Great food, well edited wine list... they have done a great job of adapting to Covid-19. Excellent value for money for New York
Spacious outdoor dining. Confident Covid precautions. Same excellent food and service!
Loved my experience at this restaurant. All the staff are super warm and friendly. I wish I remembered my waiters name so i could shout him out (tall, slim guy, dark hair w/glasses you sre the absolute best!) Loved the food and their Sangria is superb. Will be back again to try the rest of the menu!
Best food and best service. Steven was so perfect
Happy they are back. They can frankly seat more people outside on the street than they ever could in the small restaurant. Food is excellent as always. Properly portion tapas, salads, and entrees for sharing, so you can get a variety. Hope the full menu will return soon.
Always good and reliable...
Just love Tia Pol, it is my go to restaurant in Chelsea. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is excellent! Shrimp in oil, lemon chicken are both highly recommended dishes.
Good food and good outside dining atmosphere. Croquetas are a must have
I love Tia Pol. Great outdoor dining setup and the food is always delicious. We had ham croquettes, lamb skewers, shrimp, and a few other fantastic bites.
Love Tia Pol. Food is always good. Reasonably priced too.
Fantastic food and cocktails. Highly recommend. And doing a great job on COVID safety precautions too.
Absolutely fantastic as always. Been coming here since it opened. Soooo happy they’re back!!
We LOVE this restaurant. We’ve been here once before and the food is always awesome. I have food allergies and they’ve been super accommodating—which those with food allergies know can be hard to find in a restaurant. The only thing we didn’t love was that they kinda forgot about us and didn’t come to take our order for like 20 minutes after sitting down which felt like a long time. But under the current conditions, everything was great. Thanks for being open!
Every dish is fantastic. This is one of the gems of West Chelsea. Never had a not-great meal here
while the service was phenomenal (considering the amount of people there), the food was only ok and slightly overpriced. the croquettes and lamb pinchos were very tasty, but the other plates (chorizo, garbanzos, can’t remember what else) were mediocre.
Great food and service was on point! Happy to see them reopened for outdoor dining!
We were very happy that Tia Pol reopened. We used to go there regularly when we were in NYC 8 years ago and lived in Chelsea, and continue going when we returned this year and lived in the village.
The food is really good (I only missed the fava-beans spread this time..) the atmosphere is relaxed and the people working there are very nice.
Unfortunately we have to leave NYC, but look forward to returning to Tia Pol when we are back.
Always yummy food and delicious drinks. Good to see it come back!
Service was stellar and food portions were pleasantly surprising as in copious. I’ve eaten out frequently since dining came back and can’t think of a better experience all around than Tia Pol.
My go to neighborhood restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
A neighborhood gem! So glad to see they're back <3
Excellent food, wine, service & atmosphere. My favorite Tapas place in the city!!!
We walked in slightly disappointed as it's not big with uncomfortable high tops/stools to sit at. I convinced my husband to stay - the food was very good and the server was very knowledgeable (but seemed to be covering most of the restaurant). Okay value for the food. I would recommend it if you're looking for quite casual and a bit noisy, but seeking good tapas.
My favorite part of our dining experience was the service. The staff on 3/1/2020 at 12:30 PM were spectacular. They made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to assure a pleasant experience. Also, the food was delicious, try the chorizo, and the lamb skewers. I will definitely be back.
Have eaten at Tia Pol several times and it never disappoints. Some of our favorites include the garlic shrimp and lamb kebabs, but this time we ordered several specials and they were especially outstanding: flank steak with mushrooms was incredibly lean and flavorful, roasted beet salad was amazing, and the noodles with shredded short rib was out of this world. Their wine list is also really great. I opted for the rose, which was crisp and dry and a great balance with the food. Others in our group enjoyed the sangria. Wasn't wild about the almond cake for dessert, but the fried custard was a winner. Service is always friendly and on top of it, but realize that the place is always busy and they can get a little overwhelmed. It all works though! Highly recommend.
Menu and drink selection strikes the perfect balance to satisfy most diners. The front seating is perfect for a date/friend dining and back room with two large tables would be great for a larger group. Each table can seat six and possibly squeeze another person or two.
Great, authentic tapas with a classy, low key vibe.
I love this place! The food is amazing
Excellent tapas and wine selection. My friends and i have been there several times and it’s consistently great. And the folks there who tackle care of you are genuine - they really make sure your having a great time. Love the place! (To everyone there from Friday night - Thanks for making the birthday celebration so much fun. We had a great time. See you soon!)
Great place to catch up with a friend. We didn’t feel rushed, the food was great & the waiter was spot-on with our wine recommendation. Will definitely make this a regular spot!
Great hand out with friends. Excellent service and we were made to feel most welcome.
The food was delicious! Great service!
The tapas here were incredible and service was amazing! I specifically requested expedited service because we had to get to Sleep No More within an hour of sitting down and the server acknowledged my request was extremely attentive the whole time, making sure to keep us on schedule. I highly recommend this place for the incredible food and impeccable service!
This place is a gem. The meal, wine and service were fantastic! Looking forward to coming here again.
Happy to finally get a reservation! Innovative and delicious. Service could been a bit more attentive. Overall, delightful.
The food and service were excellent. Very cute ambience and variety of menu options. Service was excellent and the staff was very attentive. Great happy hours too. Will def come back
Food is amazing! A little loud, so go with friends with big voices...highly recommend the calamari in squid ink and the chicken liver mousse. Fabulous!!!
This place is amazing
Just love the food and service. Barrett our server is a gem! The wine and food is priced very reasonable.
Very good food served in a small but attractive room, good service, reasonable prices; we had deviled eggs, which were perfectly seasoned, delicious octopus and bean salad, jamon paquetitos, and a perfectly cooked, moist and tender beef short ribs served over swiss chard. Highly recommend.
