Timber Woodfire Bistro
Cooking in this way imparts a slight smokiness as it brings out the natural flavors of the food. A juicy ribeye sizzles and caramelizes, giving the tender beef a gorgeous crust. The homemade dough for our pizzas rises in the heat, and the crust gets to be the perfect combination of crisp and chewy. Vegetables share an entirely new flavor profile when cooked over wood. Dining at Timber brings an experience both classic and innovative. Come eat and drink with us as you watch our fireflies dance above the wood-fired grill.
Great food. Fast service. Cool place. Will return.
A great change of pace with the food selection. Will be back there very soon.
Great food and we were there during happy hour so great deals on drinks and food.
Enjoyed Saturday brunch. Pancake was very good as was the bacon. Nice to get a complimentary cinnamon roll.
Nice brunch spot
Pizza was not as good as the first time I had it, it was soggy this time
First time. Entire experience was great. Thanks.
Have been to Timber before but this experience wasn't great Entree's were very greasy. Waiter was having off night as well; mixed up drunk order and entree was incorrect. Another patron fell right in front of him as well and did nothing. 🙁
I love place for happy hair and half price drinks. We wanted to try for brunch, this place is definitely not a brunch spot. What you pay for is not worth what you get. Not suggested for brunch, but for happy hour.
Service was excellent. Ambiance was pleasant. Wide variety of menu options to choose from. Unfortunately what we both ordered was a bit underseasoned but the items were inventive and creative, so I would definitely give it a try again!
Our server was great and the sweet roll they serve was nice touch too.
Coffee was super weak, potatoes were over cooked.
We made our reservation for Mother’s Day. I made several confirmations including one with the restaurant directly. We wanted indoor seating. When we arrived they told us there was no room inside, and we would have to sit outside. My wife does not want to go back there.
AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE!! A perfect place for a group of people or just a romantic dinner.
Great service and excellent food. Mussels pork chop and salad. Mike w
Our waiter, Julian, was awesome - that was the best part of the experience. I made a reservation through OpenTable with specific details about having a big group, presents, and balloons, and when I came 10-15 minutes early, it was like they had no idea I was coming. Then I was told by someone who seemed irritated by me that I should have let them know in advance that I was bringing a big group and would need space for presents (luckily another worker was there to let this person know I did exactly that weeks prior). I won't be doing reservations here again.
everything great, handcrafted cocktails amazing (I had The Derby). Food perfectly prepared and tasty. Only drawback was noise level, but not the loudest I’ve ever experienced. Overall great dinner
Our party of 6 was seated promptly. Very pleasant and efficient server arrived quickly to explain parts of the menu and to take drink orders. I did ask about the tenderness of the short rib. The food for some of us was less than anticipated. Hubby's chicken was tough and thighs still red around the bone. My Waygu short ribs were very not very tender and hard to chew. Almost flavorless. The potato puree was awesome...too bad there was a very small portion. Another table mate found the pork chop even hard to cut. We ordered desserts: blueberry pancakes were awesome, but the cherry cobbler had very little cherries and a "funny" taste. We did not try the wine on tap, yet the pinot by the glass was average. Other members did enjoy the assorted cocktails.
The noise level was not energetic....it was just plain way too loud. I could barely hear the people seated next to me and we were in a faraway corner from other diners.
Our server was fantastic, and the best thing about this restaurant.
I would only recommend this place to a younger crowd who wouldn't mind about high priced, average tasting food, in a really loud environment. Would I go back? No.
We had a birthday celebration there and they were GREAT!!
Staff and serving person handled the crush of customers very well. Ambiance was improved by the smell of wood smoke, reflecting the name. Large crowd reflected graduations and annual stockholder event in town. Companions praised the Prohibition Chicken but the Timber Fries appetizer was unappetizing with overdone toppings and limp fries. The Timber Mac was also uninspired - starchy and tasteless. Other diners in our party enjoyed their food. The Cabernet Sauvignon house wine was served in a very small carafe but was very good.
Second time eating at Timber, this time with a party for my wife's birthday. All of their food is excellent (Timber Fries are a requirement). We had a couple in our party come late from work, and we were expecting their food to come out later that the rest of the group. Magically, without asking, their food came out with the rest of the party. I know that sort of thing can really mess with the flow of a kitchen on a busy Friday night, but going that extra mile is greatly appreciated.
This is a beautiful restaurant with great food, but our waitress was extremely rude when we asked if we were allowed to grab a drink at the bar and bring it to the table since it was happy hour, but only at the bar. After that she hardly stopped back to check on us and it really ruined the experience.
I met a friend there for dinner last Saturday night. We were seated in a back room normally used for private dining. This wouldn't have been so bad if the other three parties dining there didn't all consist of families with very vocal small children. Our server was excellent, however, and our drinks and entrees were served promptly. However, when the families with children left...approximately halfway through our meal...another server began RUNNING THE POWERED VACUUM all around us, ignoring the fact that we were still eating and trying to have a conversation! To make matter worse, the outside door to this back room then opened and staff proceeded to bring in boxes and crates full of supplies! Needless to say, this was a poor dining experience for us and my "Yes" recommendation would be a qualified one. The food was good, but the ambience was poor.
We have enjoyed lunch at Timber several times, so decided to try it for dinner. It was a big disappointment! My husband ordered the Shrimp Bisque as a side, and it was a watery, broth soup. He also ordered one of the Chef's specialties, Meatloaf, and I ordered the wood-roasted coconut shrimp. The presentation was greatly lacking; it seemed that both orders had been tossed onto the plate, with little regard for how it looked. His meatloaf seemed burnt; my coconut shrimp was okay, but I almost wondered if it was simply something ordered from a food supplier. Very little color to the "breading" - more of a white paste. It didn't taste bad, but it wasn't great. Our server was wonderful! We told her we were disappointed and she sent the manager over to see us. The manager told us that the chef had a new take on bisque - we suggested it shouldn't be called bisque if it's not a creamy, thick soup! She also defended the entrees; however, when we received the bill, we discovered that she discounted our meals.
SLOW service. Good food.
We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. From the outside, it doesn't look all that appealing. The food was excellent, great wait staff, and nice ambiance. We will return.
Awesome Easter brunch for our large party. Great service and delicious food.
Went for Easter brunch, didn’t seem to overly crowded when we got there, which was nice. I did call the night before to see if I could add two people to our reservation (from 6 to 8) and was told with the Easter crowd we could not. Fair enough. But then we got sat at a table for 10, so I felt terrible. My sister could’ve joined. Food was great, service ok.
Prohibition blackened chicken is outstanding! And why we went!
Our server, Stephen, was amazing and the restaurant was gracious with tables and service for the surprise 70th birthday party we had.
The only downside was the bacon. We did not realize all the bacon would be spicy and the young kids and my mom could not eat it. I didn’t find out until after the party so I don’t know if there was something that could have been done.
The service was phenomenal, the atmosphere warm, and they took food allergies very seriously!
Eve was AMAZING!!! The food was delicious (the focaccia and the steak medallions are insanely tasty), but Eve made the evening absolutely fantastic. We will be asking for her every time we come back! She is personable, knowledgeable about the menu, friendly and has an amazing sense of humor. I cannot express enough how delightful she was.
Food was good but don't like the communal seating. Hard to talk to the person you're with when you can hear the people's conversation next to you because they are so loud.
wish they had a gluten free flatbread/pizza option
Great meal with good service! We will be back!! Very nice evening
The food was amazing. It was a Sunday afternoon so it was a little noisy and our server had some distractions but over all really enjoyed this first time experience
I have eaten dinner at Timber several times, this was my first time dining for brunch. It was fantastic! The cinnamon rolls were like a decadent funnel cake!
Great food! Great Service! Complimentary warm cinnamon roll is delicious! Always stop when we are in town!
Had never been to Timber for their brunch and we were all blown away. Best brunch we’ve been to in the Omaha area. Would highly recommend
Exceptional food and service ! Loved it.
Last time there was not as good as our previous visits to Timbers. Roasted Jalapeño Pizza had excess dry flour all over the bottom of the crust that was overwhelming in a bad way. Fries were mushy / soaked in oil.
