Tin Lizzy's - Midtown
I had an amazing time. The food was brought to us quickly, was warm, and service was amazing! Our server was funny, and kind.
I had a really cool time at this place. The staff did an excellent job and the food was really good.
Great location for lunch or casual dining. Thank you!
Making the reservation was a breeze and the host was very warm and friendly. I honestly thought it was going to be a great experience overall. Sade was our server and it was clear she did not want to serve. She had a pen and paper but never once used it to take the orders for all the guests present, 6 people. We never got our appertizer and she got an order wrong not once but twice. We informed her the first time she apologized and went to the kitchen. We didn’t blame her took it as an honest mistake or maybe an issue with the kitchen. She came right back and it was still wrong. At that point my friend didn’t even want to eat any food from there. It was evident she, my friend, would eat whatever they wanted to not what she wanted to order. As the rest of my guests finished their food we were deciding what alcoholic beverages we would try or if we would see about any desserts, Sade brought us or checks never asked were we done it was clear she wanted to be done with us. She snatched up plates causing utensils to hit one of my guests in the arm, she never apologized or even said excuse me. Listen I know when and where I’m not welcomed or wanted and that was our cue we gathered our belongings and walked to Taco MAC for a much more pleasant experience. Maybe Sade was having a bad day, maybe she’s not usually like that and both may be true but she didn’t have to take it out on us. I’ll tell you what I would recommend trying another location or maybe even request a new server as for me I don’t plan on going back to that midtown location.
We ate on the patio and had amazing tacos, dip and drinks. The music inside was crazy loud but bearable on the patio and the staff were fun. Loved the food and enjoyed our first trip here on a trip into Atlanta for a wedding anniversary.
Nice casual dining. Simple menu. Good drinks. Perfect for a quick bite and cocktail.
The server was pleasant and accommodating and the buffalo shrimp appetizer was good. Outside of those two things, all else was downhill. The patio covering leaked.
Ambience left much to be desired, but it could have been that I was expecting too much. Two of the servers took it upon themselves to sit at the table with some guests, could have been they knew one another, while holding loud conversation.
Tables could have been cleaner. Main course was cold and tasteless. The server was kind enough to take it off my check.
Not a place I plan on returning to.
Our server was very nice and efficient; however, the kitchen didn't make the complete order and one in our party had to wait for their order to be made. We were a party of 6. No concession was made by the restaurant for the delay.
By far the worst service and experience I’ve had while dining in quite some time. Not only was our server non attentive but our food and drinks orders took close to two hours. Will never be coming back.
I had my graduation dinner here. The food was good, the music was good, and the service dealt with my party of 20+ adequately.
The service this time was disappointing. We sat without being helped for 10 minutes and had to ask the host if we had a waitress. She never refilled our drinks and we had to ask another waitress to find her to bring us our check.
We asked for a back area so we could be loud and this could not have been a better choice. Great food, great margaritas, great service, and could not have asked for a better place to be for a special occasion. Also great for a first date or any casual event with other people. Super nice staff
Good experience, with decent food and great service.
Took a while to get drinks and food, but good stuff!
Had heard of Tin Lizzy's, was expecting a better Mexican restaurant. Food we got was ok, no major complaints with the tacos I had. But the menu is very limited - almost all tacos and a few other items. Didn't have fajitas, burritos, chimichangas, etc. Lacked most of what I would expect at a mexican restaurant. So I guess if you want tacos I'd say go there for ok tacos. If you want other mexican food or better tacos I'd say go somewhere else.
Very poor food quality. We came with several friends the night of our prom and none of us cared for any of the food
Great night at Tin Lizzy's before going to the symphony. We each had tacos, all different kinds, each one was spectacular! Jammed to live music but could still have a conversation. Our server got us in and out quickly. Easy parking, awesome service, we'll be back.
Another Great Dinner at Tin Lizzys! Last Friday night, I brought a group of 10 people here for dinner and drinks (plus 3 extra friends who joined us later), and the food and service did not disappoint! We started with a couple of orders of the Three Amigos, then I ordered the lobster taco (my favorite), Baha Fish, and Korean bbq. We had a few rounds of beers, as well, and our server did great keeping all of our orders correct and coming out at the right time. We had a blast and will definitely be back!
Taco Tuesday at Tin Lizzys has got to be the best deal in Atlanta!
I love TIN LIZZYS food . That being said , this location seemed to struggle with service . Our waitress was super sweet but we waited over 15 minutes before she even approached our table. The place had maybe 6 tables all
Together sat. Our tacos came out discombobulated, but there was a gentleman that came from the back that made sure we eventually got everything we needed . My biggest complaint was we ordered my favorite "hot mess" as an appetizer , it came out 10 minutes AFTER getting our meals. Even after I reminded the waitress .
She never refilled our drinks either .THE FOOD WAS ALL AMAZING .
There is nothing good about this restaurant. Service - both wait staff and kitchen - was unacceptable. Messed up order then brought wrong replacement then didn’t bring the new one. When asked, the server said “oh, it must still be in the window”. It was and by then everyone else was done. The atmosphere is just dull and not appealing. Plus, the portion sizes were small.
It took forever to get food and drinks. When we received the food, it was cold. They looked to be completely understaffed. It was not a pleasant experience at all.
I have been to other Tin Lizzy locations and have had a great time. Service was good, atmosphere and food were good and staff great. Tin Lizzy's Mid Town is not that at all. We arrived at 7pm and were not served food until 8pm on a night (Sunday) where there were only 5 tables occupied (I counted) and the bar had 4 people sitting at it. The server was non existent after giving us a basket of chips (which were never filled up again). When our server did come with food around 7:45pm, it was for another table. At 8pm we finally received our food and was asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks for the first time. I could go on about the poor service and lack of attention but will sum this review simply by saying, if this was my first experience at Tin Lizzy's, I would never go to another one.
The food was just ok. The guy at the host stand was so disrespectful. They gave away my reserved tables and tried to seat us outside in the cold seeing that children was with us. When my party was finally seated, we had to ask for everything. Menus, utensils, drinks, even a waiter! The manager tried to make it better, but my birthday dinner had been ruined. I was embarrassed as I sobbed in front of my family and friends. I'm glad my boyfriend was there to cheer me up.
The best tasting tacos I ever had!! Love the perfectly seasoned chips. And our server (Nicole I think her name was) was very attentive and did a great job serving us.
Went here before watching the peach drop on New Years. Service was extremely slow. 30 minutes for the first drink to come to the table. The drink plus the Water glasses were empty. When he asked if we wanted another drink, I asked was it going to take that long again, he of course said no he would see to it. That drink took close to 20 minutes. Food was very salty but ok for the price.
