It was great! Food was excellent and fast! Highly recommend
The food was delicious but expensive. We got the bread tray, which was stale, so I sent it back. Otherwise the food was fresh with delicious and unique flavors.
Had a fabulous time. We arrived early to our reservation and they had a wonderful window table ready and waiting for us! Yummy food - perfect date night ❤️
We enjoyed our quick visit for drinks and appetizers before a show at the Paramount. We squeaked in just in time for last-minute happy hour order, and our food came out quickly. Our only complaint was the chicken 'street tacos' were surprisingly bland and not served with any salsa or sour cream (we had to ask). The lobster mac & cheese was excellent, the rocket salad was very good and the scallops were top notch! Our server was attentive and we had no trouble making it to our show on time. It is not a quiet place for conversation though, felt a bit like having to shout across the table, but other than that, high marks. Reservations needed on a show night.
Just meh. Not horrible not great. But for the money I guess I would’ve expected more.
The place was ok, the food was quite good. But, I am sorry, $93 for a cheeseburger, fish and ships, a coke and one glass of Chardonnay is excessive.
The food was good and had a fresh taste. It is quite close to the Paramount which makes it perfect before going to the theater. The menu is limited to almost entirely seafood. It is not an inexpensive restaurant but not hugely overpriced either.
Food was underwhelming, service a bit slow, on the upside there was a nice upbeat vibe going with ambient lighting . I would likely try the other restaurant at the hotel next time.
Food is great! Tidal is our ‘go to’ when we stay at the Camlin. Ate their twice this weekend. Dinner and after Kraken game. Service is learning. Be patient. They are all very personable and want to make you happy. Fresh oysters were outstanding and they have a blueberry martini type drink that is divine. Bread service so worth it-actually everything we’ve tried was yummy.
This is an excellent restaurant with amazing food and service. This is our second time there and I think it'll be our go to spot from now on.
Black cod done to perfection. Horrible cold draft above us so it was very cold. They were very busy so service probably wasn't up to par.
4 of us came for dinner before a show, arriving 2+ hours early to make sure we wouldn't be rushed - and yet the service was so slow and inattentive we still ended up scrambling to make it. We made the mistake of ordering the $7 bread (it HAS to be something special, right?) and it was like a dried-out room-temperature sourdough loaf from Safeway (which took 20 minutes to arrive). Two of our party had the (overpriced) halibut, and BOTH arrived cold and overcooked - but it took so long to arrive we didn't have time to send them back. Not even close to enough time to consider dessert. I had high hopes for a specialty place focusing on a small, upscale fresh seafood menu but we all left really disappointed.
Convenient place to grab a nice bite before a show at Paramount. Fish was cooked perfectly. Drinks would’ve been very overpriced, if not for happy hour.
A great spot to grab dinner before a show at the Paramount!
Great food and service. Beautiful decor and normal noise level. Recommend
Delicious food, nice ambiance, modern design. We had a lovely evening.
Menu is rather limited and the portions on the small side. Salmon on the cob salad was very good, just not that much of it. Bread does not come with a meal and is $7. Highly recommend the salted caramel mousse. Service was good but a 15% tip is automatically added to your bill.
We ate at Tidal+ after attending a show at Paramount. The service and food were both great. We will definitely return again soon.
Very limited menu selection with over priced items. Watch out for the 15% service charge they add to the bill.
We went for a light dinner before the going to a musical at the Paramount! It was a perfect location for that. It was a wonderful dinner with delicious food and great service. We were there in time to enjoy some happy hour specials. The New England chowder is to die for as were the scallops, though quite expensive for the amount. Our server, Marty, was friendly and informative as well as attentive. Was a great experience!
Everything here was just ok. The fish and chips were the standout. If you find yourself here, order those!
Tidal+ has attentive service without being obtrusive. Their food is excellent and prepared quite delicately. They can crisp the flesh of halibut or salmon beautifully while leaving the interior just right. Accompaniments are very well chosen and presentation is beautiful. Sauces are delicately applied and very complex without being too dominant. Their appetizer was unique with a cornbread cream, cucumbers, and a well chosen set of vegetable accompaniments. The chocolate dessert was complex and powerful without going dense.
Fantastic food that greatly exceeded expectations for restaurant in a major hotel.
Service was awkward. Seafood chowder is still delicious and was the highlight of the meal. Otherwise, they weren’t able to make two of the signature cocktails on the menu and the two desserts we had we pretty blah.
The staff was most helpful. Our waiter was the best. My wife and I enjoyed a variety of oysters (dozen) and drinks (Man n Jacks and Rosé).
The fish was ok, a little to much oil…the Lobster mac was good. Great atmosphere and staff and service was great.
Urbane / Tidal is a good place that is comfortable, convenient (across the street), I’m familiar w the staff (they are awesome), and the ambiance is nice. My only issue is they need to determine who/what they are going to be. What is your identity? Are you a seafood restaurant or not? Because if you are, I would hope your menu changes to reflect that... ie shrimp cocktail, mussels, grilled/fried calamari, more fish options, even sushi. If you are not a “seafood” restaurant, then the menu is ok... but just please do something about the terrible new “fries”. You used to have wonderful French fries, but now you are trying to pass off these thin, crispy, shoe string potato chips sticks as French fries and it is NOT working. No one is happy about this... fire whomever came up w the idea. They suck... especially with fish (and chips)???
The food was great, April our server was terrific and management came out when we had a question regarding a dessert. Very glad to see this location open as a new seafood restaurant.
Hi Jeff, Thanks so much for your review! It was a pleasure meeting you both and we look forward to seeing you again soon! Thanks, Kyle Jasinski TIDAL+ Restaurant Manager
First time gamble on an anniversary dinner. Paid off very handsomely. The meal was definitely the highlight of the whole weekend.
Tried multiple dishes and all were palate pleasing. Can't wait to go back again.
The restaurant has a entree menu limited to two fish dishes, salmon and halibut. Great for us, as we were wanting local and fresh fish while in Seattle and a big reason we chose this restaurant. We ordered both dishes. Both the salmon and halibut came out overcooked and rubbery. With a premium price paid for the entrees, I returned my halibut. My wife decided to keep her salmon. The halibut came back nice and flakey. It’s unfortunate that the kitchen on this night overcooked expensive and fresh fish. The dozen oysters ordered were very good.
Service was fantastic, start to finish, including the redo of the halibut. If we came back, would have to mention cooking concerns at the start.
The service was excellent. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was great, the Tidal Bluetini was delicious and the Halibut was perfectly cooked. Great experience!
Hi Scott, Thanks so much for your review! We're so glad you had a wonderful time, and we look forward to seeing you again soon! -Kyle Jasinski, Tidal+ Restaurant Manager
Very limited menu.
Hi Andy, Thanks for your review. While we only offer a limited menu at the moment, we are hoping to expanding both our serving periods and menu in the near future. We hope you join us again when we have new offerings! -Kyle Jasinski, Tidal+ Restaurant Manager
The food and service were good. The selection is a little limited, but that is hopefully temporary.
My second visit to this restaurant, and it was less impressive than the first time.
We had a late 10 PM reservation, which was available on Open Table. Once seated, it took a while to even get our water and initial drink order. Things went down hill from there.
They were out of one of the two entrees on the menu (Salmon) so we were left to the Halibut. Were told it could be prepared in the same style as the Salmon, but it did not come out that way.
Felt rushed from the moment we started to order, with the bar closing for us at 11 (although as we left at 11:30, the bartender was still serving those at the bar). We were rushed to order dessert when our incorrectly-prepared fish arrived, with no pause at all between any of our courses.
The food that was available to order was quite good. The service was spotty but friendly.
Perhaps they should cut off reservations at 9:30 if they are unable to provide a dining experience appropriate for a $300+ check??
Creative bartender making interesting concoctions. The SeaGarita with its sea foam topper makes for an amazing summer drink. Well-presented, fresh oysters and the ceviche as starters and lobster mac and cheese for an entrée, with a salted caramel choco hazelnut mousse and a Flan martini as a dessert. Hardwood floors and casual hotel environment drive the noise level but the layout provides quite a few options for differential seating. 15% service fee included.
Very noisy. Poor value. Limited menu. Not recommended.
Ecstatic they have reopened.
Overall, boring hotel with mediocre food and over priced.
Great place for fun drinks and oysters! Our server Stephanie was super attentive and happy. Would certainly come back!
Thanks to all.
It was a great place for dinner. The menu was limited but very good. There is not a ton of tables so if you have a big party over 5 I recommend calling. Seafood chowder was so yummy. My halibut entrée was also delicious.
