Tiki's Grill & Bar - Waikiki
View was spectacular, drinks were great, service fine- alcohol delivered quickly but we were there an hour before we got our dinner, flavor was really good but mine was cold and my husband’s Ahi was a little over cooked. The food was otherwise tasty. We did eat it and didn’t send it back because we had somewhere to be that evening. We’d go back to give it another try but for such a spectacular view and fun place, we left disappointed our first visit. We were there for the sunset
3 out of 4 meals were at room temperature when served.
The restaurant was crowded and overbooked due to the rain forcing patio customers indoors which was totally understandable. They had us wait in the bar area and our table there was too wobbly to set a drink on. The “house mai tai “ is awful, I didn’t try the top shelf one after that syrupy mess.
Once seated our service was very good and the food came out fast enough and was tasty. They were seating folks right next to a giant cocktail party they were hosting and it was quite loud. Overall an off nite for this place.
There was a wedding party in there extremely load rude food was not impressive either been 6 times in lat 5 years most definitely gone down hill use be favorite not any more
Been to Oahu 3x over probably a 10 yr span & Tiki's is always on our dining list. I enjoy it so much I had the Tikis logo tattooed on my foot. It's nice to see the food, service & atmosphere has maintained its fabulous consistency through out the years.
Took too long to serve the entree and food was getting cold.
Service was great and food was excellent. Our friend was celebrating a birthday and I paid $15 for the birthday celebration and they did a great job. Huge piece of cake that served four, a lei and birthday song with conk shell accompaniment.
Great experience. Katy did a great job. Food was great
Best ribs I have ever had. Just finishing up when the rain hit, and the staff handled it very well. Definitely go back.
We had absolutely the best server here. She was so careful about my food allergies! But honestly it was really pricey, and while it was good, it wasn't amazing for it's price. I paid 34$ for some fish with a "pineapple relish" and the pineapple looked like it had been canned. It's worth a visit, just be prepared to Shell out $50+ per person with drinks.
Great place to watch a sunset, lots of fun, great happy hour prices and drinks
Great view of the beach. Good service, great wine list and really good food. The only downside were the Mai Thai drinks. Supposed to be the "best on island." Not really impressed. Very sour and tasted like a mix. Other than that, great experience..
Love the warm buns and butter and coconut shrimp. Had the Kaimaina special. The mash potatoes are great and so was the prime rib. The kalua pig quesadilla was okay. Service could be better. I had to ask a passing bus person for more water.
Excellent BBQ (Pork) Ribs)! Service was very good and friendly.
Great place for enjoying Happy hour , great music , food ....love it
Superb food, with quick correction of food temperature. Excellent server and manager, both very very friendly!
We loved the sunset and dinner tonight.
This is a nice place to stop for a casual lunch overlooking the beach. The food was served hot and had good flavor. The portion size was generous and they have unique fries called “sidewinder fries.” They’re very thick fries and have really good flavor and aren’t greasy at all!
Our server was very friendly but super busy since she was the only server there at the time.
Keep in mind that this is in a bar environment and could get quite loud at times.
Overall, I would visit again for lunch.
Great food and incredible service—the best place we’ve gone to in years!
Was recommended to try Tiki’s and we weren’t disappointed. The coconut prawns are to die for!!! We will definitely be back next visit. Tip - book a table or you will have a long wait or miss out!!!
We enjoyed Tiki's for dinner one night while on vacation. Service was great, food was delicious and the drinks were very nice aswell. They had two live performers but as you can imagine it is a little loud so conversations maybe a little harder to have, but totally worth it because they were great performances. Tiki's is a little pricey, our bill came to $160 at the end for one app, two dinners and two drinks. Even saying that we enjoyed it enough to go back for lunch which was a completely different experience. Service was pretty bad, we waited for almost 15 mins after being seated to have our waitress come by. After receiving our food our waitress came by to ask if how our food was and then didn't come back . We had we had to get up twice to ask the bartender for drinks, and the last time to get the bill. The bartender was rude at this point and told me to sit down and she would send over the waitress because she couldn't get the bill. I watched her the whole time waiting for her to walk over to our server to let her know we were waiting but she didn't. Eventually the server dropped off food to our neighbors and I got her attention for the bill. Not once did she apologize for the wait and even when she dropped off the bill it was quite hasty. It was really unfortunate because I enjoyed dinner so much we were hoping for the same experience for lunch. Were also the type of people that will continue to go back to being one place multiple times just knowing it's good. So needless to say we didn't go back anymore. I would go back for dinner again but maybe they need more staff for lunch and the staff need to support each other if they are struggling.
Wonderful view. Tasty food. Great service.
Ocean view seating at a reasonable price. Food was very good.
Have visited Tiki several times while in Honolulu. Always enjoy the food and view overlooking Waikiki Beach. Was disappointed this time around by an unnecessarily rude hostess who started the evening off on a sour note. Our reservation request for a patio table. She essentially said, "You'll get what you get", even though we offered to wait until one was available. We did end up getting a patio table without any problem (there were several available), so it is hard to understand what the need to be so rude was all about. Other than that, the evening, including meal, was enjoyable.
Good food, excellent service, good vibe, relaxed atmosphere and great for families.
Our server was great...professional, attentive and humorous.
Our server, Chara, was excellent, courteous and attentive. The live music bands were talented albeit a little loud because we were the closest table to them. The food was tasty and seasoning was well-balanced. Desserts were flavorful without being overly sweet. Overall, an excellent dining experience.
Service and meal took quite long. Steak was undercooked. They did make up for it by covering the drinks. It was on a Sunday, so that possibly had something to do with it.
We were so pleasanlty surprised by this restaurant. The service was excellent and the wait staff was more than accomdating to us and our 4 year old. They were very quick with our order and the food was excellent in quality and taste. All this plus a great view of the ocean and Waikiki beach. I recommend this place to any family with children.
I was eating alone and not drinking alcohol. My lovely server made me feel like my requests were all that was important for her. I reserved at the last minute and that went smoothly too. Great experience during a difficult trip as a newly widowed traveller.
Abbiamo condiviso una insalata poi abbiamo ordinato New York steak e salmone, tuto gustoso conto 130$ mancia inclusa con 4 birre
Celebrating a closing with my real estate client.
Unfortunately they originally had us sitting by the band. Since 6 of us wanted to visit so asked to move. Unfortunately we were sat inside. Not our first choice wanting to be outside and enjoying the balmy weather. Disappointing as wanted our friends to enjoy the Tiki Bar.
gutes Essen, leider nicht sehr warm, freundliche Bedienung, gute Musik, Reservierung unbedingt erforderlich.
Had a really great experience compared to our visit 2 years prior.
The waitress was friendly and provided good service. My husband's prime rib wasn't cooked to how he ordered it, but mine was good. The buns were great. The coconut shrimp was great.
Great!!! I recommend the Miso Butterfish - incredible.
Great ocean front dining. Lovely Hawaiian music and great service from Sarah A.
