We have been going to Tides since it opened, interrupted only by the quarantine time. We have been back twice and there have been some changes in the menu and they no longer serve sushi, but the food is consistently good. The service was excellent as usual and i highly recommend this local gem for anytime dining.
Friendly and fast service. Mediterranean Salmon is not listed on the menu but used to be. They will still make it if you ask. It’s great! The combo pan roast was excellent too. Great dining experience!
Food was great, our waitress and the service was fantastic. A little pricey but worth it.
We chose to sit at the bar, Great service, started with the N.E. Clam Chowder, this was a great choice, hot and tasty. Southern fried Shrimp, and Lobster Roll were our dinner choices, they were excellent, would choose again.
Not a good experience, our sever was rude. Would recommend or come here again.
Our server, Jon was very helpful suggesting entrees and wines. Thank you, Jon.
Just everyday dining. Disappointed that the crab special I’ll has been taken off the menu by stations casino.
We recently returned to Tides after some time due to the pandemic and we had a really outstanding meal! I had excellent Cioppino and I can’t wait to go back for it again. The tables were spaced well and even the oyster bar was spaced. They no longer serve sushi and I can understand why since the chefs would be right there in your face. The menu seems smaller but all in all I really enjoyed my visit.
The Original Tides with Sushi bar was fantastic along with the quality of food. The new tides is disappointing, the food is average but expensive. Drinks expensive but no or very little alcohol. Clam chowder was pasty with little flavor. It's disappointing that the change was made, Tides was a place that was difficult to get into because the food off the charts and now you don't really need a reservation just walk on in.
Sorry to say, I did not like my meal and my tummy really did not like the New Orleans Gumbo. Very little crab and shrimp but lots of Okra and stuff that I could not recognize.
The menu has changed and the only fish is salmon , they used to have the best halibut snd crab legs
We we’re running late due to traffic but staff was so accommodating, host, server and food was perfect. Thank you!
First time there. Was skeptical about New Orleans cuisine at a Casino setting. This place did not disappoint, went alone and sat at the bar. Server Liza was amazing, very knowledgeable, friendly, knew the menu and had great recommendations. Cook, did not get his name, was phenomenal. He cooked like it was passion not just following a recipe card. Food was impeccable. Little to no critique on it because flavors were great. Definitely a good date night spot or just a meal for anytime.
This place is awesome. The food is spot and and the entire staff is amazing. Definitely will be back.
Great food, good service and value,
Service was excellent. We were greeted and seated immediately. Anne is a five-star waitress.
Food was good but not great. After all, seafood simply cannot be truly fresh when in land-locked Nevada.
The beignets were great; but they're so good, there is no need for the raspberry and chocolate sauces.
They’ve changed their menu of some of the local favorites and eliminated the sushi bar. Big mistake in my opinion.
Fantastic waitress,great food, delicious desserts
Salmon was delicious and service was great!
I had the cappuccino and was ok. I can make it better at home. Service was ok, but also short staffed due to hiring shortage.
Jan is the best.
My parents had the mixed pan roast( enough for 2) loved it, we also had the Fritto Misto( fried scallops , calamari and shrimp) it was good for a starter. I had the Salmon with the Bourbon glaze and it was great , nice helping of green beans and carrots and the seasoned rice accompanied the dish great.
Sherilyn(I think) our server was nice and attentive to our needs and made good suggestions
Our server Janet was very nice and attentive.
Cobb salad was yummy and hubby’s salmon was great.
They changed the menu and that was very disappointing to me as I went in for Sashimi and they don't have it anymore.
As always food and service was amazing - highly recommend the seafood Cobb salad and combo pan roast - delish!
The Caesar salad was tired, wilted and soaked in dressing. The seafood wasn’t good: mussels chewy and tasteless, shrimp seemed to come from frozen section at Costco and the crab legs were fishy and dry.
It was kind of expensive too!
Just very disappointed with the new menu. Miss the sushi so don't come as often.
The service was great. My husband ordered cobb salad with blue cheese on the side and it came on the side but also was in the salad so I switched with him since I like
blue cheese. I would like to see a couple reasonably price sandwiches or small plates of fish and chips, 1/2 order of the pan roast etc. Wine list could also be improved.
Seafood platter, clam linguine, combination pan roast was absolutely DELICIOUS! Not crowded! Staff service was excellent! It is not a buffet style setting
Overpriced. Especially considering cafeteria style seating.
Only when so busy, service can be frustrating.
3 stars overall only when very busy. Management may need a better plan for busy days.
Used to be great, now only good. Once, had the best fish and chips anywhere. The fish filets were hand cut and perfect. Now, looks like Mrs. Pauls supplies them. Disgraceful for an upscale seafood bar. Prices continue to climb. Not so long ago the pan roast was $21 and now is $29, same with other menu items. Pan roast still very good, though, even if they reduced the size and only one scoop of rice, compared to two before. Really, scimping on rice! Tried the Maine lobster sandwich, and it was okay, but again, for $29, it was light on lobster, maybe 4-5 ounces. I used to suggest this place all the time, but now, it's nothing special. Thanks Station Casino bean counters.
Shrimp was delicious and big
Hadn’t eaten here in a couple of years. Disappointed to see the sushi no longer on the menu. We ordered the fritto misto which was pretty large and tasty. After seeing how big it was the wife decided to have a shrimp Caesar salad and I tried the ettoufe with shrimp and rice. I honestly missed the sashimi and sushi so I won’t be going back if the menu stays the same. Service was very good.
Jan is the best!
Crab Pan Roast. Insanely good! Huge portion. So worth it
Our server Anne was attentive and nice. Great place for date night
While I love Tides, I have to say that the prices have gone up $6-9 an entree and they have SHORTENED up the menu big time. Sushi bar was taken out and appetizers are very very limited. We are disappointed in the changes.
Food and service very good, and you had my res. I forgot how bad the noise level is in the restaurant. I wear hearing aids, but I had a hard time hearing the person dining with me because of restaurant noise. I felt it was much louder than the casino.
always great, i usually order the trout or catfish, but not available at this time. Got the
crab stew, great,
