This was a Valentine's Day Special Menu. The chef did an incredible job for this 4 course meal. The presentation, tastes, variety, and quality of the food were excellent. It made the evening very special. My only criticism of the place is that the chairs at the table are awful - very uncomfortable and provide no back support for a lengthy meal.

Drunks at the bar were very loud. Steak and fries were great as was the chicken sandwich. Dry rub wings were dry and too salty, not very good.
Waitress was nice, good service

Great location and service. Varied menu with something for everybody. Dined here twice during our week at Steamboat.

Located near the gondola entrance. Reservations make it great for lunch which can get very crowded at the ski area. Food was good but expensive and the menu is limited. Service was very good.

Just so-so. Looks like they have a lively apres scene but wouldn’t recommend it for a dinner venue. Ordered burgers, which came quickly and weren’t overdone, but lacked flavor overall.

I don’t normally review restaurants. But, I want to try to improve other individuals dining experience (or, save them from this place). The food was quite bad. The service was also less than stellar. Took us an hour to get our second round of drinks and there was no offer to comp them. We won’t be going back.

We loved Timber and Torch. Delicious pasta dish with lamb!! The tables for two were pretty close together, but besides that we had zero complaints. Also very close to the base, which was nice!

It was loud, but bc we were there during “live music” night. Which we didn’t know about ahead of time. It was fun, but loud.

Service was mostly efficient but leaned towards to slow. Food was ok (chicken sandwich, gnocchi, burger, chicken strips, beer, cocktail and cheesecake) not good or great, just ok. The food tasted borderline "out of the box"- definitely the chicken strips and cheesecake. 6PM crowd was alive and created a buzz in the air, but the restaurant didn't match the customers energy. Live entertainment on the stage next to the tables inside the restaurant would help. We would go back again but they need to improve the quality of the food and delivery of the overall experience. Timber and Torch has the #1 location, but they need to polish the delivery of the ski mountain dining experience. I've managed restaurants for award winning restaurants within private CC's, and the for world's leading luxury hotel company (Four Seasons) and would like to go back and see how they've improved. Right now, the location might be giving them a false sense of success. Being a new restaurant they need to really work at polishing and improving to possibly reach it's true potential. Overall rating 3.0

This is a nice spot to relax after a day on the slopes. Good happy hour and great vibe. If you're looking for a nice dinner, though, it's mostly bar food. Upscale, but still bar food - sliders, burgers, pretzels.

Serive horrible.
25 minutes to revive one cocktail after ordering.
30 minutes after ordering server came back to say sorry no more Mac & cheese pick something else.
Never received appetizers - bowl of stew & poutine.
We’re there 55 minutes and decided to leave server got the manager - he apologized about running out of Mac & cheese and said it was the busiest night. Although plenty of tables still avail.
We left.

I think that any issues w/ T&T are because they are new and need to refine their systems. They have a good menu and the food was tasty. The service was very slow, but still friendly, so that is something fairly easy to correct. I'll be back and am sure that T&T will continue to improve.

First time here, took 20 minutes before any one came to our table, my husband had to go tell someone to come take our orders. She took drink and meal order all at the same time. Was an hour before our food arrived. The food quality was not edible! Had to ask again for our waiter to bring our ticket then when we left she expressed her disappointment with the tip so my husband could hear. Would definitely not recommend

Service was pathetic and restaurant wasn’t that busy. Ordered martini on the rocks and it came straight up and waitress spilled it on me for no extra charge. It is a shame that such a good location has such terrible service.

Out with the family for dinner - 10 of us - including 4 kids 10, 7, 4 @ almost 2... server was welcoming, friendly and flexible, was happy to get kids’ food started first, they had kids menus with crayons to keep them occupied, but also a solid food and drink menu to keep adults happy too. Would certainly go back!

We made a reservation thru open table. When we got there, they first wanted to put us at a high top in the bar area, when tables were open all over the restaurant. I said no, a table. We were put next to the band stage, not a good location at all. Our waiter got drinks, food order and then we never saw him for another 1/2 hour. We also watched an employee walk thru the restaurant and past our table with a large bag of trash. I think they have changed the looks of the restaurant, looks beautiful, but same old service and atmosphere as befoe!
