   Went with friends on a Wednesday night for a casual dinner. The restaurant wasn't crowded; a reservation wasn't necessary. Our server was lovely, attentive and friendly; checked on us numerous times. The menu options are limited. We started with chips & guacamole; both were very good, especially the chips. All 4 of us ordered the chicken quesadilla, which was offered as an entree. The presentation was nice but the only accompaniments were sour cream and salsa, no rice, beans or greens. The portion was appropriate for an entree and 3 of us took some home. The chicken was well seasoned and tasty. I'd go back for drinks at the bar and appetizers, but probably not dinner. Just not enough options.

   We did not realize that this restaurant was part of a motel. It was completely empty except for 1 other table when we arrived. The server was very sweet and made note of my food allergy, which I appreciated. 2 of us ordered the chicken quesadilla. The cheese was an odd texture- like chunky cheese whiz or cottage cheese. And it had a very sharp taste. I asked if it could be cooked a little bit longer, thinking it just wasn’t melted enough. They were kind enough to make a new one. But it was equally chunky. I honestly couldn’t eat it and neither could my daughter. I feel bad giving them a bad review bc they were so nice and the decor was lovely but I think it’s only others know that it is not what it looks like online.

   The food was horrific. The complimentary nachos were stale and very hard. We ordered a nacho appetizer and again the nachos were hard and stale. Two of us had the chicken quesadilla, it was tough to chew and where was the chicken. Not good at all. Three of our guests had tacos they were the highlight but just ok. This place needs help!

   A tiny space off the lobby does not feel like a real restaurant. Also the food was very subpar and just as expensive as an actual restaurant.

   We were extremely happy with our dinner at Tides. The flavors chosen by the chef turn what could have been standard Mexican cuisine into something special. Everyone enjoyed their meal (party of 9) and the service could not have been better.

   The food was fantastic. The margaritas were exceptionally well made, and the service was brilliant. We didn't know this gem was so close to our Cape house. We’ll be back again soon!

    Food was good and service was great. There were people at the bar who were very loud and really disrupted the entire dining area. Other than that everything was great!
