Everything was perfect, from the tiger prawns to the fish and chips (not oily, perfect batter, delicious fish), truly good clam chowder. Attentive service in a very lovely surrounding.

This was our first time to Tides. We were celebrating our 51st wedding anniversary. The dining ambiance, which was nicely enhanced by Tides' music selections, and menu selections helped my wife and I to enjoy a totally awesome experience! My wife ordered the Blackened Halibut entree, and I ordered the filet mignon entree. Both were prepared expertly and perfectly! Definitely the best tasting, CAB medium-rare filet that I remember eating. We finished with some great tasting dessert and cappuccino. Our Waiter's name was Daniel, and he was pleasant, professional and attentive. We enjoyed chatting with him, and we also never felt rushed through the courses. We would also like to give e a shout for pleasantly helping us in advance to select our seating. I am confident that we will return to Tides many times in the future. Bye for now, Kathy and Dave.

An unforgettable seafood experience From the first sip of *The Low Tide* cocktail to the last bite of the buttery **Sea Bass**, our dinner at Tides was a delight. The **Prawn Tacos** stood out with their tender, juicy fillings, while the **Clam Chowder** was rich, comforting, and perfectly seasoned. Kristen recommended quite a few dishes, including the **Albariño** and **Duckhorn Sauvignon Blanc**, which paired perfectly with our meal. The ambiance is stylish and welcoming, and the coastal decor enhances the dining experience without being over the top. While the **90 minute dining time** encourages a brisk pace, the quality of the food and service still made for a great evening. I will definitely return, perhaps earlier in the evening so that I can enjoy the meal at a more relaxed pace. Tides offers exceptional seafood and service, making it a standout in Danville. Highly recommended for delicious, well-crafted meals.

Pros: Service and the halibut (only) were great - no complaints Cons: the Brussel sprouts as appetizer and the asparagus that came with the halibut were overcooked and oven roasted to death - why not sauté instead and have the vegetables keep their structure. The knives that were provided were not sharp enough to cut the bread, asparagus, or Brusells sprouts. The rice and corn that came with the halibut made for a poor pairing - the rice tasted like spackle. The dish that the halibut was served on was of an odd shape where you could not rest or balance the knife on the rim of the dish. This may seem picky, but it is the little details that are important and make the evening memorable.

There were four in our party celebrating one of the friend's birthday. All four were pleased with food, service, atmosphere, etc. We will go again.

As I stated in previous review, we went back to Tides. Wife ordered the tiger prawn tacos, preceded by a Caesar salad and oysters. She claimed the prawns were excellent. I had the scallop risotto, which I found to be outstanding. It came to the table very hot, which, for me, is a sine qua non. The flavors were great, and the plump scallops were sautéed to perfection. Oysters were fresh and delicious. We will be back.

Had a lovely evening on the outside patio. A craft cocktail, a glass of wine, very fresh seafood, elegantly plated. Friendly, enjoyable atmosphere. You should visit.

The service was overall excellent, although the first course was served a little too fast - we were still enjoying our cocktails. The food was excellent. Highly recommend the Clam Chowder, Salads, and Sea Bass. We will return.

The service was excellent. The menu was very interesting, but some of the tastes were not to my liking. The lobster tail had something in the drawn butter that did not appeal to me. We thought we were getting a dozen oysters for $42 But it turned out to be $59. I presume it was because the oysters we selected were more expensive, although that was not obvious. they were very nice and recognizing my wife’s birthday. we will go there again and try something else on the menu.
