WE LOVED OUT DINNER ON SATURDAY NIGHT AT tHYME. WONDERFUL SERVICE AT OUR TABLE AND THE BAR. THYME IS A WONDERFUL SUPPER CLUB IN A WARM INVITING INN, WE COULD ASK FOR NOTHING BETTER. EACH TIME WE DINE, WE HAVE INCREDIBLE FOOD.BRAVO1
Excellent food, great atmosphere, perfect experience
The meal was ok my wife's risotto was excellent. I had the surf and turf special , the lobster tail was ok the steak was very fatty and kind of tough - would not recommend that meal. Drinks were good. Service was excellent.
Great service and a wonderful staff. Loved the food and would definitely recommend Thyme.
First time there. Extremely pleased. Everyone should try it. Cannot say enough good things. Excellent service. Great food. Great value
The food was good, the staff were very nice, and the only reason I gave 4 stars was because they were out of the Butternut Squash ravioli and the Mushroom Risotto. For the restaurant to be out out of 2 menu offerings at 6 pm on a Saturday evening was a disappointment. But overall everything was great and I would definitely come back.
We have enjoyed absolutely everything we have ordered here. The smoked whitefish appetizer is outstanding. The whitefish for dinner was perfect, and the General Tso’s chicken dish is marvelous. Excellent drinks from the bar, and a great wine list, along with expert guidance as to what to order for accompany your food. Friendly owners and staff.
We have dined at Thyme for the last three years. We will continue to do so. I can't come up with one negative comment.
The butternut squash ravioli was the best meal I have ever had in Door County!
One in group had Mac n cheese w ribs, needs to be cheesier and not much meat on rib. South west chicken good ,but very spicy. Crab cakes were good. Asian grain bowl w shrimp was good.
this is some of the worst food we've ever had out in door county! my stir fry was mushy, over-sauced and way too salty. my husband's burger was way overcooked; they remade it and it was still overdone! we will not go back.
Overpriced buffet....eggs were cold, pancakes soggy. Breakfast is better and 80% cheaper at MacDonalds.
Food was awful. Prime rib was well done (asked medium), kids buttered noodles tasted like they’d been boiled in onion water, my Mac and cheese from the Mac and ribs lacked any kind of flavor. The bright spot was the ambiance and Rachel, our server. Won’t be back.
Great food. Very quiet. Nice for conversation Beautiful view looking out the window at golf course. Disappointed they ran out of the mushroom risotto It must have been delicious.
Food was delicious and the service was great! We will definitely be back.
Food was good not exceptional. Value was good. They had a Supper club special. It was fine. Service was a little slow but we did not mind that. Overall a nice spot. I was surprised that is was a golf club house.
We had a great meal with great wine (half price bottles on Wednesday evening). Service was great and attentive by Rachel. Bartender Dale mixed two great cocktails before dinner. Food was well prepared and presented - all was good
Kudos to the chef! 'Amazingly creative cuisine in a traditional country club setting. The recently updated wine list was also a surprise. The 2015 St. Emilion was outstanding and more than fairly priced. We look forward to returning to sample more of the menu. We dined here because of its proximity to Door Shakespeare which we attended that night. 'So glad we chose wisely.
It's also a great place for young families if the weather's good. There's a modern playground in the outdoor seating area that our grandkids would love.
It’s too bad. The food was good, not out of the park, but good. Dining is more than the food. The restaurant was very quiet. No one was there, maybe three tables inside. We sat outside ...alone. The view is very nice over the golf course. The dining room seemed cozy. The food was presented well. Our server was attentive. We were informed the rolls would be late in coming as they forgot to turn on the oven...then we got cold rolls after having to ask. What?! The parking lot and course were full. Maybe after play it fills up. Hope so. This food really was better than some we’ve tried.
We won’t go back.
The Friday fish fry (perch) was outstanding.
Started with drinks at the bar. Dale, the bartender is the best. Our waitress, Nadia was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. My husband had the prime rib which was perfect. My Asian grain bowl was very good. I would recommend! Hubby’s cherry pie was spot on! Thank you!!
Liked the reservation via phone. Window view is beautiful. Salad was small for price.
Like your place a lot.
We were a party of 12 with 4 young children and the food and service was great. The adults enjoyed the half price bottles of wine.
Restaurant is a little hard to find, but worth it. Whitefish and risotto were outstanding. Service was pleasant and attentive. We will definitely return.
This is an above-scale country club restaurant in a real country club, so look for the Maxwelton Braes CC when driving there. The food is very good+. My wife and I split the Pear and Goat cheese salad which was excellent and then we had had the broiled whitefish and the salmon with lingonberry glaze. Both were very good but the whitefish could have used just a bit more browning. The glaze was an interesting twist on the salmon. It was a nice taste treat. The melange garden veggies were a bit limpy and kinda bland. All the food though was fresh and high quality. The Classic Sundae was a treat for dessert but the cherry pie, although good, was just average for Door County cherry pie! I couldn't end this review without complimenting the excellent and friendly service we received from our server, Nadiia. She was very attentive as was her assistant, and genuinely warm and welcoming. She made us feel right at home. I recommend giving the place a try for a solidly good experience. Plus the view of the golf course is enjoyable for those who need a golf fix.
Great food. Salmon entree. Pear and Goat Cheese salad. Strawberry Shortcake.
Service by Nadia was outstanding, food was great!
Excellent food, service, fun menu, great reservation system!
I don’t give Thyme much time in this location. The menu is too big and restaurant too empty/ slow to have all things be good.
My husband ordered the meatloaf even though it’s not really a summer meal. I could tell by looking at it that it was terribly dried out. He said it was very bland. Our friend had the cherry chicken and said is was ok. My dinner of shrimp linguine was the best as it had a good garlic taste.
Overall would not go back or recommend. The location is somewhat remote but building and setting is lovely. Someone will nail it with the right, engaging restaurant venue but Thyme isn’t cutting it for us.
Tucked away in Baileys Harbor at the golf course, is a serendipitous find! I went with 4 friends and first we sat outside by the firepit and had a cocktail. Dinner was beyond our expectations. The food was fabulous-the kind of food you hope you will get when you go out to eat. Exceptional flavors and combinations of food. My favorites were the grilled salmon, tender and not overcooked, and the barbecued chicken with the cherry sauce. Wow!
Wonderful dinner. Excellent food. Highly recommend.
Our dining experience was wonderful. We have been to Thyme several times through out the last 2 years.
The golf course view, exceptional servers, updated decor, great variety of menu items, and the quality of food makes Thyme a definite choice to dine at when you are choosing restaurants in Door County.
Fresh whitefish is our favorite. An early bird menu (4:30-5:30) has a nice variety of selections and it is so easy to make a reservation on Open Table.
Four of us dined and we all loved our meals! 3 of us had early dining. We couldn't have been more pleased with the presentation and flavor of our meals! The server was very friendly and attentive. This was our first visit to Thyme and won't be our last.
Food is always great. We enjoyed our steaks! The cocktails were fantastic!
Delicious dinner. Ate outside with a view of the golf course (only ones dinning outside). What made this dinner memorable was the server (Nadiia). While her other customers were inside, she made frequent trips to make sure we were happy, satisfied with our food, and did not need anything at that moment. Seems like too often today food is served and the wait staff aren’t seen again. Would go back for the food but hope all staff are as good as Nadiia.
This was our most enjoyable meal in Door County this weekend.
Great food in a great atmosphere. Our waitress was great and prompt. Menu was good, and the food was excellent. Reasonably priced and would definitely go back!
Went for Early Dinning special. Restaurant was empty although more people came while we were eating (it was a Tuesday evening). Whitefish was good but had some bones that needed to be picked around. Bruschetta appetizer and a ice cream sundae both very good.
Excellent food at reasonable price. Great service also!
Food priced too high for the quality. Or prices too high for mediocre food.
