Welcome to Tin Lizzy’s Taco Americana, the refreshed Midtown location of Atlanta’s beloved Tin Lizzy’s Cantina. Inspired by the relaxed, breezy west coast city of Palm Springs—the desert oasis known for its mid-century modern architecture and California-cool lifestyle—you’ll be transported with thoughtful design elements. This is our second time dining at this location and both experiences have been the same. Food is great, but service is slow and employees are not attentive. When there are two tables only sat in restaurant I think we should be greeted within 15 minutes and have our drink order taken. But it usually takes 15-20 and then after ordering food plan to wait minimum 30 minutes plus for four tacos. Also after food comes out servers are nowhere to be found to so if we need anything else like napkins or salsa. Good food staff is nice but it just isn’t exceptional when you want to order another drink but can’t because server dropped off food and disappears for 30 minutes.

We are frequent visitors and this was the first time disappointed. My husband ordered a steak taco and had lots of steak. I ordered a steak quesadilla and had little steak and came out soggy from the salad versus crispy. ☹️

Our server was great. (Unfortunately I don’t recall her name). Only feedback was the quac dip was too smooth. It usually has chunks.

We had Mother's Day lunch with a large group of 12. Our waiter was amazing! He was on top of everything and super attentive. The food was amazing and the drinks were top-tier - compliments to the bartender. There weren't many people there when we first arrived, but it was pretty full by the time we left. I never felt like we had to yell to hear each other. Super cute decor. I'll definitely be back

Very large (+30 people) party threw off the kitchen for 90 minutes. Drinks took 30 minutes. Soup (was cold) took 45 minutes, and entrees (also cold) took an hour and 15 minutes. The restaurant should just close when hosting private events like this. I will not be back.

Service was lacking. Food was what you would expect from a chain Mexican restaurant. Ambiance was decent, however the booth we were sitting and had a giant rip in The vinyl which was somewhat uncomfortable to sit on. The top shelf skinny margarita was supposed to be fresh squeezed but taste more like roses lime juice. I'm definitely would not order again nor was it worth the $15 price tag. I will not be revisiting this restaurant nor would I recommend it to anyone else because there are plenty of other Mexican restaurant options nearby.
