Brilliant views and great atmosphere. Friendly well trained staff. A few of the meals have been not to our liking but really good in general.

Great food and location. Could improve seating placement and arrangements - we had an early booking and there was only one other quite noisy couple and we were seated right next to them.

We ordered five entrees shared by three of us, and thoroughly enjoyed the taste and variation.

Was a regular here a few years ago and loved the food and service but very disappointed on Saturday because of very slow service.

First visit and certainly not the last. Our table of 4 thoroughly enjoyed the selection in the 3 course lunch menu. The presentation and delicious tasting food was savoured with relish. And what a wonderful view of the Pumicestone passage overlooking Bribie Island.

Went here while on holiday on the Sunshine Coast, for my birthday. Loved the venue, with views of the sea! Service was great - helpful, friendly and fun. Food was stunning - great options, all good. Would definitely go again.

We recently dined at Tides in celebration of a few birthdays in the month of July. We found the staff fantastic, the food was amazing and great value lunch special of three courses for $50. Highly recommend. The staff were happy for us to pause for 20 mins in between courses as we weren't in a rush so that mean't great quality time to catch up and share a few drinks looking at that amazing view over Bulcock Beach. Thanks so much for the hospitality.

Wonderful greeting followed by food that delights! Top this off with staff that are professional and can be humorous too! Just a total dining experience. Thanks Tides..

Tides Waterfront Dining lived up to our expectations as it had on a previous occasion. We would not hesitate to dine there again when we are in Caloundra. We then went on to a show at the Events Centre and were there with plenty of time to spare after enjoying a leisurely dinner at Tides.

Great ambience. Outside dining on deck out of full sun, lovely sea breeze. Very attentive and friendly waiters. Great food and good value. Will definitely be visiting again.

Service and food was spectacular. Service was outstanding didn’t want for anything all night. Food was delicious no wait perfect timing in between three dishes.

We received the promotional winter deal and felt like eating g out, so wasn’t for any particular reason other than we love Tides As usual we had fabulous, prompt table service and wonderful meals!

We had a lovely meal on Friday night. We took advantage of the June special - three courses for $55. All courses were good, but dessert was the best.
Would recommend.

It was easy to book and confirmation came via text and email quite quickly. Menu was online which gave me an idea of what was available as one of our party required GF meals.
We dined at lunchtime on a Friday but myself and one other arrived late as both of our Sat Navs took us to a different Esplanade, so use Google maps before you go.
The view was great and the table service was fast and efficient. We were given a gas heater at the table as it was a bit cold on the day.
I thought the meals were poor value for the price. I had the $39 two course special. The Hervey Bay Scallops entree came on the half shell (all three of them) with a bit of greenery and the Coral Coast Barramundi was a very small serve and any sides were extra.
My wife had the steak and it and the veg that came with it were warm at best.
The other meals at the table seemed just as scant.
I think restaurants watch too much "my kitchen rules" and want it to be all about presentation when to me it is all about the total dining experience including value.
I had mentioned in the booking that it was an anniversary for two of the party and a small desert with a sparkler came to our table which I thought was a nice touch.
I would recommend it as a nice place to eat but you might need a trip to the fish and chip shop before or after your meal.

We celebrated my Husbands birthday and order the 5 course Chefs tasting menu with wine and absolutely loved it. The food was superb, service is outstanding, setting is spectacular and overall Tides is a classy casual dining experience that will keep us coming back.

We had dinner on a cold night. A warm blanket was offered and gas heaters were available. Great touches. The menu was interesting and made for a difficult choice. The wines were also not the run of mill so I enjoyed letting the waiter make the decision for me. He was wonderful and so helpful. We chose the mixed entree tasting platter and it didn't disappoint. I had duck and my partner had red meat. My partner felt the chick peas were a little dry with the beef and I agreed having tasted them. This does not change our rating. Our meals were delicious. This is a restaurant where you can be spoiled with impressive wines and a well thought out menu.

The waiter was friendly and efficient. He was attentive without being obtrusive.

We had a great night out, it was a second choice as our usual place had a wedding but we definitely were not disappointed. The whole night worked out just great for us and we definitely will go there again and will definitely recommend to others. Thank you for a great night

We arrived an hour early and were welcomed in by the owner who was quietly spoken and courteous. He promptly put the heater on to warm the area. The meals arrived in suitable time and were explained by informative staff. The restaurant overlooks Bulcock beach. When we were finished we sought out the owner to personally thank him for his hospitality.

We have eaten here several times and always enjoy it.

Everything about this restaurant was amazing, the food, the ambience, the service. Will definitely be back again and will highly recommend to friends and family.

As usual our dinner didn't disappoint at Tides. We had the degustation tasting menu with matching wines. I had stupidly forgotten to tell them that we had someone in our party that was allergic to seafood when booking, but they went over and above to cater for this which they didn't have to. My friend was very grateful.
Outstanding service, the wines were beautifully matched to the food and the staff knew what they were talking about.
I highly recommend this restaurant and I'm grateful it's our 'go to' restaurant in Caloundra!!
