Tierra Kitchen is all about the quality of the food. We feel our vegetarian dishes are packed with flavour, while being innovative, healthy and delicious. Tierra Kitchen celebrates an A1 location in the heart of Lyme Regis cultural quarter, alongside Town Mill Bakery and the Old Mill.

The restaurant has a warm, airy feel inside, while outside there is a sunny streamside terrace. It is comfortable, relaxed and unassuming with friendly and efficient service. Brunch/lunch means freshly prepared, flavour-packed dishes, great coffee, juices and 100% homemade cakes and pastries. Dinner means a weekly changing menu, original dishes and twists on classics, with a Spanish, French and North African influence. You can also enjoy the menu by sampling a range of tapas style or smaller dishes. These are complemented by a carefully chosen wine list.

The only downside was that around 80% of the menu had nuts, including all of the main courses. Even veggies have nut intolerance or allergies! The staff were flexible but it was a shame that no 'proper' main was available, instead we mixed and matched from the sides anf part of the main

Unusual vegetarian menu with delicious flavours. Service very good. Only disappointing thing was the table behind us were very loud moany customers which was difficult to drown out when trying to have a quiet meal!

Tierra kitchen is our favorite restaurant in the UK by far. Every time we eat there it's the best food we've ever had. Creative, totally delicious, locally sourced and healthy. Def recommended for anyone, veggie, vegan or not.

The appetizer, starter and main course was too similar - akin to stuffing balls. I had notified the kitchen that i am vegan and am allergic to mushrooms and I was still limited to one choice which was a little disappointing. We felt we were rushed and asked the waiter several times not to bring the courses out straight after each other. The choc, plum and walnut pud was scrumptious.

We were a fussy party consisting of two coaliacs, a vegan and a person with a nut allergy. The restaurant manager was very knowledgeable with these conditions and offered us alternative toppings etc for the various dishes, he even offered us gluten free bread. It really was a wonderful dining experience as we all felt confident that the delicious imaginitve food was fine for us. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, vegetarian or not.
