This was our second dinner at Tilth. We went with the omnivore tasting menu on our first visit, and the vegetarian tasting menu this time. Food was great, wine pairings were as well.

But what sets Tilth apart from other nice restaurants in Seattle is the atmosphere. You feel like a guest in someones home, and it adds to the coziness of the setting. The servers are all knowledgeable, hospitable, and attentive.

In my experience, its one of the best values for a fine dining experience in Seattle.

The food was excellent. The wine also. The server a bit stuffy. Nothing wrong with level of service. Just a bit stuffy for the environment and occasion

Food is outstanding, as well is the service.
We started with cocktails and later had the 8-course option, with the wine pairing.
We were there for about 3.5 hours, and it was absolutely wonderful.

A visit to Tilth is always a treat, and this Valentine's Day was no exception. Well thought-out menu that accommodates special dietary needs; you don't feel deprived at all. I need to eat gluten/egg/dairy-free, and I was even able to have cashew vegan "cheese" cake with fig sauce! It was delightful. we always love having their tasting menu. You feel each dish is a special treat, yet you don't feel like you need to be carried out in a wheelbarrow. We were once again very happy we chose Tilth.

Never disappointed with this place! A little spendy, but can't beat the food and service. Go for brunch for a lower price point, but dinner for a special occasion :)

I ate at Tilth when it first opened. Although the food was good, it wasn’t remarkable. However the service was awful so we didn’t go back. I continue to see good reviews so, with many restaurants closed on a Monday, I decided to try it again. The service was good. (The restaurant was nearly empty.) But the food was utterly mediocre.

This is the third time I have been to Tilth and every time I have come out satisfied. I am a Vegetarian. This place is superb for those who want to eat healthy and have special diet restrictions. The food was yummy.

Sat 2/3 AT 5--SEATS full or nearly full.

Less special small treats, like the citrus, than before.
Meal more like other restaurants.
Food and service good.
Impressed that you had notes from the past that I don't want added salt.

Make your chocolate sorbeit for dessert!!!

Tilth absolutely lives up to its great reviews! I love that they have small plates so it doesn't end up being as expensive as you might think.

The food is really good and the ambiance of the old house is kinda cool. It was my busy at all for a late Sunday brunch.

Our server, Kurt, was great. He was very knowledgeable about the restaurant, food and ingredients. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. My favorite was the parsnip soup served at the beginning.

It was delicious, the service was AWESOME and I loved every minute. The only thing was the table behind us was extremely loud...and I'm talking LOUD. The man was clearly describing a brain surgery (I kid you not) and he was so bloody escalated! The only saving grace was when the server was describing the specials, then this guy shut his trap....ahhhh the ambient noise level was very do-able. Anyway, we'll be back! Thanks for the nice time!

Excellent food, creative and varied menu, with emphasis on organic food. Great service, attentive, and cozy ambiance in a converted house. Extremely accommodating of dietary restrictions. Many items on the menu are, or can be made, gluten free. They even had a gluten free, dairy free "cheesecake" which met the dietary restrictions of, and delighted my daughter whose birthday we were celebrating! Definitely will return.

All I can say is get the beans. They’re rich and smoky and the kind of dish I’d order even if I weren’t vegetarian. You’re missing out if you don’t give them a try.

Organic fresh brunch in a quiet homey yet classic setting, we always enjoy our meals there. Portions are not huge but rather normal size, which is perfect.

We went to Tilth to celebrate a friend's retirement. It was a lovely evening.
The staff is wonderful. The food is excellent. Although it is a bit pricey, it is nice having
small portion options. We left very satisfied and happy!

Wonderful vegan soup of parsnip and celeriac. Was creamy and smooth. Beet salad was perfectly balanced and satisfying. Cassoulet with several different types of beans and no meat was fantastic! So tasty and nicely seasoned. The handmade pasta in the special was perfectly cooked and the ratio of pasta to lamb ragu was just right. Overall a delicious meal that left us feeling sated, not stuffed, and very happy to have visited Tilth again after a too-long absence. Oh, and the wine was lovely as well. Tilth is still a gem of a restaurant!

The four of us had a wonderful brunch. Each person had something different and loved it. This is fantastic food and excellent service. We thought the prices were extremely reasonable, especially considering the high quality.

This was my third or fourth visit to Tilth, and I'm a little less impressed every time I go. It seems to have lost some of the inspiration that made it so memorable on my first visit. Our food was inconsistently cooked, and the "value" of the tasting menu seemed very varied based on what each person got.

I think Maria has lost her bubble on this restaurant. The food is not very special or innovative anymore. The liver pate was quite bland. We did like it served with mustard and pickled vegetables. Two of us had the boullibase, which was quite salty and served in a bowl that was too small for both visual impact and ease of eating. The artic char was fine but unremarkable.
