Take a culinary journey through South Asian-inspired fare at Tiger Mama. This restaurant serves lunch and dinner in a vibrant space, enhanced by ferns, plants and soft wood paneling. The menu is a love story to Chef Tiffani Faison's culinary brilliance, with a list that seamlessly borrows from the Vietnamese, Thai and Malaysian cooking playbook. It offers over 30 small-to-medium plate items, broken down into relatable categories like "rich and earthy" or "cold and fresh."
In addition to its dining area, Tiger Mama also hosts a front bar managed by Brian Callahan. It serves wine, beers and exotic cocktails, such as the Taiwan On: a sweet mix of coconut, key lime, Batavia and Thai basil. Tiger Mama is open all through the week.
Excellent food and great ambiance. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you Asian food!
Great ambiance and total representation of Chef Tiffani. I had a chance to meet her and see her speak. Loud flavors and great tasting food.
Wonderful food. Server was helpful in choosing among the many interesting dishes. The restaurant, though, was too noisy.
Great flavors, polite service, just a little expensive. Definitely not for everyday dining. It was a great choice for a celebration. We will be back.
It was wondered an unique food.
Food was very tasty! Loved it.
Food, service and ambience was very good. Wish the noise level was slightly less. It was hard to hear each other
It was amazing. Only improvement is we started at the bar and it was clunky to transition the ticket.
Tiger Mama is a terrific restaurant! We highly recommend it.
Really great drinks & appetizers.
Just eat them and drink the good beers and hard apple cider
The fried rice was not good. We had the one with sausage and it tasted old.
Enjoyed trying Tiger Mama. The food was very good with a lot of flavor. I would recommend trying different appetizers. It is smaller portioned but the price is not bad. It is a food exploration that I enjoyed.
We had to leave because they were forcing customers to purchase more food than necessary. And we got a pretty bad table.
Excellent noodle dishes but be careful, some are spicy! They were accomodating for a picky eater too. Creative and tasty dishes!
Stopped here while visiting from NC. Legit one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
Great service and some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had.
Anice in the drunken noodles was too much for me. The rest of the food was pretty mediocre as well.
The food was delicious. The wait on drinks and the lack of having a server check on us was the biggest thing stopping 5 stars. We would have bought several drinks as it was a birthday but only had one due to lack of service.
Excellent food! We sat at the bar, our bartender was amazing. He helped us pick out our drinks and our food. We would 100% go back again!
Always really enjoy Tiger Mama. I'd love to the chef develop new dishes (as I go there a lot). The brunch dim sum cart does add some variety, but it doesn't come around very frequently and seems like somewhat of an afterthought to the usual menu. But the fact that I keep going back says a lot!!
The food and drinks were incredible. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday and he lived it. The service was excellent and they made us feel so welcome!
The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. Both strong and flavorful
Absolutely delicious. The Coconut curry that came with the brown butter laksa was a favorite of our group. Everything we had was amazing.
First, the good. Love the atomosphere. The service was excellent. I like the drink Calypso Collins that I had. The food on the other hand was something to be desired. I had the $70 Tiger Duck. It was pretty bland. The flavors in the Singapore Street Noodles did not go well together. The Coconut Chili Shrimp was passable. I'd say, if you're going for drinks and atmosphere, this is a great place. If you want food, better off going to Chinatown or elsewhere.
The restaurant is a decent attempt of Night + Market Song in LA. The menu (on paper) and space give it the opportunity to be akin to a restaurant like that. However, the flavors seems to deliver a 50% commitment to authenticity and like many "fusion" restaurants, they dumb it down in fear of overwhelming their audience. My two cents to the group will be to "trust" what you are doing and deliver on the vision that you started with.
Super friendly staff, great food (we were there for brunch and enjoyed the dim sum cart - fun!) and a really great value overall. Appreciate the attention to a kitchen appreciation fee, as well. High time we make the service industry fair for all. Thank you for a great experience!
Really good! Fun atmosphere. Will go again soon Lots of choices
We love Tiger Mama and come here fairly often for drinks or dinner. But we’d never gone to brunch till now and highly recommend it. The crispy eggs with cauliflower kimchi and rice was incredibly good. We also really liked some of the small plates from the dim sum cart. Nice combination of dinner favorites and brunchy things.
Overly salty and oily food. The service was nonexistent and left my dining partner and I feeling awkward, as if we were inconveniencing our server. Overall terrible experience. We will never return.
A good stop before heading in to a Fenway game. Be sure to grab reservations as it would be a long wait, even at 5:30pm. Ask for the Tiki drink menu (not provided with the standard drink menu.) Great drink presentation - so, so flavor.
The food was AMAZING! So full of flavor and beautifully presented. I also loved the cocktail selection. Would 10/10 recommend!
Best place on earth.
My favorite places in the Fenway neighborhood. Generously portioned tapas place are incredible and service is always top notch.
Everything was so yummy! Service was excellent at the bar!
Delicious food. It’s a smaller and very specialized menu but everything we tried was really good and that atmosphere was really cool and fun
Food a little salty
Food was great although they were out of a few options on the brunch menu. The bacon and waffles were phenomenal, we lucked into ordering it because they were out of a couple of options we wanted to order. The drinks were decent. Prices are reasonable especially for the area. We would definitely come back, perhaps for dinner next time to try it out.
Be prepared to deal with very spicy food. If you love real Thai and Malaysian type food this is THE place for you!
MOther’s Day brunch was perfectly delicious and fun!
My family and I celebrated Mother’s Day and the food was good. I wish we were aware of the selective brunch menu because other option on your website looked amazing. The Dim Sum cart was great but I wish we understood our cute little waitress. She talked so low and fast that we just sort of chose options based on how it looked. There were 5 of us and my daughter had a chair connecting to our table. Sadly for her, Every waiter, waitress and cart bumped into her when walking by.
I’d love to come back for dinner, I’m sure it will be a different experience altogether!
Absolutely love this place
An extremely lively, popular, high end and high energy Asian fusion restaurant not far from Fenway park. Noisy, fun, great service, food and drinks. Popular with locals and guests alike. Dark, fun, varies ambiance, busy bar, exotic and "ordinary" food on a wide ranging menu, and excellent drinks. Good times, but NOT quiet and cozy...boisterous!
