TIDES at Sheraton PCB
It took 15 min to be seated despite our reservation which was for 7:45. It then took an additional 45 minutes to get our drinks. Our food arrived at 9:00, 15 min before our reservation was supposed to end. Our food was Luke-warm, the potatoes were fake cool and lumpy, and the meat sauce and juices were all mixed with the sides which made them taste weird and gross.
Nice restaurant but lousy manager. Made the reservation as anniversary dinner on New Years Eve. The food was well prepared and tasty. We ordered a wine to go with the meal. In 20 minutes when the salad arrived we had no wine. The manager kept the only key to the wine locker and was not available for 20 minutes and when I asked to speak with him, he refused to talk.
Excellent service! Excellent food! We will be happy to come back.
Nikki was our server and did an excellent job. She had fresh bread made especially for us. Salad was huge and fresh, Mahi was good, somewhat dry and bland but beautifully presented. Braised short ribs were disappointing - dry and chewy. Martinis are $5 on Mondays and were excellent. Place was empty with only one other couple there. Ambiance was too bright. Suggest turning the lights down and putting candles on the tables to make a more intimate setting.
I was going to give 4 vs 5 stars because there was a mix up with someone’s order. But that seemed unfair as it was handled well. Pleased with the overall experience!
We liked the view and food, although I thought it was a bit pricey. $10 for a piece of cheesecake!! It was our anniversary, and usually you get a dessert to share. Instead, we paid $10.
The meat and cheese appetizer was really great. And filling. Great drinks too.
Menu looked promising. We sat; ordered drinks. Ordered an appetizer. The appetizer arrived (Kalbi Ribs) which had a nice presentation, but was room temperature. While eating the appetizer; the salad and main courses were brought to the table at the same time. I asked the waiter to take he main courses back since we were still eating the appetizer. He commented that the steaks might get tough waiting under the red lamp. I suggested that since it is not normal to get the main course at the same time as the salad and appetizer; that we would expect the restaurant to cook fresh steaks (which they did not). A dinner for 2 was $125.00 not including tip. For this price; we were disappointed.
When we were seated two glasses on table had old lipstick on the rim ( which at that point we should have walked out because shows overall poor manager) undercooked, cold & tasteless entree. Lettuce in salad ( advertised as a chopped salad but was a regular torn not dressed properly. Chef should Google chopped salad) was not fresh. Disappointing and definitely not what would consider Sheraton standards.
Tides at the Sheraton is a great place to get lunch or dinner, even if you are not staying at the Sheraton. My daughter and I got a table by the window and were able to look out onto the water. The food was great, and even though our server was new, he really tried to make it all work well. Highly recommend.
Not enough servers working- service was lacking and food had obviously been sitting for awhile by the time we received it. Not worth the price.
Found this restaurant looking for something casual and close to our condo. Fit the bill perfectly.
Food and service both very good.
Cook must have been on drugs
Excellent experience. Fantastic variety and quality of food.
Superb service, great value.
And take a pleasant stroll along the boardwalk afterwards.
Really a great way to spend Mother's Day!
Great job Sheraton!
Food was fantastic, drinks were well done and you simply can’t beat the view. Very casual and relaxed dining experience
The soup was so bad we had to send it back.
The appetizer came at the same time as the meal.
It took a long time for our meals to be served.
Below average tasting food.
We will not go back!
SHE crab soup was amazing. Everything was excellent
Food was horrible and it was overpriced.
Our server was very personable and made our dining experience fun.
Restaurant was beautiful, had a great seat by the bay and watched the sunset. Server was kind, but was the only one at the time, so was stretched for a Saturday evening. Water glass came with “floaties” in it. Sent back for replacement. Husbands steak came out bland looking-no color at all, almost gray. My miso sea bass was completely raw. Had to send back. I received my food by the time my husband had already finished his dinner. Tasted good, but disappointing considering how much the meal cost.
The service & good were top flight! My experience with hotel food often has been hit or miss!
When you make reservations at what you thought was going to be in a nice restaurant for pleasant evening with friends and are seated in the bar area with loud flat screens all set to football games because evidently the restaurant isn’t open, it sucks. Food was OK but not hot when served, menus were never picked up by server so we ate around them & there was zero ambiance. Food was overpriced. Disappointed to say the least.
Ate their Thanksgiving buffet...very pleased. Food was excellent, so was service. Our first visit to the Sheraton Tides restaurant and we plan to return.
The food was fair - the lobster bisque tasted like Campbell soup - Chilean sea bass was tough. The waitress was excellent. They need a new chef! Would not recommend for dinner.
Very overpriced . Salad was very plain and expensive. Sea Bass was okay . Service was slow and there was only 2 other tables
The restaurant was not at all busy. The service was really slow and the wait for our food was ridiculously long, especially considering that out of the 7 meals we ordered 3 were way undercooked. Our server was polite, but in our opinion the manager should have come out to address the situation with the wait time and the food not the server. The server did give us 20 percent off the bill, that again in our opinion was overpriced to begin with. Since we were staying at the resort, we had reservations for the next night as well and we cancelled those! We were not going to risk another night with overpriced and undercooked food.
Very friendly and helpful service. Tasty and creative menu - nice upscale yet casual place. Gnocchi with truffle and lobster a must, kid friendly options as well.
The food was the best part of the evening. I wish we would've known it was at a hotel. It was a little awkward when we showed up and were the only people there. We sat on the patio that overlooked the water which was nice, but the mosquitoes were insane! The food was very delicious though and it offset the ambiance. It was a date with my wife so we did enjoy the time to just chat in a quiet environment away from our kids for awhile.
