rather dry and not so flavorful. Soup beautifully presented and delicious. Salad ample and also savory. Prior $10. cost now increased to $12. - continues to be a good bargain.
First time visiting. Our waiter, Scott, was wonderful! Loved my Thin noodle lasagna!! Husband loved his pappardelle. We both enjoyed the complimentary Brussel sprouts!!
Really good food, not over done like a lot of restaurants do now. Service was friendly and quick.
It’s great for get togethers. All our friends love to meet up here because there is something on the menu for everyone. Our waiter Lucas was outstanding and so helpful! Wine list was solid. Lunch delicious. Dessert was fun. We will be back!
Food and service were wonderful. A bit noisy though. Overall, a great place.
A great family place with delicious food. Very child friendly. Service was excellent!
The food was good as usual. I liked that they served the full menu and a V-day special.
My husband and I went for Valentines Day and had the best time!!! We arrived and were seated within minutes! Samira (Sam) is the BEST!!! She made excellent suggestions for wine (we got 3 sticks Pinot Noir) and it was delicious. We also got the Valentine’s menu and let me just say... best lobster I’ve ever had! One of my favorite experiences at Tin Roof... I have been there several times over the past several years (I try to sit in Sam’s section every time!!!) and every time is better than the last! My husband and I agreed that it was the best Valentine’s Day either of us ever had!
Everything went great. We had a reservation at 7:15 for valentine's day and we were running a couple minutes late due to traffic, so I gave them a call and they held our reservation until we got there. Once we arrived we were seated right away.
The food was really delicious. I highly recommend the blue cheese haystack fries as appetizers, they were very tasty.
Birthday lunch was great
Working in LA for a month and wanted a place to to have dinner with a few coworkers. Nice staff and delicious food.
10/10! They know how to run a restaurant and take excellent care!
Signature brussell sprouts are killer. We keep coming back for them
Good food, good service, pricey
Exceptional meal with great service. Met every expectation.
Had the best apps. Initially brussel sprouts were a bit too charred, waiter resent order and the redo was delish!
The severs were attentive and friendly. I enjoyed the Curry Chicken Sandwich with a salad. Yum!
This restaurant is lovely, and the food is good although a side dish of broccolini was tough. We were seated early and really enjoyed the patio setting. Our waiter was very friendly, but mis-heard one order, and had some trouble removing something we did not order from our bill. We would definitely go back.
Solid family dining spot. It’s in the neighborhood, but somehow it never comes to mind. Took my wife and daughter here for a nice Saturday dinner. The crowd has a lot of families and meals with grandparents, out for special occasions. Which is a change from the trendy expensive Manhattan Beach eateries with overdressed singles and $15 cocktails. Food was really good, better than I remembered. We had the fish and chips, lobster ravioli, braised lamb pasta, caramelized Brussels sprouts, and shared the apple rhubarb tart with ice cream for desert. All we’re very good. The only hiccup was our miss placed desert order, which came 25 mins after we ordered it. The waitress Hunter handled it gracefully waived the charge. All was good. I’ll come here more often for sure.
We had a lovely lunch on the patio tried the bistro lunch which was so yummy and delicious I will definitely be back again
Birthday. Lots of good food and the drinks were great! Very accommodating
Picked this based off reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Seated promptly, friendly service, great food. And what a setting. The patio is so charming with flowing greens, twinkle lights and a fountain. I’ll be back.
Easy place to meet. Great food
One of our favorite places to go for dinner.
Food is great
Wine choice is also great
Service always wonderful
Definitely will recommend Tin Roof Bistro
food was o.k. the drinks were way way way to expensive for what they were.. lots of kids running around and the tables was right in the middle of all the hub bub.. I
would recommend this place for lunch..but not a nice dinner out for a romantic birthday.. very disapointed in the Tin Roff.
Went for Happy Hour with a few friends. Can always count on delicious Brussels sprouts!! The service was great and the food is always top notch.
Food was wonderful, m service was attentive but not intrusive. Patio was lovely and there was a chill in the air so they had heaters and offered us blankets when we were seated. We stayed and stayed and never felt rushed. Couldn't be better.
We had Darren at our usual table! He is great!
We have returned over and over to the Tin Roof for dinner and lunch. Food is always delicious and creative. Our last visit was unfortunate as our server failed to put our ticket in and we waited over an hour for dinner to arrive. To its credit, Tin Roof made it all great by providing dinner at no cost. Our service in no way should deter anyone from trying the Tin Roof. It is great. Our server was so kind and sweet. It was a mistake. The take away is that the Tin Roof is awesome. It cares about its reputation, its food, its service and its hospitality. See you at the Tin Roof!
Family dinner to celebrate wedding anniversary
"The staff at Tin Roof was friendly and seated us quickly. I asked the hostess if she could NOT seat us at a certain area of the restaurant (as we sat there on our last visit) and she took care of that request for us. It was my wife's birthday and they took care of our dessert for us. Food and service was great!
What a great server 👏👏👏 LUCAS! Very friendly and always with a smile he served us from lunch till 3 PM we were a loud batch but we enjoyed every bit of it
Tried the new eggplant hummus. Not only was there parsley on top of it, it was also in the hummus. It overpowered the taste of the eggplant.
The Tin Roof Bistro is our go-to lunch place with our friends. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is great and reasonably price - best deal is their lunch-time trio. Our server is most gracious when we stay and talk after eating.
Food was okay . Server Brian was amazing !!!!! Made everything worth it. Spicy shrimp was good. Hubby and I both had the salmon which was just okay. The server was the one that made the trip worth it . Drinks were also good! He was super friendly and joke with us .
Missed a step from the past. Grainy calamari, over cooked piece of gorgeous halibut and flavorless lobster ravioli. Too bad, a fun atmosphere.
We were seated immediately after arriving a few minutes late for a 4:00 reservation. Service was prompt and fairly attentive. My husband and I really enjoyed our entrees. My husband said the fish and chips were the best he’s ever had, and my scallops were very tender and flavorful. I also had the Mrs. Robinson cocktail, which was really good. We would not hesitate to eat here again when we’re in the area.
