Our prior event finished sooner than expected and they were able to accommodate us and seat us sooner. Drinks were good, dinner was fantastic and filling! I would recommend this place to everyone!
We really enjoyed the service! The servers were very kind easy to work with. The food quality was excellent but a little on the pricey side and so was the wine. Loved the atmosphere and the presentation.
All of our dinners were excellent. The presentation was outstanding and the meat was so tender and moist. Would definitely recommend giving Timbers a try. Our waitress was a bit sloppy with our drinks and we had to ask for napkins to dry the table. I would have expected cocktail napkins in place before setting the drinks on the table. The crème brûlée was served cold, which we’ve always had it served warm so that was a bit of a surprise and the appetizer menu is severely lacking. Beautiful view beautiful atmosphere. Looking forward to going back again and trying a different entree.
Great food, very tasty, reasonable prices, great service, and very quiet restaurant. Great location as well within Arbor Day farm.
We had a lovely dinner- much improved food & nice menu changes since our previous visit. Service & ambiance are always outstanding. Love this spot.
We also had breakfast- broad menu & food was good. It could have been a bit faster
The ambience was very nice and the service was good. Waitress was very pleasant. The one big complaint we have is that it was very cold in the dining room. I know it was in the 90's outside but the AC seemed to be way to low despite the heat outside. We had to put on sweaters to be comfortable.
We had an 9:15 reservation to sit on the patio. When we checked in the hostess asked if we’d rather be inside or go check the temperature outside before we decided-they even offered to move us back inside if at some point we decided it was getting too hot but we dined outside the entire time of our brunch. Temperature was fine, wait staff very attentive, food was wonderful and the tables were far enough apart diners didn’t bother each other. Very relaxing and beautiful environment.
The food was good enough, although a bit overpriced. We enjoyed the layout and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The only real downside other then the food being expensive was the service. Our server seemed to disappear on a regular basis and not return for long periods of time. She was friendly, but we sat and waited for our check for almost 15 minutes. And then waited almost the same amount of time to have it picked up. I ended up just taking it to the desk myself. Very disappointed in the service.
We dined several times in Timber’s . Wonderful creative menu. It did not disappoint once!
The Library Lounge had great service and drinks. We went there before dinner every day. So comfortable and low key.
Front desk crew is outstanding.
Our Uber to the airport we pre scheduled the day before departure for 7:15 am no showed and they came to the rescue with a shuttle driver they called at home on his day off and he was there for us in 20 minutes flat!
It is such a beautiful and unique property. We spent most of every day on the hiking trails and ended with a wine tasting in the gazebo at the tree farm.
Fabulous meal to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary. Food was top of the line
We were staying at Lied Lodge for our anniversary and brought our 9 month old with us. Our server Lex, was phenomenal and interacted with her and was so helpful. I had the Scallops and Shrimp which were AMAZING, the sauce was impeccable. My husband had the filet which was perfectly cooked and my daughter highly recommends the baked sweet potato. :) We enjoyed a great bottle of Merlot recommended by our server and had a wonderful evening. She was so kind and took a photo for us out on the terrace! Also do not skip out on the Southern Cheese Plate. So so good!
We loved celebrating my wife’s birthday at Timber’s! The food was great, the service terrific and the location is beautiful.
I hadn’t been to Lied Lodge since before the pandemic. I was so pleased to find that the restaurant is the same high quality that it has always been. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
When we ate dinner and then breakfast there in early June, a new dinner menu has recently been launched (we were told a week earlier). We have eaten there several times over the years and have always enjoyed the ambiance and excellent service; we again had great service this time. However, the food itself was not as good as in the past, maybe a different chef? My baked potato was cold and undercooked. Carrots were listed as honey glazed but were roasted with strange spices and mushy. My wife's vegetarian dish was subpar she said. Breakfast was better than dinner but not as good as most breakfast places we have eaten at. Overall, we still enjoyed dining there, but hope the food is a little better next time.
The duck was amazing with the recommended wine and the short ribs were tender and flavorful.
Overall, it was a nice place and the food was decent. We reserved early and asked for a table w a view but got one near the front door. Service was slow after we ordered. Waiter said he'd be right back w bread, but it came w the food about 20 minutes later. Disappointed that the sides are an extra charge when ordering steaks. That is not indicative of Midwestern dining. We were celebrating an anniversary and at the end the waiter brought a slice of cheesecake to go. Nice touch which made us feel appreciated and enough to sway us to likely come back when in the area.
Average. Nothing at all special
Excellent food, eggs benedict and chicken fried steak and eggs, were both excellent!
Service was good, Bloody Mary's were good and the view outside was peaceful and pretty!
It was our anniversary and we celebrated with friends! A great place to come!
We were spending a couple of nights in Nebraska City and celebrating my husbands birthday. We chose Timbers due to the recommendations on Trip Advisor. And we could not have been happier with our choice. The whole experience was perfect! Great ambience, great server, great food! Highly recommend!
The food was magnificent! We didn’t have a dish that didn’t impress us on our little weekend getaway. The hospitality from the staff was truly Nebraskan. Can’t wait to go back again!
Buffalo cauliflower was 8 out of 10, although it was barely warm enough, creamy Cajun pasta was pretty nice, but not quite warm enough, and the 8oz flank steak was cooked perfectly, although a little salty from the seasoning salt. The rolls were served late, but not all that good anyway. The room is pleasant, but was on the cold side the night we were there when temperatures had dropped in a freak cold front. The lobby fireplace is very enjoyable, however it could be so much nicer if the architect had designed the space more cleverly so more seating had a nice fireplace view. There are 2 fireplaces back to back and only 2 chairs in front of each side. What were they thinking???
We had an excellent experience! Highly recommend the braised short rib & truffle mac and cheese! <3
Food was slow and options were expensive. However, the food was very good.
We were able to eat outside on the porch, and it was lovely! Our waitress (Victoria) was really attentive and very sweet. A wonderful lunch experience!
Very overpriced. Service was slow. Polite but was inattentive.
Great food has everything a family would want to choose from.
We had a lovely window table so we could enjoy the beautiful view. The menu offered a very nice variety and our dishes were delicious, we had the chicken and salmon. Our server and the kitchen were accommodating a couple changes we requested. The wine list was decent, however the bottle of French red wine we ordered came straight from the refrigerator and took almost all dinner to come to temperature. I realize that wines need to be cellared at the correct temperature however it was so cold that we couldn't smell or taste the nuances of the wine. Beyond the wine we really enjoyed our visit and will be back again and would definitely recommend Timbers.
Good service with a decent variety of menu choices.
Great food! Great service! We will be back! Thank you!
Anniversary- amazing wine and views. Fantastic food (we had salmon and steak)
Great food and service. Will definitely eat here again.
We ate at the Timbers 2 nights during our stay at Lied Lodge. All of the food served was delicious and top notch! The crab cakes were especially good.
The Timbers is an elegant dining experience. The scallops and fettucine was delicious and I highly recommend it!
The food was very expensive but not well prepared. The steak was way overdone on the outside but very rare on the inside. The quail was very salty, over seasoned and so tough it was almost inedible. It was charred in the outside but uncooked and pink on the inside. It was very hard to get any meat from the quail. The baby carrots were hard, so hard we had trouble cutting them.
If you are staying at Lied Lodge, there is no reason to go elsewhere for a meal. We had breakfast one day and dinners on two days and were happy with all three.
I dined with my Mother at the Lied to celebrate her 80th Birthday and the food was great and the service was better!
The filet mignon is the best we've eaten! Three scallops seemed too little for the money. Treva and Austin were excellent servers.
Wait staff was very helpful with suggestions. Very attentive and personable.
Was a great excellent place
Food was fantastic
Service and wine were great
