Tin Lizzy's - Downtown

They were not opened so I never got to use my reservation. No type of notice or anything.
Three of our eight food orders were wrong and needed to be returned. We did not have any special orders, just not what we had ordered. They brought out the correct orders within 5 minutes. The food itself, once it was correct, was average, good but nothing special.
The food was cold and under cooked. The service was terrible. I will not be having another customer dinner at this location.
Food was good. A bit noisy but they do have several TV’s . As for value... EVERYTHING is ala carte
Food was good. Made a reservation and still had to wait 45min past my reservation time
We had a reservation and they made us wait an hour. We got to the table and had a wait another 20 minutes before anybody served us. Bathrooms were very dirty. Margaritas were delicious
They were swamped and our server was amazing. It took a little longer for him to get to us right away, but we weren’t in a rush. He had a lot of tables and was cool, calm, and collect plus greeted us with a smile every time he came to our table. Food was delicious and over satisfied with the Trio Chip basket. A lot of guac, cheese and salsa for the price.
Way too loud, servers cranked the volume on the tv and didn’t respond when we asked them to turn it down. A panhandler wandered in off the street and approached us during our meal. WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS SPOT
After LSU won the Peach Bowl!!
Food was great, service was ok. Waited forever for service until eventually manager came to take my order. Everyone apologized for delay and thanked us for being patient
I visited Tin Lizzy’s the last time I was in town for DragonCon and knew I wanted to go back. The food and margaritas were excellent then & were just as good during this visit. The servers busted their butts to keep up with the massive crowds and while service was slow, that was to be expected from the sheer volume of people. Despite the craziness, our server was sweet and as efficient as anyone could be in that scenario. Great job, and I will be back next time I’m in Atlanta!
Food was ok, the waiter wasn’t very knowledgeable of the menu and with this being my first time at Tin Lizzy’s I didn't know what to choose, luckily i chose something decent. Not to mention, the cook cooked everything that i didn't want in my skillet, in my skillet, whole order was messed up! I wouldn’t recommend this location at all!!
Server was very nice and accommodating, but was a little “skittish” when interacting with us. We had some special requests that were accurately and happily honored. No issues there. The food that came out was just not good. It wasn’t hot. It didn’t taste fresh. Every bite I took of the steak in my skillet had so much grissle I was pulling it out of my mouth. The queso was runny and flavorless. Price was ok. Fried pickles were ok. Nothing that happened that night would make me want to go back. This location is in downtown Atlanta where I’ve been working extensively since May, and there are always sketchy people hanging outside the entrance to this place. There are lots of places to eat downtown. This one is no longer on my list.
It took forever for us to get seated even though there were tables in front of us that were empty. Took forever for the waitress to come over and even get our drinks. Took 45 minutes to get the food. And it took ever to get the check to come back to us so we can pay it and leave. We were in from out of town and we were suggested to this restaurant and I would never suggest it to anybody else
Our waitress wasn’t that great & our rice was hard. The margaritas were very watered down but overall okay i guess. Won’t return though.
This downtown location thrives on convention attendees, business travelers & tourists. Trust that you will receive lackluster service. It’s never improved. The food is great, but don’t expect a server to be attentive, refill your beverage or offer exemplary service. Just. Not. Going. To. Happen.
The plates that were brought to us were very dirty and sticky. It took awhile to get new plates and it hurt the experience at the beginning. The manager and server apologized and got the issue fixed and the rest of the night was great. Good food!
Super dirty restaurant. Bad attitude from the hostess. None of the waiters approached us to ask for ordering. Nasty table... not clean. Nasty floors. We had to leave.
One of the worst restaurants
Our server was amazing for a large party! All of the food and drinks came out in a timely manner and were correct!! Great experience!
Too noisy, crowded and chaotic.
Made a reservation for dinner at 7-but when arrived had wait over 40 minutes for the table.
Food was cheap which was nice but not that good. There are definitely better options I Atlanta!!
The food was mediocre and incorrect when it arrived at our table. We had to request waters from the server, he did not stop by the table to check on us or our food when it came out.
Apparently you still have to wait 45 mins - 1 hour even with a reservation. Terrible way of running a business. I would recommend going to Truva instead since they honor your reservation time.
Long wait. Too many people and too few bartenders and wait staff. Food mediocre. Won’t come back
Terrible experience, would not revisit this restaurant again
Happy hour menu could be better
Average place. Not what we were expecting.
Tasty Tex Mex, great service with knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, and reasonable prices. A quick walk from the downtown hotels. Our group enjoyed the lobster and mahi mahi tacos. Good fresh ingredients and the food arrived hot and quickly.
Our visit to Tin Lizzy's was OK. It was very noisy & took a while to get served our drinks. They were out of lime & lemons in a Tex-Mex restaurant - can you believe it? The nachos with extra queso were great, though. Overall, it was fine.
I have been to almost all of the Tin Lizzy locations in Atlanta and this one by far is the worst. Our server was not friendly he didn’t know the menu and they didn’t sing happy birthday to my daughter. The food was not hot and the rice was hard and cold. I’m pretty sure if the manager looked at our plates he would say the same. I expected way more out of this restaurant especially since it’s downtown right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The best thing about our experience was the drinks that we ordered. One last note... our server kept mentioning the price for additional menu items as if we couldn’t read or pay for our meal, so disappointing and we still left him a good tip.
Food was average at best. Our server was terrible. Waters not refilled, never offered a second glass of wine, never follow upped after food was brought to the table. Literally every thing we needed, we had to flag him down. He was very slow bringing everything requested (extra plates and water refills)
This was my first time along with several co-workers for Happy Hour. It was the first day on the job for our waiter and he was awesome. I didn't have any 'adult beverages', but my co-workers did and they loved all of the drinks. I had the Three Amigos appetizer and several tacos. The food was delicious. We also met the GM who was very nice and complimented our waiter. Great experience!
We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The service was pretty good. We just wish that chips and salsa would be included at a Mexican restaurant.
Made an open table. Walked to the location and was told they could not honor our reservation and we would have to wait 2 hours! Absolutely horrible customer service. Won’t be going back any time soon. Have eaten there before and service wasn’t great...certainly not waiting 2 hours for a mediocre taco!
I really enjoyed the three tacos I chose - VERY tasty! The restaurant is upbeat and aesthetically pleasing. We had a nice server although she wasn't particularly attentive. I didn't enjoy the house margarita and it took WAY too long to come to my table. Not sure if that was the bar or server's fault. I would go again and probably order a different cocktail.
The food was excellent and the staff were always very responsive. The noise level was high, but did not drown out how good the food was!!
They didn’t have enough servers and couldn’t honor my open table reservation in a timely manner
Best Mexican food in Atlanta.
Need more serving staff ... slow service overall food great
