Nice weekend brunch/ lunch menu.
Tables are a little close together.
Brunch was wonderful, the offerings on the menu were very good we ordered the French toast and applewood smoked bacon and that was delicious as well as the mushroom omelette. The cavetelli pasta dish was also delicious. We had the blood orange margaritas and we were very satisfied with our entire meal. The service was very attentive and the ambiance was very nice as well. I’ve been dining at Thyme for years and will continue to do so, as well as recommend to family and friends.
Thyme never fails to satisfy! Whether it's brunch or dinner, I have never had a bad meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food excellent. Will definitely be back soon.
One of my favorites.
It is one of those rare places where you can be happy with literally any line item on the menu.
And the food is prepared very well.
Great restaurant with wonderful food and service. Menu was great too.
Best restaurant experience for 2021 recommended to all my friends
We’ve been here multiple times. The food and service are consistently very good. This was a small family birthday celebration for my wife. There was plenty of space between tables, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
A very nice, quiet dinner. Very relaxing!
The forbidden black rice was terrific. The waiter was attentive. But you are only given one biscuit/scone per person.
Perfect from beginning to end. Great food.
Their seared tuna entree is incredible.
A simple and elegant experience. Modern classic cocktails with a slight twist. The bar menu wasn't over the top but had something for everyone. Wine list was a little lacking - would of like more varietals of grapes but landed on an outstanding Barolo which was only sold by the bottle and we were able to cork and 3njoy at home with our leftovers....
Which brings me to the food... Bravo!
The first course we went classic with the butternut squash soup and warm Caesar. This salad was delightful- have had a grilled Caesar but this warm wilted salad paired with beautifully griddled br r AD was the perfect combo of textures and flavors and a light start to our meal! Soup was hot and had warm spices and was extremely velvety.
We opted for the short ribs papardelle and the lamb shank for entrees.
It was easy to surmise the pasta is made in house right off the bat. This short ribs dish was everything you want in a short rib..ribs... melt in your mouth, robust flavors in a braised stew with lots of root veggies and yummy sauce to stick to your ribs! I even asked for some extra braising liquid to bring home!
The lamb was grandiose- a simple meat and potatoes dish. No frills. Simplistic red wine reduction to tie the smooth Whipped potatoes and garlicky spinach all together with the slight gaminess of the lamb. Most of the meat was cooked perfectly but a small bit was just under for me a tad rare. Not to worry it was enjoyed at home with that amazing barolo and a movie!
The staff was polite and the restaurant paid attention to detail - valet, coat check, information on restroom location upon seating you. Very sweet, and set in a quaint and beautiful little town on the water. So picturesque!
Do yourself the favor and go! Get the Short Rib Papardelle!!! Props to our server Christina - awesome vibe!
I found my meal ruined by that one server who just wouldn't wear her face mask over her nose. Several people asked her. I'm not sure if her bad attitude was over her work or her hangover but it really cast a pall over the meal. The rest of the staff was lively. She needs an attitude adjustment
The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Excellent dining experience!
Excellent environment and food. Love the pear lychee martin
Loved the atmosphere of the dining room and the Christmas tree that was outside providing a holiday spirit. The hostess and waiter/bartender were excellent. The cocktails and wine were of a superior quality. The free range chicken, vegetables and tri-color potatoes were quite tasty. The apple tart and ice cream were light and hit the right note.
Will come again!
Today was our first time at Thyme Restaurant and everything was outstanding.
Thyme has a beautiful cozy ambiance. The food is delicious and the service is attentive and timely.
We were a party of 3. We shared a beet salad and as entrees had duck tacos, crab cake, sautéed spinach and a hamburger with sweet potato fries. All of the food was well prepared. The service was very good. The downstairs room does get noisy when full. We enjoyed our dinner and will certainly will return.
We have always liked Thyme. The menu is creative and the preparation and presentation excellent. But the noise level last night was almost intolerable. It would have been a lovely experience if we had been able to speak with our table mates
without having to raise our voices.
R joy being able to go out to a great restaurant during the pandemic that offers outside seating.
Brunch was delicious. Many choices and delicious. Excellent service.
I have been here many times and the food just wasn't as exceptional as it usually is. The Bellini we ordered tasted more like a mimosa and when we mentioned it to the waiter he gave us a response that actually was undecipherable. All in all it was a good experience, but not up to the wonderful one we were used to.
Always exceptional food and great service every time.
The location is lovely with an intimate feeling. We were seated immediately upstairs, while we waited for the rest of our party. The service staff was friendly and attentive, and struck the balance between being on top of it yet never making us feel rushed or hovered over. The meals were nicely prepared and presented, and we enjoyed our dishes. Would return and recommend
Excellent omelette and salad
Too bad the tables are too close together
Overall a lovely place to eat!
Thyme is a restaurant I can always count on for amazing food and service!! I have eaten here many, many times and have never been disappointed.
Falafel and biscuits were great. Some people did not enjoy the lox.
toast was charred burned for the smoked salmon platter and very cheap supplied with potions, overly priced and no coffee included
We had a wonderful meal and equally wonderful service thank you
Amazing staff and food. Will be back. The shrimp and clean linguini superb
No Covid protocol & very loud with high prices!
Good food, great service and a sweet spot! Always enjoy my time there.
Perfect Thanksgiving date night. Will visit again. Request the window view of the lake.
Wonderful Food & Service on a very busy day. Kudos to All.
My family and I have dined at Thyme for Thanksgiving and other special occasions for 3+ years. Unfortunately the price increase to $78 per person for Thanksgiving this year did not justify our experience. Our waiter took over ten minutes to return to our table to take our drink order, the prime rib that we ordered was extremely tough (we left 30% of it on the plate because it was unable to be cut even with the steak knife provided. The accompanying potato/hash brown cake was burned on the bottom). Also, we received our coffee after we finished the dessert that was brought to our table. As for the ambiance, the restaurant was warm despite the front doors being wide open to no doubt accommodate the diners who were eating outside (for $78 per person I can't imagine eating outside in the cold with jackets and hats on). All of the tables except for ours had little tealight candles lit. After about 45 minutes the wait staff realized and lit the candle. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but definitely an indication of their lack of detail and possible lack of staff. The meal for my party and I was not worth the $350 tab (we ordered a few drinks with dinner). Sadly, like many restaurants on Long Island that were constantly good for a while, Thyme has become yet another statistic to over pricing and under delivering. If it wasn't Thanksgiving, we would have walked out. We will not be returning for any holiday or special occasion.
The food was excellent, but the room was WAY too crowded and people were seated way too close to each other. I will not be back for that reason.
A little too noisy and crowded
for intimate night.
Turkey was more dry than expected; should have cranberry sauce
for more moisture.
Margarita was awful.
Great service and very good food. Impressive thanksgiving meal
