   I’m frustrated it was so disappointing! At this price point and location, I would expect a white glove dining experience. The waitress did not have proper serving training and did not know the new menu. My $50 ribeye was undercooked and had to send back to cook longer. The sliced potatoes were served in what seemed like a cone shaped modern cup, sitting inside the ribeye dinner plate. As the base was narrow on the bottom and very wide to the top, the waitress spilt every single plate she served, as these wouldn’t balance. It wasn’t until you moved the potatoes out that at the bottom of the cone cup you found the dipping sauce that came with it, you couldn’t see it until you ate most of them. The kids pasta from the children’s menu was so overcooked, it was like mashed potatoes and the sauce was too spicy for them to eat. One of the guests plate was removed before they had finished eating, and took most of his ribs meal away and had to replace with another full meal. The drinks from the Lounge were forgotten, I had to walk over to grab them and the bartender told me the waitress must have forgotten about them. There wasn’t anyone else in the dining room left except us. When she would come, she seemed frazzled. We were a party of 11. Again, no other table with people except ours. For a $600 bill I expect my meal to be cooked to perfection and service to be top notch. Do not recommend for a fine dining experience.

   We were with another couple, so just just speaking for ourselves, my wife could not find anything in the menu that interested her. She ended up with a salad and an appetizer. I chose the short rib dinner, because I had never had that before and because the other beef items were way out of our budget. We each had an alcohol drink, her wine and me a draft beer. Bit even with what I would call a limited dinner, we spent over $80. We love the Timbers Restaurant, but we just can’t afford to come back. So sorry.

   We had reservations at 1:15 for the Mother's Day Buffet. We were seated on time, but were seated in the lounge because they said that they needed the tables in the main dining room for big parties still coming in. The dining room was almost empty by the time we were done and no other big parties came in while we were there. Our waitress was really nice but the service was sporadic. It took a while for her to greet us and get us drinks. About 20 minutes in to our experience, our waitress told us that we were her only table and that she would give us her full attention. That wasn't true. I had to clear our empty buffet plates off our table so we had room. The food was cold and the selection was average. The staff was friendly. Overall, $55.00 per person was way too much to pay for the caliber of food and service we received. We can cross going here for special occasions off our list.

   We’ve been coming to the Lied Lodge since it opened & enjoyed eating at Timbers while there. The service is now excellent, much improved from the past. But Timbers menu feel out of place. Many items were delicious - we really liked the short ribs. The menu seems French & up-scale which doesn’t seem to fit with rustic lodge. Timbers & the lodge seem to have an identity problem. What exactly are they trying to be & how do they fit in with balance of Arbor farm, etc.

   Food was superb. Excellent presentation of each entree and hit all the taste buds with ample portions. Service was slightly impacted by restaurant being full. Noise level was noticeable but not an issue. Great experience!

   The food here used to be wonderful, however they have a new menu and a lot of new “interesting” takes on the food items. The entrees are expensive and aren’t served with sides. We also tried the carrot cake- it was a deconstructed panna cotta. This basically was carrot baby food. Do not recommend.

   The new menu was worse food for more money. The new lamb appetizer was very good, but the new steak was $4 more for a worse steak that attempted to hide its low quality with too much salt and too much butter.

    They have changed their menu and it seems they are trying to hard. The food was ok but not for the price, ran towards unflavored
