Tin Lizzy's - East Cobb
We had a super nice waiter and awesome service.
Very kid friendly. Somewhat loud which is perfect for a potentially noisy toddler
The server and chef struggled with a gluten free meal. It was plain and tasteless and last time I went it was tasty and delicious. Knowledge of gluten free was bad. Come on smarten up. There are lots of celiacs. Make us more welcome
I think the poor overall rating is due to understaffing for a holiday.
The food got to us warm not hot and we hardly saw our waiter. To all the waiters, I think that was due to understaffing.
the ambiance was good. Lots of tvs and it was energetic. However, it's a mexican restaurant and they were out of all mexican beer. Also, the servers were not well trained on the specifics of the menu including a mezcal margarita. it's fine- but just know there seems to be a lack of training.
Quick service with a smile and yummy food!
nice and quiet low key place to meet with friends after work
I did not care for the new menu
The food is wonderfully fresh, and distinct from the typical Mexican fare at other places. The variety of tacos is superb...hard to choose! Great servers, and we had seats on the outdoor patio, where there was less noise.
I recently had dinner at Tin Lizzy's at The East Cobb Avenue with a group of friends and family members, ages 16-60. Tin Lizzy offered a great mix of a relaxing and fun setting, great music (soft rock), entertainment (sports channels on TV), good food/drinks, and plenty of space for our group at a triangle-shaped large table.
Had dinner with kids!
I have gone to several other Tin Lizzy’s locations such as Kennesaw, Perimeter Mall area one, and Buckhead and the East Cobb Locations Server service that was provided to myself , a friend and our kids was terrible. The lack of interest in our needs and the attitude presented when we asked simple questions such as what flavors can you put in the margaritas was horrible. Just from my experience as a server when I was in college, I truly believe that this server pre-judged our table prior to coming to greet and serve us and it showed in his delivery of service or lack of service. I saw this with server peers when I use to serve and it is a very ugly way of thinking...Because this particular server missed out on an easy tip. My Friend and I tip heavy for great service. My check was $45 or so her’s was $40 we both would’ve tipped our like $15 easily each. But the attitude and after delivery of food no check back or two bite rule as we use to call it on food quality and drink refills was skipped in this service experience.
Food is good - good value their detox margarita is good and not sugary - I will go back
great place for a quick family meal. fast and friendly service. kid friendly. good music that was the right volume to be heard but quiet enough to talk to the people at your table.
Valentine’s date with another couple
Great waitress- very attentive with large table
Always good food; service was fast and server was attentive.
Pretty blah food. I think a fast food Mexican place would have been cheaper and tastier.
The waiter was the best. He provided great service for us and helped my guest with menu information.
The only negative was our salad. Much to much lettuce and you needed s microscope to find the chick pieces
We found Tin Lizzy's to be a rather mediocre dining experience. The food was very bland, and it is disappointing that customers are charged for even the basic chips and salsa. Competing Mexican restaurants usually offer excellent chips and salsa on the house and also have much more appealing and varied choices on the menu. The service though was excellent, but we will definitely not go back again.
Food was modified as requested and came out hot and fast. Server was a bit slow on the drink refills. Live music was good but a bit too loud. They also have a nice outdoor patio. I'm sure we'll be back at Tin Lizzy's again soon. Nice, casual place close to home.
I have had several not so great experiences. I NEVER write reviews on restaurants, but this was by far the worst and will dissuade us from visiting Tin Lizzy's again. We asked for drinks for the kids many times, asked to order more drinks for the adults, asked for the check and for several other things multiple times. Not only did they forget to submit the orders for entrees 2 of our party, but we were pretty much ignored when we tried to order more things. I could tell that it was busy there, and my only guess is that the server was relatively new/overwhelmed. Probably not her fault, but yeah...no more Tin Lizzy's.
The entire dining experience was great from the phenomenal chips and queso to our two skillets with ample shrimp for one and ample buffalo chicken for the other. Very friendly staff, great decor, an attentive manager... just wonderful.
Salsa and queso are very addictive. The cowboy skillet was good both there and as a leftover.
Great service by the staff. Family Friendly.
Awesome, as usual
Had a great dinner here with friends drinks and food was great our server was amazing💚
Good food but very spicey
It’s been some time since we’ve eaten here, menu has changed, be sure to review online. We weren’t disappoint with our selection but it wasn’t what we expected.
The kids and I took Mom for Mother’s Day. Nice relaxing dinner.
We were extremely disappointed in the food and drink quality. It appeared that no one knew what they were doing. The waiter tried hard, but when the bartender and the kitchen messes up, there’s not much he could do.
We didn’t realize it but we had a new server. This was our second time at this location and we had a very similar experience our first time. It took 15+ mins to get our drinks, server was not attentive, the hostess was not friendly, food was mediocre, drinks were mediocre. Only thing that rectified the experience was the manager coming over to ask how we were. I informed him that we were waiting on our drinks and he went to check and comped them because it took so long for us to get them.
Our waitress disappeared before taking our order. We had to find another waitress to take our order which took way too long. The food was not very tasty at all. This was by far the worst Tin Lizzy's experience I have had.
Very attentive and friendly. Good food. Will go back.
Restaurant was extremely well run. Waitstaff and managerial team very attentive and welcoming. Food was good as well.
A beautiful Sunday afternoon in East Cobb should have clued the manager on duty that one server would not be able to handle ALL the tables on the patio. Unfortunately the slow, poor service overshadowed the overpriced, average food - but the beer was cold!
Poor quality food : the rice seemed to be leftover from the previous evening.
It’s really loud, but that’s part of going there. The live music was great!
Outstanding value and wonderful service. We’re definitely coming back
Very casual Americanized Mexican restaurant, kid friendly, average food. Think Applebees with a Mexican theme. Certainly better ones nearby. They don't even have fajitas on the menu.
