The service was outstanding. Servers are friendly and helpful. My dinner was unique and delicious. Two of us loved the food, but one of us was not satisfied with her entree. Her food was immediately comped.
Food was amazing, eggs benedict is a must! Went for my friend’s birthday and waitress brought out a small cake for my friend, even though I had not requested anything. Lovely set up with great food and service, will go for brunch again
Great food. We ordered SRW menu. Amazing three course meal.
Our dinner was fantastic, but the acoustics were tough. The large party near us was overwhelmingly loud, and their conversation was a damper on our otherwise lovely dinner.
The food at Tilth is always wonderful . I have never had anything to eat that was not the best. The duck sliders are worth the drive. It tends to be too noisy, which is the only negative comment. Service is great. The food is local and organic. Kudos to the chef!
Our experience at Tilth was our first and it was amazing! the presentation of the food was unique and the food was outstanding!!! Every single entree. we thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening and experience. Thank you!!!
Went for restaurant week. For such a highly reviewed restaurant I was unimpressed by the food.
Spectacularly creative food - hard to believe it is a little craftsman. Top 10 in seattle . Attentive service. Personal attention. I took my wife on a surprise date there and will be back for anniversaries and such.
Great gluten free food options
Food was great as usual, service was excellent, and it was restaurant week. The noise was almost on the side of being too loud but, not quite. Still one of my favorite restaurants.
There was not a fish option on the A La Carte menu. e like fish. Too much concentration on Price Fixe menu's.
Great food. Best value for SRW.
Wonderful experience overall. My friend and I went here for the first time to enjoy Seattle Restaurant week. Our portions were definitely ample for the price. We decided to do the wine pairing and are so glad we did. It made the meal that much more memorable. The timing of everything was exceptional as well - the waiter was excellent in letting us enjoy the last sips of our wine before moving onto the next course. We never felt rushed even though we knew the restaurant was completely booked for the evening given SRW. The flavors were so complex and delicate at the same time. It was an amazing experience. I'm already planning on coming back for a special occasion.
I had been looking forward to visiting Tilth for years, however, was disappointed when we finally made it. The restaurant is very cozy yet has very tight space between tables. The noise level can be really high and annoying when the tables are fully occupied. We kind of tried to get out of the restaurant ASAP due to the noise. However, the service were so slow, so we had to sit there and looked at each other suffering to the load speakers next to our table most of the time.
The food quality is good but not good enough for us to come back with such an experience. With the fairly high price of their menu, I expected a much better dinning experience than that.
Tried it out for Restaurant Week and it was very tasty. It was a bit loud and tight for my liking, but the service and food were great. Just make sure you don't go there super hungry because the portions are small but so good. If your looking for some creative and very tasty organic meals this is a great spot.
Everything was tasty and delicious- when I asked a question about the wine flight. Not the best attitude one would expect. Certainly made us all comment and changed the upbeat mood we had going in to our experience. Everyone has their days...
It certainly makes you think twice about an visit.
Second time at Tilth. Will be back there many more times.
Warm Professional is the description I think most applies. Food is a notch above most upper end restaurants. Attention to details are everywhere.
Fabulous! One of the best meals I've had in a long time. The pork tenderloins were amazing. So incredibly tender it was hard to believe it was pork. We did the 3 for $33 Restaurant week specials and ordered at least 1 of every item. They were all quite good. Actually can't quit thinking about my meal which rarely happens.
Food and service were impeccable. The pork tenderloin is to die for. It came with no sauce at all though; having one available would be an "upgrade". Seared tuna was excellent, but was a bit too salty to my taste. ONe complaint, though, Is we paid for wine pairings and were told that there was a tempranillo for the red; when served waiter explained it was something else. We were disappointed by this red, and probably would not have paid for the pairing if we knew that it was a red we don't necessarily like.
For the cost, the service and quality of food where no where near my expectations.
Very efficient and accommodating re fluid number for my group. Excellent service, perfectly prepped entres, and good wine guidance.
The food was delicious. Risotto and Short Ribs are can't misses!
The restaurant was cozy and the food delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, but not suitable for children.
We went for Restaurant Week. Definitely a great value compared to other restaurants we've been to during the promotion. Probably out of our price range if not for Restaurant Week but if I were going to spend $200 on 2 people for a meal I would consider this place.
Great food in decent portions (not the small plates that you sometimes get at fancy places). We had the restaurant week menu, but even that one had a lot of vegetarian and vegan options.
We absolutely love Tilth. The tasting menus are incredible...we're not gluten-intolerant in any way but one night we ordered the G-I tasting menu and were floored. They have a vegetarian tasting menu, too, but we like meat :) Tilth is one of Seattle's culinary treasures.
I thoroughly enjoyed the meal at Tilth. Everything was flavorful, but not oily or over-salted. There were plenty of options for vegetarians as well. The vegetable soup was delicious, especially if you like mushrooms. The only con is that whenever the door options a huge draft of cold air sweeps into the room. We sat near the door so I was cold for a majority of the meal even though there was a heater on.
Great food and service! I like the portion size of the food. It's unique and delicious. A bit pricey for my budget, but I knew that going in.
Overpriced for the quality and amount of food
As always the food was amazing, and the service just right. This restaurant has been at the top of my list for two years now, unheard of in the Seattle market of a gazillion restaurants! It never disappoints.
Tilth was a choice I made solely based on the OpenTable reviews. The menu is changing and interesting. The food is local and nearly all organic. The staff are exceptional - from the greeting to the farewell. Top notch. The decor is "neighborhood romantic but way too beige." :)
All-in-all the food was great. The 4 versus 5 stars is based on the fact that the price can escalate quickly into a pretty high range if you are ordering outside of the tasting menus. The tasting menus are great, but can be quite pricey as well. But, in the end, very very close to being totally worth the indulgence.
This is a great place for excellent food, great service and the perfect ambience for a dinner date or a couples dinner. Will definitely go back!
Not worth the $$. Received a lamb pasta dish where the pieces of lamb were literally 75% fat.
A cute spot with a delicious brunch that I still recommend, but were disappointed with their dinner. The food was just okay, they were out of a few things and didn’t tell us about the substitutions until they set the plate down, and we thought it was overpriced. I used to love this place too...
We did the grand tasting menu the other night and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was timed perfectly and portion sizes were just right. So awesomely to see such high quality organic ingredients and so many vegan and gluten free options too. Bottom line is if you live near Seattle and are in to high quality, creative, local and seasonal food this is the spot for you.
Still some of the best food I've had in Seattle. The subtle flavor nuances and effort they put into their food truly puts them on another level.
We had a wonderful time. The food was unbelievable and the service fantastic.
Perfect for an intimate date
Great Sunday brunch!
