Timber Woodfire Bistro
Cooking in this way imparts a slight smokiness as it brings out the natural flavors of the food. A juicy ribeye sizzles and caramelizes, giving the tender beef a gorgeous crust. The homemade dough for our pizzas rises in the heat, and the crust gets to be the perfect combination of crisp and chewy. Vegetables share an entirely new flavor profile when cooked over wood. Dining at Timber brings an experience both classic and innovative. Come eat and drink with us as you watch our fireflies dance above the wood-fired grill.
Awesome service! Great ambiance and loved the brunch drink specials!
Restaurant was cold inside. We loved our food, generous servings, great service. Pricey, however, and didn’t feel the meal or 11$ drinks we had were worth what we paid. Happy Hour is much better value and experience for this restaurant.
Great atmosphere and great food! Service was outstanding for our private group.
We came for the food but the service was outstanding! Delicious foods, friendly server who accommodated our group of 15. While we weren’t sure we’d have the back room we were surprised and slugged to have that room so we could talk better as a table. Thanks for being a wonderful host!
The bartender had a horrible attitude. She was not accommodating and seemed to be defiant with requests.
Great menu. Great ambiance. Taj was a perfect host.
Seriously tasty food, very cheffy menu, great specialty cocktails, We went for brunch, I definitely want to try their dinner menu.
Great Food! Great Service!
Our waitperson was nice and helpful, but it seemed like she had too many customers. We had to wait for her quite a lot. The menu seemed “complicated “ to quote my husband. The food was fine, but not great. The wedge salad had way too much dressing. The Croque pizza had the toppings all grouped in the center. Steak and eggs just looked messy. I don’t think we will go back.
Just disappointing. Went there a while back and had the ribs, which were awesome. I think this was our 5th visit. My elderly mother has been telling everyone how great they were. We went back so she could have the ribs. She was so excited. Unfortunately they aren’t on the menu right now but of course she was disappointed as that was reason we came. The bread and wedge salads were awesome like always. I was REALLY disappointed in Prohibition Black Chicken. No flavor, when you pay $23 for a half chicken without a soup or salad, it should be good. Presentation was good, just no flavor. My wife had the pot roast which was fine, but my mom had the schnitzel which she didn’t care for, but could have been since she was expecting ribs. What I think that turned us off the most was the value. Dinner for 3, which included 1 mug of beer, and no desserts, was over $100. There was nothing really bad about any of the food, it just wasn’t great. The whole way home all we talked about were we wished we would have gone for $100. We go out often and don’t mind spending money, but again for the value, it was very disappointing. Again great bread and wedge salads, but even the french onion soup my wife got with the pot roast was very disappointing to the point we had to ask our waitress twice for salt and pepper. We’ll give it another try but probably go with the great bread and wedge salads. Little gun shy on entrees as we’ve yet to find one we’d come back for besides the ribs. Thanks
We've been there 3x and absolutely love the Old Fashions and the Meatballs. The pizza was underwhelming.
Each time we visit this place, it is always very good. Yes the prices are high but it is an upscale restaurant. Unfortunately there’s not many choices for a true plant-based whole food person. They pre-grill their vegetables with oil.
The grilled shrimp and mussels were excellent!! A bit disappointed the empanadas came covered in a thick sauce - they were good but I couldn't tell if the sauce blanketed any flavors. LOVED the Hop Collins.
We love Timber. Both dinner & brunch have been excellent but I’m super impressed with the innovative brunch menu!
Ordered the Cuban w/fries and the pear flat bread. The sandwich was wonderful, full of flavor. Drinks were good too.
We had a very good meal and experience.
Food was fantastic but the service needs some improvement. Would visit again.
We had a reservation, but when we arrived there was not a table ready for us, and it seemed as if they were not sure what to do with us. We eventually were seated at the bar while we waited for our seat, but it was not clear that we were waiting for a table.
We had a great Valentine's experience. We arrived early and enjoyed drinks at the bar. Once seated, we had an incredible waiter, Steven, who really was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. The service was great and the Valentine menu was delicious. The seared tuna is a must. My husband had filet medallions and I enjoyed the perfectly prepared halibut. It was a fairly pricy meal but totally worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special night out.
We went for a Valentines Day/Anniversary dinner. The service was ok but the food was very disappointing. We started with shrimp and crab cakes that were light on both of those essentials and tasted a bit like pimiento loaf. We both got the salmon, which was supposed to be medium but was burnt to blackness. Asparagus was also over cooked and the mashed potatoes were flavorless. The waiter, whom we suspect knew the food quality, never asked us how the food was. We decided not to mess with sending it back. All-in-all an expensive meal that was horrible.
My wife's 60th birthday dinner, and everything was great as usual. Thanks again.
Excellent food, service and setting. Food is a bit on the pricey side, and certain items seem overpriced for the amount you get, but the main menu items seem to be of a quality and portion size that matches the price.
Appetizers were super salty this time. Lamb had little flavor. Root vegetables were just carrots. Salad was delicious. Service was great. Dessert was good but very small. Chairs are not comfortable. Need some booths and some cushions.
When we arrived, we had to wait about 15 minutes for our reservation, no problem. We were seated, and our server came to our table. He wasn’t friendly. Didn’t greet us, just asked what we wanted. Our appetizers came promptly but our dinners took about 45 minutes later to get to the table. We all had sandwiches. Dinner over all took over an hour and a half. It was busy when we first arrived but cleared out pretty quickly. Food was great, but it was very slow.
Everything was awesome except for the food. It was par at best. For charging $25-$30 for a plate of boiled food at a "woodfire" bistro is horrible!!!
Our waiter was super friendly and helpful! Love the decor and food!
The food was fantastic and the ambiance was wonderful. Unfortunately, we had an issue with our order not being placed in a timely manner. This resulted in a delay of approximately and hour. Being on a business lunch, this can cascade into schedules being impacted. We were disappointed in not being proactively offered a gift card to use on a return visit.
I had to google Brunches in Omaha because I was coming in from out of town, and this place was awesome! I loved the setting/atmosphere and the food was great! I would totally go back! Wish there was one in my home town!
Nice brunch in every respect. Dishes were excellent.
It took 10 minutes just to get our waters and drinks. After that it took another 10 minutes to get our order placed. We sat for 25 minutes before our food came out. They gave a complementary cinnamon roll which would’ve been good if it was possible to bite through. The middle of my cast iron monkey bread was cold. I’ll always try a place twice but this wasn’t impressive.
Wonderful restaurant with fabulous food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
We always enjoy Timber. Great food and attentive service. We’ve taken several friends there, and they all love it and want to return on their own.
The atmosphere was great, but we were a little disappointed in the food. Ordered the steak medium and it came out medium rare. They took it back and fixed it but by the time I got my food my husband was done eating. Also the steak and potatoes seemed to be swimming in oil when they came back. The risotto also seemed a bit inconsistent - some undercooked, some ok. They apologized for the steak and comped dessert which was nice.
Good food, good service and good atmosphere makes for a nice place to have a bite to eat with some unique flatbreads and good appetizers.
Timburger was terrific! Always enjoy eating here!
Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, great prices. Second time we dined here. Love this place! Gave a 4 rating for food because waffle was so over cooked we couldn’t cut it, but such generous portions we didn’t need the waffle.
Stopped by for dinner after an art show opening. Arrived 7 pm on a Saturday and the place was warm, and full of great energy. Staff welcomed us at the front door. Guests were bustling in and out, all with great smiles and big hellos. Great energy and ambiance. Food and wine also lovely. Nice wine list... enjoyed a Malbec from Argentina. Began with the fries.... a deep bowl of thin and crispy taters sharing the spotlight with breaded mushrooms, topped with prosciutto and an aioli sauce. This was the star of the night. We didn’t need anything else. But went on to enjoy a fresh salad and a lobster/scallops dish.
Love the atmosphere and friendliness of Timber. Great happy hour menu. Nice place to meet up with friends. However, I felt the food for dinner was not worth the price.
