Great margaritas, delicious small plates including roasted cauliflower and very attentive servers. Definitely fun evening!

The bar side of the restaurant was buzzing in a nice, not too noisy way. Our server was excellent. Everything from coctails to apprtizers and entree were distinctive and delicious!

The food here is sub par and tries too hard to be fusion. The prices are ridiculous for the size of the dishes. The drinks were just ok. Our server was amazing and very accommodating. That was the one plus.

Great restaurant with a fabulous menu. You can have their tasting menu if you have two people. Service was wonderful and the server help greatly in our choices. Good wine list. Recommend reservation.

We loved our night at Tico! It was a great place to have old friends get together. We had a private table in the back which gave us great space to talk and catch up! Food was fantastic and great sizes for sharing!

Perfect evening in Tico. The food was so fresh, everything was delicious. The service was really good too, as was the atmosphere and music. We never had to ask for refills of water or anything. Perfect for a date or groups. The waitress recommended between 2-5 plates per person as it’s tapas style. We had 6 between us and that was ideal. Loved everything but highlights would be the duck confit quesadillas and the cabbage almond salad! Will be back!

Got the "chef's choice" menu where the chef chooses what you eat. Everything was tasty ... esp liked the dish with Szechwan and beets!

Tico is an absolute favorite of ours! The hospitality is incredible and not to mention the manchego cheese is absolutely to die for. This has been our spot for anniversaries forever and I would reccomend this to anyone who enjoys tapas and great drinks

Tico continues to impress. I've never been disappointed by anything I've ordered there, and tonight was no exception. The tender pork tacos were delicious, with pork so tender that I barely had to chew it. Tico's Mac and Cheese is creamy, with a delicious saltiness from the manchego and chorizo. We played capsaicin roulette with the shishido peppers that were warm and crisp, with some being powerfully spicy, and others being mild and slightly bitter (which was not a bad thing). Tonight, they were running a special of fried brussel sprouts that were so earthy and delicious, with a hint of cumin and pistachio. And the best dish of the night was the duck confit quesadilla, which was delightfully rich and savory. Our server James was excellent and gave us great recommendations and flawless service. I can't wait to return.

I met three colleagues for lunch at Tico's. I had never met them in person before - Tico's was in a handy location, quiet enough for conversation, good food and an awesome waiter.

I've dined here twice prior to my latest experience and they have all been great. However, this past weekend it was clear the quality of the food has gone down a lot. I'm not sure what's changed but it's a shame because it has a great overall vibe and is decorated really cool. I got a margarita and it came in a glass that you would be served in at a bar in Fanueil. My friend's first drink was so watered down. Our chicken tacos and chorizo dish were horrible. The guacamole and fried manchego were ok but honestly could have gotten them at a place that serves $1 margaritas. However, the service was outstanding. We had such a phenomenal waitress who did not charge us for the first bad drink and chicken tacos that my friend barely touched. She was so nice and wanted honest feedback. I sincerely hope the food improves because as I stated early, it's a fun place to dine at.

Mac and cheese was good, guacomole was good, and drinks were good. The beef tacos and tuna ceviche definitely were not fresh. Fresh tuna has no fishy taste and theirs was pretty fishy and the beef tasted like it was sitting out or something. Two drinks each and 4 tapas, $150 later, won't be going back. Will gladly spend whatever amount of money on awesome food, this place just isn't worth it.

Very nice waiter. Unfortunately, the chef needs to come back and check on his people because they are clearly not executing his vision: A striped bass with a caper sauce was over cooked and didn't come with a caper sauce. Iced tea tasted like Lipton's. Chicken paillard salad needed more seasoning. Ceviche was good but would not return just for that. Expensive for what you get. Once was enough for me.

Hadn't been to Tico in about 4-5 years, but it was previously a spot I loved. Met with friends on a slow week night. The food was decent, however it didn't totally knock my socks off. We got a lot of the tacos. Maybe I would have been happier to do more of the tapas. Our waitress was nice, but not very attentive. It suited us fine as we were able to hang out for 3 hours, and we still had to flag someone down to get the check. So I'd go back again, but not raving about it.

Ordered just a salad and lettace was soggy and mushy. How does a cook or a chef even let that go out of the kitchen? I mean really, this isn't even cooking, this is the easy stuff. Fresh food and presentation are so vitally important. Bad experience.

Tico continues to be one of several restaurants that you can depend on for a nice dining experience. We had the striped special and it was truly out of this world. Vibrant crowd, great ambiance - just a great place that always hits their mark. Not to forget a fabulous tequila selection.

Our group of 5 enjoyed multiple tastes ranging from spinach salad (a bit atypical for tapas) to crispy calamari to hamachi crudo. Good serving sizes and food was fresh. A couple service mishaps, readily addressed by our waitstaff.

Delicious fresh ingredients with full size shrimp in their tacos make them a must order. They also let you choose how many you want. They are not large and I ordered two, could have easily eaten three. Will look forward to my next visit.
