Thyme Kitchen & Craft Beer
Our food was brought to the table close to an hour after we got there. The fried brussel sprout appetizer was burnt, crumbly, and dry. 2 of the 6 entrees came out cold. Once we waved down our waitress she took them back to the kitchen while the rest of us ate. She then brought the 2 new burgers out and they were still just lukewarm. The waitress never came back to the table to ask how things were until she brought our bills. We had to ask to get the burgers discounted and the manager didn’t come over to the table until we asked our server to speak to her. On the bright side they did make cute mocktails for 2 of us who couldn’t drink.
Awesome staff, wide menu of brews. Food was all good. Loaded fries, fried cauliflower, brisket, Mac n cheese all excellent.
This was my first visit to Thyme, and I was not disappointed! I loved being able to create my own beer flight, and I found a couple new favorites. Our fried Brussels sprouts appetizer was exceptional as were our entrees! Loves the warehouse district ambiance and the staff were attentive and prompt without being clingy! I’m anxious to visit again!
The service was awful, fortunately they took care of it on the bill. However, I would still rather pay for the meal and have good service, then a discounted bill with poor service
I was just going to let things slide, but OT asked for the review so here it is. Definitely our worst experience at Thyme by far. Our kids food came in a timely manner, but then ours took an additional 30 minutes. Upon asking whether our food was coming our server responded like we were crazy. When it finally did come, no apology was offered.
At that point our kids were antsy so we had to choke down our food. I still took the time to notice that the shrimp on my dish were the tiny cheap ones you get at Costco for $20/bag. I also noticed that the grits on my plate were surrounded by a ring of ketchup. The server tried to convince me it was a mole. It was not.
It’s a shame, really. Thyme was one of our favorite spots in the area. It’s not like we’ll never go back, but damn, it’s gonna be a while. A long while.
Enjoy the experience food and service
Met with friends we hadn’t seen in years. Waitress was extremely patient with us while taking our time to order and just relax. Serving size was plentiful. Drinks were good but a little short for the cost.
Fun place before a show at the Civic Center
Amazing food and atmosphere, we will definitely making another trip!
Great bourbon, great food , nice atmosphere
Favorite hot chicken in the area. Service is more consistently good at the bar.
I wish someone would have looked at my plate before sending it out. It seemed like something I would have gotten at a cheap Mexican restaurant - not a $21 deconstructed Duck tamale. It was just food sloppily thrown in a plate. There was nothing elevated or deconstructed about it. Just heavy piles of food. Also, the corn on my plate was definitely NOT elote.
We really do enjoy dining at Thyme so I’m truly hoping our experience was just a fluke.
Food was great.
Great tasting food. The tater tots and fries could have been hotter as they were just warm. The fried deviled eggs lacked flavor. they are nothing special and for the price not really worth it in my opinion. Loved the ambiance and really liked the ability to make a reservation.
So glad we made reservations and it was well worth it! We immediately got seated and enjoyed our dinner out before seeing a show.
Great little restaurant for a casual date. Lots of craft beer selections and bourbons!
Great food and great place. Noise level got higher as more people came in and made it harder to visit.
Food came out cold and brisket was dry. My sangria tasted like dry red wine.
This is a cute restaurant with delicious food! Bacon Jam is a must for an appetizer
We were seated promptly upon our arrival. Though I would have liked a table that wasn't in the bar area, I understood since it was New Year's Eve. Our server was efficient and checked on our table often. The food was delicious. We'll definitely be going back.
The only thing that saved this night out was the good food. We had a 6:30 reservation, we seated promptly and then didn’t have my first drink until 7:30! We not eat until past 8:00. Our server had attitude and was in no way apologetic for the slow service. They were grossly understaffed with only two servers and one person at the bar. We don’t have nights out with friends often so this was a disappointment and we won’t be returning anytime soon.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service.
Horrible service and rude servers. Waiter asked for more tip after ignoring us for the whole night. Good took a while.
Thyme was a great place to eat brunch. The drinks were great. The food was even better. I will be back the next time I am in town!
Everything my group had was delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere is wondrous.
Amazing food and great atmosphere! Highly recommend for a great time!
Friendly staff and amazing food
Service was terrible. Food was average.
Great Food and Service as always - an amazing restaurant chain... Highly recommend
Unique food choices that we loved!
Although I would still recommend Thyme, our last visit was disappointing. We have been here before and the food is good, but this time my husband and his friend's chicken was in their words, "terrible." My gluten free bun was stale. The French fries were excellent though. We will go back, hoping this was just a one time event.
Felt it was a good value and food was delicious.
Food was awesome, we would for sure visit again because of it, but customer service was sub par. Our bartender was not friendly at all, didn’t even ask how we were and did not check to see if we needed anything , we had to ask.
Food was great. Service was a little slow. When we went in it was not that busy. We were sat quickly and were given a bottle of water right away. But then we never had anyone come by to see if we wanted something else to drink or to take our order for over 10 minutes. And our server had originally gotten my order wrong.
We have visited previously and always found Thyme a good value. On this occasion all 4 of us ordered a brisket dish and 2 of us were disappointed that our brisket was too tough to eat. I could not chew mine completely and another in the group simply gave up and left his on the plate.
Great food and great atmosphere. Will be going back and the reservation was a breeze and we were seated right away. Food was very fast.
Our server was terrible.
He kept us waiting forever never asked if we wanted another glass
Never checked if we needed anything
Wouldn’t go back
It is a neat atmosphere with good service and quality food
The poke bowl had a weird taste to it (I've had it a few times before and it's been good in the past but always a different flavor- this time it was terrible). It's very unpredictable of whether or not it'll be great or awful.
Nice selection of spirits and beers. Food was on point.
