One of my favorite local restaurants, great food and friently service and always consistent. Just wish it was a bit less expensive and we'd go there more often.
Took my daughter out for dinner. She suggested going to Thyme. Food was outstanding! Staff was wonderful. Great night!
Everything was perfect! The ambience, service, food; a real gem!
Weekend brunch is the best!
Overpriced mediocre food, expensive low quality wine, totally overrated restaurant.
Very ordinary restaurant.
Brunch on weekend is overpriced and the food is soso
They never cease to amaze. Every time we go, the food is always better than the last. Thank you for always being a reliable place we can always take friends and family to when we need a good restaurant.
Everything was terrific and they didn’t rush us out and we were there a long time
Terrible Service. Good Food.
The Bad: Asked not to be sat down by kitchen doors or any busy areas. Had a party of 7 and of course they sit me next to a busy kitchen area. While we were eating our dessert, waitress decided to chuck the bill at us - literally. Waitress lacked mannerism throughout whole experience with no smile whatsoever. Also, they took they took their sweet time serving us, but as soon as it cleared out they tried to rush the bill. Never rush the bill - its a rookie mistake. Wait staff, bartenders, etc. all kept staring at us waiting to finish. Lastly, which is the reason I'll never come back - the waitstaff decided to clean the garbage in the room next to us which led to a disgusting, foul odor that lingered to our table while we were eating dessert. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for. Wait staff took 15/20 minutes each time to clean our plates. I also noticed another group who were dressed in sweatshirts and regular attire - so much for business casual. What happened to the restaurant that had ettiquete instead of taking everyone in.
Food: Lamb Chops were cooked perfect as requested. Crab cake was delicious with apple slaw. Drinks were strong and fairly priced. Dessert was decent. $400 for 7 people was reasonable. We tipped the waitress more than I would have, but I guess she may need it more than we do.
I wont be back due to the terrible service.
The food was amazing! I took my mom for Sunday brunch and she was impressed, as well. We’ll definitely be back
Very friendly and good food
Passover dinner was wonderful. Seder plate, matzva ball soup, brisket, salmon and chicken were delicious. Dessert was great. 👍👍👍👍👍
We went for the Passover Prix-Fixe meal. Truthfully, for $65/person, brisket should never be on the menu. It is by far the cheapest item one can buy (I'm in the meat biz), but I understand it's a holiday tradition. The choices shouldve all been inclusive and not add-ons. That said, I love, love, Thyme! The staff is warm and inviting from the valet to the runners. I go for lunch/dinner most times, and it's always delish and innovative. Go, perhaps, not on a holiday!
I have come back for one last time to THYME. Seriously the chef here needs to be more current. heavily salted and buttered food is not the style any longer. Most people want healthier alternatives. There's few here.
The open steak sandwich lunch was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Salad appetizer fresh and flavorful. Strawberry short cake dessert to die for! Luis is always at the top of his game and remembered my drink from months before without explaining. We were allowed to dine and visit without feeling rushed. The tables are a bit tight along the bench wall.
Consistent and delicious- never disappoints. From burgers, salads, grilled salmon, roasted chicken - I could go on and on. Everything on this restaurant is delicious.
My son and I went for brunch and I was very excited to have the salmon eggs benedict, but it was cold, and the waiter never came by to see (until we were done) how everything was. Really overrated!
It's a great location and the tables are spaced far enough apart that you can have a private conversation. We had the duck, which was excellent, and the pork chop, which was a little dry and not especially flavorful. Other times we've gone, the food has been better.
This was a very pleasant experience - - the food was excellent and the service friendly, attentive, and helpful. We particularly recommend the salads, which were creative and yummy.
Great food and service.Almost always crowded and noisy, though and a bit expensive for the ambience. We go about 5-6 times a year.
Went for lunch as a ladies get together. Food was very good, we had the salads with add-ins of steak and shrimp. We were not rushed and enjoyed the ambiance. My guests were from Europe and they loved everything about Thyme.
Waittress and food were excellent can’t wait to go back!
Excellent dinner and service. Fish is especially good
Our first visit to Thyme and I could not have been more impressed. Food was excellent, service was superb. Atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend Thyme to anyone.
People are grumpy. Seats were not ready on time. Food is average.
Great food great service super loud and super crowded
Thyme NEVER disappoints!!! Have dined here many times and they always come thru with amazing food. We have had salads, crab cakes, burgers, steak chicken- . I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could!!!!! Just had today tomato soup with a basil drizzle on top and I wanted to lick the plate clean- WOW!!!
Thyme never disappoints!! Always a fantastic meal with great service !
It is our family’s go to place
Exceptionally delicious food and a plentiful variety of choices on the menu.
Live music with solo performer was enjoyable and was clearly heard in the upstairs dining area.
Disappointed by the 20-min wait to valet our car and the 25-min wait in a very crowded bar area, to be seated, with a reservation made 3 weeks prior.
Excellent food and service. Facility is somewhat attractive but older. We will return
This was my second trip to Thyme for lunch. Perfect spot to catch up with friends and have a real conversation. Food and service excellent!
Always lovely and reliable.Food is delicious and nicely presented
8 of us met for brunch. Food and service was great. Drinks were weak. Put some bloody vodka in my Mary, please.
First time I was disappointed with the food. Crispy calamari appetizer was a lot of salad with very little calamari which was not crispy at all. Maybe 4 half inch raw pieces.
The salmon entree was a very dry piece of fish, much like frozen or precooked and reheated.
I have dined at Thyme many times in the past and always enjoyed the food, but I’m not sure I would go back.
I love this restaurant for special occasions. The food is ALWAYS consistantly outstanding, fresh and innovative.
When we walked into the half empty restaurant and asked to be seated at the empty table by the window, the hostess told us we couldn’t sit there because it was for VIPs. Insulting us was a bad way to start. Poorly trained wait staff made the evening worse. This restaurant needs better management and better training for its staff. After two years as customers, we will be dining elsewhere in the future.
The food was expensive for the portions they served. Also we felt rushed
My husband and I discovered Thyme several years ago . We had been to the movies in Roslyn and noticed an interesting looking place right next door. It has become a favorite “ dinner and movie” venue for us ever since. Consistently good food and interesting choices .
My one less than positive comment about about service is a pet peeve of mine. I hate it when plates are cleared from the table while people are still eating. I know servers do this because they are instructed to do so, but I wish they would ask customers first before removing what seems to be a finished plate .
We often eat at Thyme and enjoy the food very much. The staff is very attentive and the service is excellent. We highly recommend Thyme.
