They are doing a buffet on that day, NO Ala carte menu. They should update the special event on open table to avoid disappointment and waste of a journey as I do not want a buffet dinner. So I had to change of plan to find another restaurant there ans then.
Coming into the restaurant, the atmosphere was relaxed, easy going. I no two of the waitresses and despite that, they still had quality customer service. My friend and I was seated, our waiter took our drink order and directed us to the buffet room. The food was local, it could have a bit of variety, for me, it could have had shrimps, pasta (not jus mac and cheese). I understand that people overseas need to try the locality of the hotel but what about locals who want to get that international all you can eat feel? The dessert was simple ... I was so full i couldn't eat another bite but i tasted it off my friends plate, Apple tart had too much cinnamon, and the chocolate whatever it was had too much cocoa, almost made it bitter. All those slight errors is overlooked because the customer service was excellent.
The food was very good. The food was very different to food we had in other restaurants on the Island.
The roasted pumpkin soup was amazing. We all enjoyed the chicken, lamb and ribs main course. I was not that impressed with the cheesecake - very dry, needed some cream or something.
The service was good, although a couple of times we had to chase the staff for things we had requested. The staff were very friendly.
Would definitely recommend a visit.
We were honored to be the first guests to book through OpenTable! And ... we are glad we did. If you did not know the restaurant was there, you'd drive by it. But, once you find it, what a gem! Great food, great service, great music (jazz for the most part) ... all in all a great find!
Thanks Ti Bannae for being on OpenTable so we were able to find you and enjoy a wonderful lunch. We look forward to our next visit!
