Das bodenständige Gasthaus von Tillmann Hahn, der als erster Küchenchef das Grand Hotel Heiligendamm 2003 eröffnete und bis Ende 2007 den Veranstaltungsort des Weltwirtschaftsgipfel G8 bekochte ist ein Ort mit handwerklicher Küche für jeden Geldbeutel mit regionalen Produkten, Bio-Produkten und Kulturprogramm.
Alles wird im Haus ohne industriell verarbeitete Fertigprodukte gekocht. Der Chef ist täglich vor Ort, entweder hinter den Kulissen in der Küche oder persönlich am Gast. Moderate Preise, lockere Atmosphäre und kompetenter, freundlicher Service auf Augenhöhe zeichnen das gemütliche Gasthaus im nordischen Landhausstil aus. Die Lage an der Ostseeallee mit zwei Terrassen unweit von Seebrücke und Strand im östlichen Ortsteil bietet Urlaubern wie Einheimischen echte Wohlfühlerlebnisse. Die Verwendung von regionalen Zutaten und auch Bio-Produkten setzt den unabhängig zertifizierten Betrieb deutlich ab von seinen Mitbewerbern im Küstenort. Ein echter Familienbetrieb mit Herz.

Die Speisen waren ein kulinarische Genuss vom allerfeinsten. Bedienung war freundlich keine unerfreulichen Wartezeiten, obwohl das Restaurant bis zum letzten Platz besetzt war. Es ist jammerschade, dass dieses tolle Restaurant aus unerfindlichen Gründen schließen muss. Dies wird ein kultureller Verlust für Kühlungsborn werden.

Der Service war wie immer sehr freundlich und das Essen war sehr gut. Schade, dass das Restaurant an diesem Ort schließen wird! Wir hoffen, dass es bald in Kühlungsborn einen anderen schönen Ort finden wird und wünschen dem Team alles Gute!

Absolute Preis-Leistungsempfehlung. Uns hat es hervorragend geschmeckt. Schade das wir erst heute in unserem Urlaub hier waren. Aber wir haben direkt zum Urlaubsabschluss morgen wieder reserviert.
