Inviting atmosphere, very friendly server, great food!

We went to Timber for brunch on a Sunday morning. Waiter and staff were friendly, knew the menu well. Ordered steak and eggs and the everything bagel, both were fantastic! Went at 11am and it was not crowded, by the time we left around 12:30 the place had filled up. We will definitely be back to try the pizza and more dinner options.

Great food, great atmosphere, definitely recommend the draft wine!

I had been here twice in previous years and decided to never go back because while the food was delicious, the wait for it was so slow. However, I am so happy I returned. I've now been there twice in the past three weeks and the food has been delicious and service has been excellent.

We were seated in the back room which was quaint. Our waitress seemed to be having a hard time being attentive to her tables. They were out of our top three choices of beer off the draft list. We were passed by the waitress a few times before she came to take our order. We had the sausage fennel pizza and the timber burger, which was underdone and soggy. It was nice they apologized and provided a free dessert; however, the dessert pizza was our choice and it should be taken off their menu. It was just a pizza crust with berries & whipped cream on it. We were excited to try this bistro but unfortunately it was not worth paying for.

The restaurant is noisy. Food is good. The restrooms were dirty and doors didn’t latch.

The Summer Squash Soup was AMAZING! It was a little pricey, a good place for a date night. Would go again.

We recently met up with some relatives at Timber Woodfire Bistro. The food was quite good and service was fast and efficient. We enjoyed the unique food and found the pizza to be delicious. This is a great place!

Fun, small place. We enjoyed it, but felt it was a bit pricey for what you get. Also, don’t get Truffle Fries, they are not worth it.

Don't think that wine purchase should be included in total bill for a tip.

I have eaten here at least 6 times and never know what quality of meal we're going to get.The service has always been very good and the ambience is fine. I ordered a sushi tuna salad that was tasteless and had tuna so tough it was inedible. My wife ordered a mushroom pizza that had a nice thin crust but cardboard would be more edible. I don't understand how a restaurant can be so inconsistent and stay in business!

Excellent waiter - great service and very friendly. Two of us ordered the schnitzel, one ordered the prohibition chicken, and one ordered the porchetta. All but the porchetta were a hit. Very noisy and we were seated at a community high top table with unusually high, uncomfortable bar chairs. Not terrible, not great; won't rush to go back.

Timber used to be our go to neighborhood spot. Service has always been spotty, but the other it night is was terrible. We were seated right away, but waited and waited for our waitress to pay any attention to us. She finally took drink orders, but it was a very long wait to get 3 glasses of wine ... even longer to get the fourth ... that we had to ask for repeatedly. Food came out promptly (thankfully not by our waitress), but when we done and trying to have birthday cake that we brought (and cleared with the restaurant in advance) our dirty dishes just sat there. I finally cleared some of them myself.

On a scale from 1-10 I would rate Timber at a 7 due to a miscommunication with my dining companions order where we requested onions be held off of the burger and there was onions. They redid the burger and it was amazing

I can’t believe we just found this restaurant. Fabulous. We tried several appetizers, soup and entree. Drinks were good too. This is our new go-to restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.

Delicious meals! We had chicken, fish, burger, and steak and all were amazing! Appetizers included meatballs and crab cakes which both were also delicious. We will definitely be back.

Food was rather underwhelming. Entrees were rushed out shorty after our appetizer had been served. We had barely had a chance to taste the appetizer when we were having to clear space on the small table for two entrees. Drinks are pricey.

Been here twice now and it’s been excellent both times! It’s perfect for a date night or a gathering with friends.

Great place for Sunday Brunch and I am sure for lunch and dinner!

Great restaurant, this is our second time going. Unique food options, closer to our house (don't have to drive all the way downtown). We love the salad wedge. Was surprised with reservations that we were placed near the front of the restaurant as the back is much more quaint. Would definitely go again though.

We went for Restaurant week. The starter of Roasted Butternut Squash may be the best starter I've ever had. The entree Oxtail gnocchi arrived in a sizzling dish. Unfortunately the char on the gnocchi was so heavy some pieces tasted burnt. The dessert was the opposite. The apple cobbler was very pale with just cooked dough & the crisp not at all browned. If the squash hadn't been so delicious I would have rated the meal even lower.

Fun experience for Restaurant Week. Creative food and delicious drinks. Great service.

This was our first visit to Timber Woodier Bistro. We tried it because it wa celebrating Omaha Restraurant Week with three course specials. After we were promptly seated with our Open Table reservation, we ordered drinks while reading the menu. The service was excellent throughout our meal. The food selections were not the usual Omaha steak and potatoes. Everything was most tasty. We wil return soon.

We were celebrating two birthdays and they gave us an area that was private and quiet.
Service was good. Pizza with pears on it was amazing. They also gave us a free dessert for the birthday celebration. It was scrumptious. I will comment we ordered mussels and they were way over cooked. Won't do that again but will certainly be back for all the other wonderful eats.

I received a coupon for a free meal for my anniversary. Unfortunately I realized too late that it was expiring and my husband couldn't make dinner that night. The restaurant allowed me to use the coupon with my daughter. So at least it didn't go to waste.
They had a special for half price bottles of wine - great. Meals were good. Toppings on both my halibut and my daughter's steak was a little heavy but we scraped it off. The rest was very good. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly.

It was so awesome! Our waitress heard we were part of a wedding and gave us a free cinnamon roll! Also, the drinks were amazing. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Service was lacking and unprofessional. The food was just okay, definitely not worth the cost. Large portions of underwhelming food is not a selling point for me. The descriptions sounded great but the food on the plate didn’t meet the expectations. There weren’t many other guests dining at the restaurant on a Friday evening and all the “customers” at the bar were actually employees. Our waiter was behind the bar drinking which was another disappointment while we sat waiting on our drinks to be refilled.

Food quality very poor. If this was first time I had been to Timber I would never go back. Celery on a veggie pizza - that was a first and probably last time I’ll see that. Food overall was so-so at best, drinks fine. Been to Timber before and food was good, hopefully this is just a blip?!

We were celebrating my brother and sister in laws 61st anniversary!! The table they sat us at was in a section that was very hard to hear or talk. Kimberly willingly moved us farther back into the restaurant and we were able to visit easily.

So thankful for accommodating us. Food was delicious~ everyone was delighted with their meal. Fun evening of celebrating! Thank You!

~~ only negative....it would have been nice if we’d been offered a complimentary dessert~~ after all you don’t celebrate 61 years to often.
