In 2005 four longtime college friends opened Tin Lizzy’s in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood, giving their guests a unique taqueria with service rooted in genuine hospitality. Tin Lizzy’s quickly became a popular place to work and to meet friends for refreshing margaritas and delicious FlexMex cuisine. Soon after, other neighborhoods wanted their own Tin Lizzy’s. This is a good neighborhood place. They appeared to be understaffed, however, the people serving are great. Nice beer and cocktail selection. I enjoyed the grilled mahi-mahi fish tacos.

Great experience at Tin Lizzy’s last evening. There were 5 of us who had dinner together including bringing a child. Good kids menu and the adults enjoyed great margaritas. Abbey was our server and she did an outstanding job! Try the TL quesadillas or any of the salads. Great food!

Met two other couples for dinner there last night. Food was great. Server did her job well. The table however usually holds only four but they jammed two of us down the end of the table on the corners. Not comfortable!

We had a reservation, but had to wait 10 minutes to get seated. Once sat down, we waited 20 minutes to get drinks ordered. Another 10 minutes to get the drinks. The server told us the kitchen took 52 minutes to get to food out. So by this point, we have been at the restaurant almost 1hr 30min just to get our food. Although the servers were pleasant, the service was not acceptable. The server made us use the QR code on the table to pay the bill, which charged us a mandatory "digital fee". No discounts or an apology from manager was received.

We went here for our daughter's 16th birthday. The restaurant was crowded but our reservation was honored and service was friendly and swift. Our server forgot one item we ordered and had to be reminded to pick up our drinks at the bar, but the food item was a side and the rest of it was hot and fresh!

I’d stopped in here for the first time earlier in the week for a quick lunch with my daughter. The food was great! She wanted to come back with the rest of the family so we returned for dinner Our waitress, Alyssa, was the same waitress we’d had previously. So friendly and helpful choosing from the many taco possibilities! We all enjoyed round 2 and will definitely be back again. I had the taco salad with steak both times - so delicious. If you don’t like kale, give this salad a try - it might change your opinion. I always avoid salads with kale as an ingredient because I’ve never liked it. This salad had a lot of kale and I loved it! The queso appetizer is quite good - creamy and perfectly spiced. For picky kids - their chicken fingers were a hit. Great family spot for a good meal at a reasonable price. Kudos to Alyssa for remembering us and even our orders!

Update: The manager reached out right away and find out what had happened. This goes a very long way. I think that she will correct this issue. The service was terrible. It was not crowded and it took 10 min for a server to take our order (we had to ask). The front host did comp the appetizers, which was really appreciated. However, every time the server came to our table she would ask if we needed anything - she would take one person's drink order and then walk away without hearing the others. The server did not clear our table when we were done, even though we were still ordering drinks. Also, the live music was great.

The food I ordered was mediocre. It read much better than it tasted. I had the Taco salad. Very boring. minimal amount of corn and beans but a nice serving of avocado.

We were there for lunch on a holiday and the restaurant was not crowded at all. Our server was friendly and attentive and the food was great. The margaritas were good, too, although they took a long time to receive. Our server said the bar was backed up, which we didn't understand since the place was almost empty. Not a big deal, though. What WAS a big deal is that in the middle of Georgia summer, it seemed their air conditioning was either turned off or broken. We had to resort to fanning ourselves with our menus. The experience would have been great if we had not been sweating throughout the meal. Hopefully this was an anomoly and they've fixed this issue.

The food was good but the service was terrible. We sat for 15 minutes before any one acknowledged us being there. The manager ended up coming to our table and was our waiter for the night. He did comp some appetizers for our waiting. Maybe the were short staffed.

No record of our reservation. Had three different servers. They tried their best. They were awesome. Just crazy communication. Drinks, drink and dinner. All three different servers who did their best but did not know about the other orders.

We made a reservation, arrived on time and were told that we would have to wait 30 minutes for our table. The host made no apologies for this and even acted like it was our fault for making a reservation at all. The food was good when it finally arrived, but the service was chaotic and occasionally rude.

I think they were short handed. I was seated, but the table needed to be wiped down. The young lady who was the waitress seemed to be running trying to do to much. No attendance at all. Had to keep asking for items, which should of given without asking.
