Not great. We had brunch with family. The restaurant takes traditional dishes and changes something. The problem is that the change is not an improvement. I love creative cooking but somebody should taste the food before they put it on the menu. Biscuit dishes were dry. Dishes were cold. Cinnamon rolls were dry. I do not recommend his place for brunch.
We have been to this establishment multiple times and have always enjoyed it. This visit made us question if we will return which makes me sad. I hope they were just suffering from too many people and not enough staff!
We arrived a little before our scheduled 7:30 reservation and were not seated until about after 8:00. The young man serving as host was very nervous about the delay in getting the table cleaned and reset. He started to take us back twice and kept saying “any minute “ and “it will just be a second” - I assume someone got upset before we came in. Our server was generally unfamiliar with wine names, the menu, what was in dishes, and was extremely slow bringing water which we had to request in the first place. She apologized for everything before she k ew what we wanted. My husband ordered a daiquiri and after a long wait was told they didn’t have them?! When he told her he had had one the last time we were there, she said they must be out of them. Last time I checked they include only lime, simple syrup and rum. What bar does not have those ingredients? I believe it took 3 hours from arrival to receiving our check plus 10 -15 minutes more to settle. I love leisurely dining, but this just seemed disorganized. Our food was also of lesser quality than in past visits. My plate was missing an item and my husband’s “filet” medallions had fat and gristle. I have never had filet with either... it looked more like pieces of ribeye (except for the gristle).
Not the birthday dinner we had planned.
Very nice atmosphere for visiting/ everyone enjoyed their food. Slow to get check but friendly and knowledgeable wait staff
Wow! This place is great! The decor is super cool, the wait staff was awesome and the brunch was the best we’ve had in a while. We definitely plan on coming back. Thanks guys!
Enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch. Everything we ordered from the many varied offerings was very tasty. Restaurant was crowded, so we were glad to have made a reservation in advance. Service was very friendly and helpful.
Our food was wonderful, but the service was sub-par. The manager and another staff member pitched in to help our waitress, who was new, but we still waited a long time to be greeted, to get our drinks (which came out wrong the first time), to get refills on water and drinks and to pay the check. Fortunately, we were out with friends and enjoyed our conversation, but if we had been on any sort of deadline (like going to a movie or a show), we would have been in trouble. We will definitely try them again in hopes that the service improves, as the food is excellent.
Keeps getting better & better. Great neighborhood haunt with really excellent food choices. Always good service
We’ve been to Timber several times, this visit was marked by less than mediocre food. Everyone’s meat was either under cooked or burnt, in one case it was both burnt on one side and undercooked on the other.
Food was excellent! Service was confusing as we had two severs.
Awesome food, awesome service, awesome quality. My 4th time and will be coming.
We have eaten at Timber many times and been very happy with the food and the service but last Wednesday we had a rather disappointing meal with friends. I called them the following day and expressed my concerns about our experience to one of their managers. She was very sorry to hear we had a disappointing experience and offered gift certificates to make up for it but I told her I only wanted to bring this quiet unusual occurrence to her attention so she can rectify any internal problems she may find. I feel this was a freak thing and it will not occur again. We really love the place and will likely never be disappointed again
Fabulous food! Waitress was absolutely wonderful. Went with my kids and my parents for brunch and now everyone is hooked on this great little find u exposed then to. Love it.
The food was good and the restaurant has a good vibe. The service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was pretty busy most of the time we were there. Overall a good first experience and we would go back.
Our server was great. The kitchen made two mistakes on the same order and we didn't sent it back a second time. They comped us a free dessert and birthday dessert. The potions were small on the 35 day burger, especially the fries. They didn't even fill the cup.
The food was very good. That's the positive. On the negative side, it is extremely loud and the food took a little long to prepare. We were there at dinner. I have been there at lunch and it's not quite as loud during that timeframe.
Our waiter, tall, dark and from Texas, was excellent. He had great manners, made great recommendations and surprised us with an anniversary dessert! It was also refreshing to see the chef cooking...it shows he is engaged in the success of his restaurant.
We had the most lovely Easter Brunch for a party of 18. The servers were on top of everything. They brought out free fresh fruit and cinnamon rolls while we waited for everyone’s food to be prepared. Very nice touch! The food was delicious and loved by all.
My family had a table for six for Easter brunch. Everyone left happy and full. Even with the rush of the busy brunch our food was served in a decent amount of time. Their menu is expansive but they are still able to give fine touches to individual dishes. We really enjoyed Timber
we had a group of 11 for Easter brunch; they were slammed with a bunch of big groups, yet the service was fantastic: wait staff very friendly and attentive; service was fast; and the food was delicious. Will definitely go back
Mussels, scallops and beef were all amazing! Cooked to perfection and well paired with sides. Chicken was dry.
Service was excellent. Drinks delish. Can’t wait to go back!
Food was well prepared, server gave good recomendations!
Wagu burger so tasty and juicy!
I am looking forward to going here again.
First time there...great food and service! Will for sure go back.
Wonderful Sunday brunch menu!
Would have been a great evening without a toddler at the next table. Saturday evening past 8:30 PM people! Leave your kids home.
The artichoke appetizer was amazing!
Waited 25 minutes from seating to first drinks served.
Lived my burger and the Spanish fries. We got our favorite server and he made me my special drink!looking forward to our next visit! The tortilla soup was bomb!
My husband and I dined here for the first time Saturday evening. We were impressed by the food and wine menu. Our waitress offered suggestions when asked. Our wine and food were all excellent! We will return again!
I especially love their warm board appetizer. Its a meal by itself. The cherry cobbler is to die for.
I didn’t know anything about Timber and they exceeded my expectations. Server was knowledgeable and very attentive. French onion soup, Cuban sandwich, scallops and paella all great choices
Took a friend of mine for her birthday. It was her first visit to Timber. She really seemed to like it. I felt like the server was a little slow to come over and greet us but the service the rest of the evening was spot on. Salads were definitely chilled and crisp. Our entrees were served very warm. Our server recommended the ribs off of the special menu which I ordered. Halibut was the other entrée we ordered. Although the ribs had great flavor and very tender, a little fatty which is hard to see with the lighting in the restaurant. Loved the side of potatoes that came with the ribs as well as the carrots. Definitely will come back as there are a lot of dishes that sound interesting.
Great wine and a nice menu. The only problem is my filet was overcooked. Still very tasty and tender. Just not medium ware
Last minute dinner out for our anniversary. It did not disappoint. We had the Rib Eye special with the crab. House salad was wonderful. We sat by the fire and finished dinner off with some coffee and bread pudding! Our server was on top of his game and made sure our drinks were full at all times. We Will be back!
The food & service has always been top notch. The wood-fire atmosphere is perfectly cozy for cold winter weather.
Excellent service... great energy and the cozy wood oven aroma made for a delightful dinner.
We had the halibut and cedar plank salmon..... absolutely delicious!!
Such a wonderful local restaurant.....we have dined at Timber several times and we'll continue to do so!
Great place and the food was on point.
