The service was great! And I loved the environment.
The consistent review I saw for Till was the cost to food quality ratio. I definitely agree. You pay way too much for what you get.
Drinks were quite costly for what you’re given.
Food is very high in cost compared to quality (I had the burger and it was a fair value).
We may come back again, just did not expect to spend $90+ for a burger, a “special” (These usually are priced at a discount, not $40), 2 drinks and bread.
Went for wife's birthday. The appetizer that we had was the salmon cerviche. It lacked a lot of flavor. Primarily was avocado. For our main course we all had different items. The salmon my wife had was very good. Unfortunately, the mushroom risotto was very soupy and my son had the mac n cheese that was sort of bland. For desert we had the coffee crème brule and caramel salted ice cream. Both of those were delicious. We will probably try again, but not for a while.
A little heavy handed in the kitchen, Till does provide a great space to entertain friends. The sourdough crust pizzas are light and crunchy and I enjoyed them very much. The more technical dishes like the Gnocchi miss the mark but I will definitely give them another try.
Love Till Kitchen! It has a great, contemporary feel, ambience and unique Colorado food:))
The apple cobbler dessert was wonderful, and I really liked my smoked trout salad. The asparagus appetizer was okay but a bit odd. Overall, I think they have some interesting choices.
Our second time in Till and the first time for family visiting from out of town, we were all impressed with the food. Good as expected! We ordered a couple items from all over the menu and everyone enjoyed their dish. Server was meh - a bit distracted - but nothing I would complain about, just not great. There is an adult beverage with strawberry gin and moscato that is to die for! We will be back.
Great experience! Our second visit and not disappointed! The beet salad was fantastic but of course nothing was bad all was great! We will be back.
The ceviche has too much lemon but everything else was good.
It was a beautiful night with the food and service both outstanding! Highly recommend this restaurant
The pizza is the best. Nice variety for a small menu. Wine list is very high priced. Maybe have some more affordable wines.
The Till is an upscale yet casual dining option. While tasty, the food and beverages are pricy. The atmosphere is excellent, however.
We were in town from Phoenix, AZ to visit the Air Force Academy and a friend told us we had to try Till Kitchen. We LOVED it! Such a beautiful place with a fun vibe and wonderful staff. We tried the 4 cheese pizza with garlic, the kale and avacado salad and the green chile pork gnocchi. Ordered a bottle of a great grenache called Grace (I believe) and finished with the latte creme brulee. Everything was so good and wonderfully presented! We will be back on another visit to Colorado Springs!
Food was pretty good. Food and wine overpriced though. Not sure I would go back unless changes are made.
Great food and nice lunch atmosphere, recommended for fellow foodies!
Great food. Server convinced all of us to get the steak and broccolini. The sauce was amazing!
Till continues to please with attentive, well-orchestrated service and excellent attention to detail. Portions are "right-sized". The menu is creative -- but relatively unchanged over time; nevertheless, it always pleases and delights. Soups and sauces were NOT over-salted, but a little less salt might might be nicer. Prices are higher than average, but in line with other fine-dining. Excellent value; always a great dining experience.
I love this restaurant, great food, great people, great chef
Amazing food, great service, warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Once again we had a fabulous meal at Till. I am always impressed by the creativity and variety of the menu. Service is excellent.
Thanks for a great evening.
The quality of the food and the preparation were excellent - it should be at the prices they charge, i.e., grilled trout = $34.00, a cup of risotto $14.00, glass of wine $12.00. The is Colorado Springs not NY or Denver! The level of noise made it difficult to have a conversation.
Overall, Till Kitchen does a good job. The menu is varied, but seems to lack quite enough options, especially when it comes to protein. Two of the four in our party made that comment. I think the greatest shortfall is in value. We spent $330 for 4 people including tax and gratuity. That's a lot for a business meeting. One person ordered the steak and fries. It was $38 - wow! Fries are the cheapest side you could serve.
My wife had wanted to go here for our anniversary. I made reservations and Mart that it was our third anniversary because there was an option for special occasions. It was never mentioned once by either the server, or the host which would have been nice. He ordered an appetizer. It was an artichoke, and the meat was as hard as a rock on it. We were highly disappointed with that. I ordered the burger with fries. The fries were excellent, but the meat was flavorless, and the bread tasted like a stale bun and fell apart while I ate it. My wife ordered the half chicken with cheesy grits. I do not know why, but I expected it to be spectacular. Probably because it cost $28. The chicken was just okay at best, and that cheesy grits were flavorless. Service was average. The Ambiance was pretty nice though, and the restaurant was fun to walk around. I'm not sure how long this restaurant has been around, but it could definitely use some refining. I do not see us coming back and, as long as they offer bland $12 meals for $28, I do not see them sustaining their business for long.
had the pork chop, was very dry. waiter very difficult to understand, strong french accent.
was there to celebrate my wife and sons birthday and made note of that when the reservation was made. nothing mentioned to celebrate the occasion
Very enjoyable evening of interesting food. A little pricey but good.
We visit this location often. I believe up until now i have always rated it a 5 across the board. This visit was looking like it to was going to be another 5. However then my Ribeye steak arrived, I understand Ribeyes are slightly marbled. This was different, although cooked medium rare, it was chewy, fatter than most Ribeyes and lack the great flavor I have come to associate with this location
Food and service are always fantastic!! We love this place.
The men ordered the more expensive meals and their food was excellent. The ladies ordered the wood-fire pizza which was mediocre. Mixed drinks were expensive but the beer was priced nicely and was tasty.
It’s by far our favorite place to go in date nights. The food is beyond spectacular, and walking into the building immediately transports you to the Napa Valley.
Food was excellent, service superb, very pricey, limited menu.
Service excellent. Drinks great. Food was awesome as usual. A little pricey but you were full so I can’t complain. I would like ice in my water or at least cold😜
It was a birthday dinner and our waiter brought a candle on a dessert, which I thought was sweet of him!
Great service and ambiance. The food was OK, though not what one would expect with the menu item prices being what they are. Consistency is important to many diners and this wonderful restaurant is trying different methods to achieve that consistency. Will still return to dine again and will continue to recommend The Till to others.
As usual The Till is a great place to dine. Very creative dishes with almost sole use of local food. The only disappointment was that we went for Brunch and they have a limited menu (5 very tasty items) and they were out of one of them (at 11am on Sunday?). How does that happen? No explanation was offered but it was disappointing none-the-less. FYI the alternative was very good!
Service was very slow. Manager came out and apologized but gave no explanation as to why it took 45 minutes to make wood fired pizza.
I question the value and service you get for the price.
You will not regret it!
Food was not worth the money. Was good but nothing special. Chicken breast for $23... Mediocre place. Would not go back
The nicest Resturant in the Briargate area of Colorado Springs. Food is fresh the space is roomy, the decor hip.
And one of the only Restaurants in the area taking and honoring Reservations. Enjoy!
Not a good place for vegans or the hearing-impaired, very noisy. Inedible veggie burger, good salads. Good service.
